Digimon All Star Rumble Released, Reviews Here
Posted 11 years agoG'day everyone, usafgrowlmon here with some actual Digimon news. For those that don't know, Digimon is back on store shelves in countries it hasn't been on in a while today. However, at $40 and on last gen consoles (not even on PC), is it even worth a gander? My own Xbox360 is locked in my trunk and I haven't had the interest in hooking it back up due to my work and university obligations, but upon searching up the news about this game, I am less than pleased.
Well for one, the target demographic for this fighting game is a mix between oldfolks (like us, probably) wanting nostalgia, as well as a little kids that just want to get their hands on a cool new little game. According to the reviews by Kotaku and CinemaBlend (the only ones I found released after the game's release) the game completely fails to provide any needs of the older demographic, and is fairly half-assed even for kids.
Anyway, here's what the game is: Three modes: Practice, Battle, and Story. Practice is... practice. It's the thing that you really don't need in a simple kid game, though for the people that disagree with me, it's there for you. Battle is what it sounds like, you battle other digimon. And Story, here's a quote from Kotaku:
"They won't find solace in Story Mode either. It's a series of incredibly tiny platforming levels — and calling them platforming levels is being generous. You get three or four really quick battles with minion Digimon, followed by a match against one of the game's 12 main fighters. Running through the entire thing takes under an hour, and it doesn't change if you choose a different fighter and start over." http://kotaku.com/digimon-all-star-.....own-1657374568
Aside from that, there's silly mechanics like being if a player is knocked down, they get invulnerability until they get back up. I guess that's acceptable for a kids game, but that's not the only demographic that they're going for, plus if you simply have an easy/medium/hard selection, it won't be too hard to fix that for kids. CinemaBlend seems to be trying really hard to find some value in this game, so I'll show you their summary:
"Coming full circle here, I think the younger crowd and maybe even Digimon diehards are going to get some decent mileage out of All-Star Rumble. You won’t be overwhelmed with content and the arenas lack any real character, but at least the combat is fast, frantic and mostly fun." http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Di.....ing-68324.html
I'm fairly certain that almost no one expected this game to be the most spectacular thing in the world, but it honestly seems like this was just half-assed to make Bandai a quick buck off of kids and nostalgia. If you bought the game and have played it, please write your own reviews below!

Apology for Inactivity
Posted 11 years agoHey everyone, USAFGrowlmon here again. I've been very busy with university studies and the other admins also have their own works to attend to so we have not been able to provide much activity, let alone content, at all. However, this does not mean that the group is dead. I personally will continue to work on it however I can. My last attempt to actually get some content out here disappeared mysteriously as some of you may have noticed. Well simply put, that wasn't in the site's regulations (it seems silly, I know, but that rule is there for a reason). Though now that I have a steady income I will be saving some money to put aside as a prize for an upcoming contest here. It will be absolutely free to participate in as per the sites rules and since I will be capable of providing the prize. I have not decided on the contest so you guys can still suggest stuff for contests! It will most likely be art-based since that's practically the life-blood of this website.
Also please remember that we would love to showcase your digimon art in our submissions folder! Please note us if you'd like for your art to be displayed there, however we do have a selection process so that we don't spam everyone's inboxes.

Heya folks it's
here again to bring you an update on the nostalgia streak Toei/Bandai are bringing us. Yes, Bandai. That means a Digimon video game, coming out on 11 November 2014 for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. It's called Digimon All-Star Rumble, so basically it's a 1-up of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros, and I must say, it looks MUCH better than SSB. Wellp, on a personal note, looks like I have to keep my XBL Gold subscription for another year and hope my 360 lasts, assuming 4-player combat means it'll be online multiplayer. I will be bugging Bandai Namco Games on Twitter about a PC release and to confirm if it will actually use online multiplayer.

Skype Group: (1 August 2014 (UPDATED))
Soon we will be launching a group on Skype for anyone that'd like a digimon group chat 24/7. This has been on my mind specifically for the past few weeks though I haven't had the chance to act upon it until earlier when I brought it up with the others. I got the green light from Incendramon so it will be released some time (hopefully early) next week. We did actually have someone try to jump the gun and try to start an 'official' chat earlier, though we're currently pacing ourselves from our current situations (like right now I'm in Brazil with <1MBPS connection), just bear with us please.
Separate NSFW Account: (1 August 2014 (UPDATED))
For those of you that enjoy the dirty side of FA and want to see some pr0nz, digimonfursnsfw will be up and running starting 2 August 2014 (feel free to watch it now though). We will NOT bias any kinks as we will try to fave as much well-done NSFW art as possible like we do on this account. Submissions will work the same, just NSFW. The only art we won't fave/upload would be stuff that's meant to cockblock/troll, but if you're picky with your kinks, I suggest paw-picking the ones you like out of the fave list.

New Admins found!

Here's INCtastic with the results of the search for an admin.
Not many people were interested but I am glad that I found two good candidates that I want to mostly hand the group over.
The new admins for the site will be SaberKenji and USAF_Growlmon
Give them a heartly welcome and I'm sure they will do great work.
Since it's quite some time I want to announce some things again.
1. If you want to join our group, just leave a watch and we will watch back, that makes you officially part of the group!
I know I handled this different earlier and now I find it pretty stupid to be honest, so we will keep things easy now.
2. I thought about faving artwork stuff and I came to the conclusion, that even thou we are on Furaffinity, the center of most furry pornography, I still want the group to be mostly clean. Why? Not everybody enjoys everything - some people don't enjoy lesbian pictures, other people don't enjoy gay pictures and again others don't enjoy several fetishes - so besides delicious nudity there will be no adult artwork in this group, I hope everybody is okay with that.
3. If you want your own digimon art to be in the group just leave a note with a link! We will upload it then with proper linking back!
4.I might think of some special contests or stuff that can be held or journals with ask content - we will see what the future brings.
That should be all for now. I hope it's a good refreshing heads up for people around and again, I feel very sorry for letting the group slip like this.

I, the group founder INCtastic, am very sorry for the massive inactivity of the group and that it is pretty poorly handled.
I admit, that I'm not the best person if it comes to leading a group and I hope you can understand that...
So I would ask people and would like somebody to get in as an administrator for the group to clear the inbox, respond to notes, favourite artwork
(For the record I would like the group to stay clean and mostly enjoyable for everybody, that said would involve that the gallery and favourites stay clean from adult artwork, gore artwork and fetish artwork in every case, since not everybody enjoys everything) and manage the page and member list.
Does anybody know a person who would like to take the responsibility of the page?
If so please adress me privatly

This is the new admin Sephircard and as you can see I will write in cyan
So, I don´t really know what to write, so just ask if somebody wants to know something, ok? :3
And, also we search for good artists who draw Digimon, so if anybody knows some, please tell us
Also the drawings should not be mature or adult, please keep that in mind ^w^°

So... I saw we have DAMN much new watcher.
So I want to explain something:
If you want to join, you should write a note to this account.
Then we will add you to our members list.
And please tell others about this page, okay?
That will give us more members if you promote us a bit.
Maybe you tell some artists who like Digimon?

2. Do not make/claim anything as 'official' DigimonFurs content. Only administrators are able to do that. Please note the group with ideas rather than jumping the gun.
3. Keep it SFW here. digimonfursnsfw will have all your needs for your deepest, dirtiest desires (when it goes live, TBD).
4. Administrators reserve all rights and blah blah blah, you're adults, aren't you? Just use common sense, admins have discretion.
