You have probs noticed i dont have a huge gallery here on FA so im writing a journal to make it clear why.
Fursuiting is something id love to be doing more of and natrely the more you do it the more pics you will beable to share.
Here is the issue, i dont use facebook and hence its very hard for me to get my hands on pictures of myself that others have taken.

Went ice skating in suit just yesterday, heaps of people showed me the pics and videos they took (thank you so much ^^ ) im just in the prossess of chasing some of thoes up to share with all you cool peeps watching.
Over the next week im going to do my best to chase up pics now and old and upload them here.

p.s a shout out to my suit builder wild life for being so patient. iv has Diego 2.0 for over a year now and have been very poor and slack with uploading content, simply because i struggle to get my hands on it :*(

Making this journal because im pissed off about furs who invite themselves to my social group and circle of friends.
Im well known for always welcoming and including new furs. But in the last month there has been this bloke at coffee meet who shows up with NO money, smelling like he works at a tip and no clue when it comes to social behaviour.

I welcomed him because he was new and now his just wrecking my friends and my thursday night out.
Fuck off!!!
Welcoming people, doing the right thing, being a kind friendly person these things when your in the furry fandom can put you in a real shit place.

If something or someone looks like shit, smells like shit and TASTES like shit. Then their SHIT.
Far out im pissed about this.

Just a shout out to see how many people are planing on attending Midfur 2017 next year.

Rumor has it that if your on the DSP you get a free fursuit.
Prity sure its true cause the number of people i know on DSP with a fursuit that wasnt built themselves (cause their disabled, derrrr) is considerable.
Some even have multiple full suits from big name builders.

Speaking of rumors iv also herd that fursuits give you autisim.
If thats true this seems like a vicious circle.
You get a free suit with the DSP. That suit also had the potential to give you autisim.

Im generally not a fan of tattoos but a well done paw print on the rump or something tasteful and furry realy strikes a match with me.

I sent the guy a PM aski g about his camera and all i received in return was abuse followed by a block.

Saw zootopia today with my buddy trak at the 12:00pm session.
Wow just wow, nick and judy are both just so lovable. Grrst music and all very well done as you would expect from disney.
I hope some day they bring out a second movie to follow on with the time line.

This has been on my mind for afew years now and its just become too much to hold in.
It has come to my attention that the fur community has been infiltrated by people pretending to be furs in order to befriend legitimate furs.
These people all have a common goal, sex.
There are a number of people now floating around the community who dont showcase any real interest in anthropomorphism, cartoons or genrel furry pass times.
Some may take part in activities such as fursuiting simply to gain popularity within the community attracting furrys they find desirable. These people often lack imagination and artistic skill making fursuiting an easy way to seemingly integrate and infiltrate the furry community.
Just that someone owns or wears a fursuit Does Not make them a furry.

Furs being a very accepting and open bunch have a tendancy to be too friendly and too open at times, these predators exploit this weakness for their own gain and gratification.
The fur community has an above average concentration of people with mental health complaints, these people arnt very good at reading others leaving predators to roam and exploit more easily.

It pains me knowing that predators and their actions go undetected in the community,
A community i care so much about.

Just like the Catholic church and its staff, these people wont beable to hide forever.
Cardinal George Pell cant hide the churches atrocities forever.
The predators of the furry fandom will also be exposed one day.

---what you can do---
If you know of anyone who you belive is being exploited, tell someone.
Another fur, a best friend, parent or even better if you have the courage make a police report. These predators survive and thrive because of silence.

Its midnight and iv just goten word that the world has just lost David Bowie to cancer.
Only in August i went to melbourne to see "this is david bowie" an expo on his life, music and art. Took my best mate along we both lernt alot my friend lernt more than me about an artist who in my opinion was up -there- near micheal jackson.
Perhaps now david has departed he will beable to find out "is there life on mars".
a fashion icon, actor, musician, composer, artist (paper) and pioneer. He took creativity to infinity and beyond.
his work, ideas and influence have touched everyone in some way, chances are you dont even know what you have experienced that he influenced some of his ideas and conceptshave become so ingrained in the world people need to be reminded that bowie did it first.

All that aside I made a new friend today. Amazing guy, meeting this dude has changed my perspective of different sorts of people in turn opening my eyes and my mind significantly. Freeing up my ability to think with more scope and see things in a differnt way. Feeling realy fresh now.

Speaking with my partner today i feel we have a more solid direction laid out infront of us now making it easier for me to visualize, plan and pursue my/our future.
Clarity what a refreshing thing! I luff that boy lots. He makes me jump through hoops and its bloody hard work sometimes but his worth it. Just to keep things fair i have him jump through hoops too sometimes. What I mean is we both do stuff that shits each other but love pulls us through. So cleshay but so true.

Today was a great day, the first step up the ladder to a possitive new future with direction, ambition and clarity.

Any friends and family who have ridden in my car should recall my choice of music.
Often they complain about symphony's in the cd player or classic fm.
For someone my age its an unusual taste and im asked why do I like it.
The answer is very simple, watch any early disney film preferably a short like mickey mouise donald duck or even WB's bugs bunny. Almost no talking and the whole episode is -set- to the music.

Anyone and especially furries who great up with these cartoons knows what im talking about.
So realy my love of classic is nothing out of the ordinary. I just listen without the cartoon rolling :p

These songs and music remind me of why I am a furry and in a wider sence what it means to be a furry. Its about imagination and our love of animals. Not simply consuming media, although the songs and drawings are beautiful.
Sit down look out the window and listen to some classical and you'll be remimded why you fell in love with these cartoons and charicters as a child and why finding the furry community was one of your defining moments in your life.
This is the very essence of Furry ♡

So tune into some classical music look out the window and be a furry... let your imagionation take you away.

Furdu 2016, iv been hearing rumors that there are no volunteers willing to help out and make it all happen for 2016. Does anyone know whats going on with the du?

Something that does my head in is this whole autisim awareness movement.
Yea yea in get it its kind of a new found thing to most of the public and knowledge is a possitive thing.

If you have autisim in any form thats unfortunate, obviously everyone wants to be as happy and successful in life as possiable, something like autisim doesnt help.

But whats up with the puzzle pices campaign and the never ending "im autistic im autistic im autistic" story? Look peeps... I feel for you but lets move on. People have empathy and understand what your up against so please be more productive and do something with yourself and your life insted of just sobbing.

Dont get me wrong I do care, I just recon people need to get move on and realize the worlds clued in enough.

New fursuit yew!
Its been a loooong time... just over 7 years infact since i took delivery of my first suit.
Wildlife did an amazing job and their team was so friendly and amazing. Such passion and love.
lots of things happening latly my mate collie boy has been waiting for his new suit from a big artist for over 3 years niw and the builder is an outright crook! Soon as he takes delivery artist beware will have a huge update coming its way.

More stuff its been stupid cold here latly. So i went onto the internets and bought some epic jumper from iceland, after postage exchange rate and all that its cowt me 300 aud. 300 bucks for a jumper aww yea im shaking, hope it keeps me warm...

Making lots more friends latly cause its all a about who you know now a day. Tom, Dick & Harry are great blokes keen to catch up with cool peeps.
Big month for my mate and i coming up lots of family stuff to go to and catch up on together. Living the dream.
might start trying to get creative together soon. Put some pencil to oaoer mabey even start on some fursuit stuff we have been procrastinating about forever. Tjat would be good.

I will cut to the chase, this is going to be a breif journal.
It has been a long time in the works, finaly I have it all together.

Furdu 2015,

What a great con. Flew in on Thursday managed a free upgrade on our hotel transfer got to the hotel in no time at all. The ocean view room didn't have much of an ocean view however it was still great. Managed to catch up with tonnes of cool peeps and make some new friends before the con had even started,  Kovu_Roaming ,  eps-ham &  Shikisai it was great to meet you.
Friday con day rushed down for rego, the line moved very quickly because of all the friendly volunteers amazing work. The con space fit out was amazing, the 10000 volt fence, real plants and palms as well as all the signage was so cool and gave a great feel.
After the weather had cleared, the airport had opened again and the weather was warm it was great to roam around outside.
Was so good to see some old faces and hang out with some old buddies as well.
Dead dog dance was epic,  Arti_Husky and I were so rooted afterwards heheh >.< Sunday night was such a great time and so memorable for us <3
Must also give the guys who ran the "furry networking in Asia" a shout out it was amazing meeting you all!!. The panel was very insightful, a very good start at bridging the gap and reaching out, hope you guys will be back next year!

Over all a great con and a fantastic holiday. We will be back.

Every day I open FA look at all the notices and sniff through journals and submissions excitedly just as most furs would.
However what this journal really is about is the garbage that flows through as submissions. “Character for sale”

So I open FA on a normal day, wether is be the home page or the list of notifications in my inbox, there is a FLOOD of these “character for sale” things.

Its all new, probably only going in for the last year or two.
In the beginning it was like “lol funny, what a clever idea to take advantage of some derps by that artist”
Then it got serious... a lot of furs have begun taking this garbage seriously. Fighting over and paying for what is essentially nothing.
No matter how you take it, its bullshit from every level and every angle.

I can understand if someone is selling a fursuit of their fursona and “character is not for sale” is mentioned so that if a derp buys it and romps around pretending to be you at least you have some vague hope of keeping your name clean.
Personally I would never sell a suit of my fursona but some people do, thats cool that’s their choice. If I was them, id make big changes to the garment before it was sold. Full stop.


But this whole {here’s a bunch of -off the shelf- coulor in the lines templates} that have had some coulor slapped on them in photoshop taking 2 mins each, with a price tag above each one.
that's weak, seriously. I thought furs had imagination, feeling and conceptual awareness.
A fursona is unique and different to every fur. Not necessarily unique in appearance but unique in in the sense of WHAT/WHO THEY ARE TO the person/fur. “what is your fursona to you” a fantastic question ill always ask when I meet a new furry or want to get to know someone well.

For me personally I am Diego, he –myself- is just a different more ideal physical being that other people or furs can communicate with. Kind of like a reflection in the mirror, its real you just can’t touch it.
What a fursona is to them doesn’t matter so long as their happy. But what does matter is when artists take advantage of people with no brain and the other issue being the whole "character for sale" thing is actually causing degradation of the fandom its self.
the practice of selling these things is making some furs and the fandom more consumer based.
Put simply its killing creativity and stopping alot of people intergrading, being creative and just simply using their own mind’s.

the fandom is not about “BUY THIS, GET THAT, BE HERE, SEE THEM”
what is beautiful about the fandom and furs is that we can exist on our own physically and even in our own minds. To be a fur you dont need approval or to be part of “the” group or even other like minded people around you. All you need is just to be yourself and have your own thoughts, mind and imagination.
You could live on an island your whole life alone but in theory still be a fur if you have your own mind and imagination. Of course you’d need an interest in anthropomorphism but you get the point, you don’t need outside influence to be a fur.

“Fursona/Character for self” commercializes and taints What and Who we are. Its ridiculous and shallow... and I don’t like it.

Spent two weeks in Vietnam mid last year and the whole trip has changed my life so much.
From food, people, outlook and even my perception of Australia.
But what this journal is realy about is food. the Vietnamese do it right, pho' FIVE times this week!
Is that an addiction?

Bloody hell,

Iv been stinging so hard to have this particular builder take me on for afew years now.
They've expressed interest in working with me in the last few months.
But now they have completely disappeared, I know I sound like a dramatic furry "boo hoo I NEED a fursuit boo hoo" but seriously its not just me who is finding it touch to commission people. I have the money.... my design isnot hard nor compex AND has a large degree of artistic liberty in it but still..no body wants to take me or some of my mates on.

My old fursuit is shot, worn out, done and retired and its provong impossible to get a nice and suitable replacement. Am I missing something?
Used to be if you had enough money youd simply email an artist and say would you like to take me on, have a chat, talk ideas , give money and let them cut lose and work their magic.


Buggerd if I know what happens today. Hope this amazing artist reply to my email realy soon and takes me on. Got.so many photo shoots I wana do and well and truly need to get back Into suiting with friends again. Kinda helps when you own a firsuit though!

Each to their own but for me, if the ring isnt gold then it simply isnt love.

Thats just me realy if other people dont want gold fine. But I belive most people would ask "is that guy serious" if they tossed a ring at their partner and asked "would you marry me" and it wasnt gold.

Dont thing im right? Well... "Diamonds are forever" (doesnt have to have a diamond's but tmits still a common saying)

I think about these things alot and often they all blend together.
(Its late and im typing this on a phone, hope it makes some kind of sence)

Consumerism, I hate it and how it effects people tremendously. People working jobs they hate to buy shit they dont need or realy want. Wasteful, waste of money and waste of resources and time not to mention very unhealthy, its a recipe for a unhealthy mind.
Thoes who know me well know i have alot of "stuff" too much stuff and iv been trying to give alot away to loving homes. But what I do have im content with, im not hanging for the next thing. Enough about stuff thats all boring and trivial. Iv just noticed people today are even more crazy about getting more shit more frequently than ever. Hate it.

Philosophy, "wolfie you think too much" my buddy is always saying that and his probably right.
I think alot, about alot of things, scenarios and ambitions. Im unable to explain my thoughts and my own feelings fully and properly but hearing that someone notices i actualy use my brain is a relife. It confirms im not mad.

Socioeconomics, iv cone to a realization. Who and what and where someobe stands on the social ladder is bot determined by income, wealth and the cost of their appearence. What dictates someones standing on the social ladder is entirely their attitude to other people and life.
How someone behaves, treats others and interacts is what determines this.
If your a poor quality person no amount of money will fix that, no rolls royce no rolex and no mountine of cash will fix THEM.
A "poor" person will be "poor" forever simply because of their attitude and behaviour even if they won lotto they will still be "poor" because of their approach to everything.
People stuck in a slum are there because of their own behaviour. It doesnt cost anything to be kind, or considerate. It doesnt cost more to present yourself nicely and it doesnt cost anything to be courteous.
To have no money and be with decent people who also have no money is much better than being loaded and hanging out with dick heads, sepo's or yuppies.
Coinsidently people with a good attitude and approach often (not always) are better off financially. Why? Simply because they have the right attitude and treat others around them properly.

All these things are relivant to each other, all of them are important and need to be managed in yiur own mind correctly in order to be happy and content.
Why am I talking about all this weird stuff?

Well.... my heart is bleeding for a new fursuit from an amazing artist, an artist iv been longing to take me on for many years (hope their reading this XD) and afew months ago they said that they would like to do a commishion for me. ♡♡♡

Going back to what I spoke about above, I know this fursuit isnt consumerism, its abit philosophical in a way (im that kind of furry) and it has nothing to do with sociology. I guess its a spiritual thing almost. Like when I had diego made in a fursuit amd done incrediably well I was just so over come and I still say and genuinely belive "money cant buy happyness, but it can buy a fursuit" and its true.
Its not a toy or a thing or an item. Its fabric glue fur and stuff but the fursuit as a whole is so much more for some people.
Im so greatful and excited that their going to bring all this to life. And im ao glad im understanding myself and the world more and more as time goes on.

My head has been a big mess for a while now. No sooner had I almost recoverd when " life" does its thing.
My mind and thoughts are all sweet, I feel fine and have for ages but just had alot to think about.
Whats really puzzling me now is "why me" yea it seems to be a simple question but yhe more inthink about it the more confused I get.
The prospect of others (more people than currently) seeing me as a good friend or more is just weird.
Im weird I have lots of qwirks and whilst I do my best to manage it my mental state isnt always 100%.
I belive im a nice guy and always try to treat others nicely but still, im flabbergasted why some people want to become more involved with me.

Hopefuly the other parties taking this step with me know or understand im nust alittle differnt.

Totally need to keep the submissions side of this page current, so much stuff missing.

Fa as a site is wonderful, its simple old school and just works. feeling realy hesitant about moving over at this point in time.
