General | Posted 16 years agoI'll be out of my city for a week to visit some furry friends, celebrate my birthday with them and to assist to a Halloween party too. ^w^
The plane tickets were bought about 3 weeks ago, ok? So, it's not like I'm escaping from the commissions XD
Don't worry, I'll take my PC and drawing tools with me. I will try to keep doing the commissions there. But take in consideration that I might work slower being there ^.^;
I also don't know how much I will be able to stay in touch with FA/DA/Messenger/E-mail during that time too >.<;
Anyways, I hope it all goes well like the last two times :D

B) Where does the battle take place?
In a white canvas.
In the first round the scenery has black and white doodles all over the place that come to life as they are drawn. The floor would be made of doodles too, in a shaking animation. The ambient would be something like a joke, nothing to take so seriously. The boss would have a doodle image too.
In the second round the scenery turns more serious though, the canvas starts to draw (from pencil to fully colored and detailed) several catastrophic things like volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes/typhoons and storms and they come to life too and dissolve to let the next one be shown. The boss would be fully detailed and colored now.

I have been watching his arts and journals since long time ago. I admit that at first his drawings didn't get my attention too much ^^;
He still did some few cool drawings that I faved though.
I kept watching him and even re-watched him when I did the watch list clean-up because I saw potential on him.
Time passed and suddenly, out of nowhere he now draws much better! I don't remember when that happened, I think maybe it was during the time he was absent for a long time.
He now uploads very cool drawings (and hot too, when he draws mature art).
He has pencil drawings with lots of details and great shading too! He has inked art too that is pretty cleanly done. And he also has colored drawings and a really cool style. (by the way, I'm not into paws but he draws one of my favorite foot paws I have ever seen)
I need to learn a few things from him, I'm admiring his style.
By the way, he is close to 6000 views too! Go help him reach them by visiting his page please :3

1) What is your self-character's lifestyle vs. yours, and why?
Yamikari the original one:
He is always fighting for his survival and lives in a world in which he is treated in a special way, he is totally different from the others.
He acts the most similar to my real self.
It's like my inner self life but with an outer self traits.
Yamikari the dog:
It's the opposite, inner traits and real lifestyle.
He lives a normal life with his family and friends, his life is like my real life, mom, dad, two brothers, etc. but he acts and looks the way I am inside.
And Why? Honestly, I don't know, it just came out like this without planning anything. It all shaped automatically as time passed.
2) What makes you like a character?
In no particular order:
-The design
-Their colors
-The poses they show
-The way they act
-Their expressions
(I was going to mention their species but erased it because even if they are a species I don't like much they can have a one or more of those elements I mentioned and it can make me like it, like Horace and Grey)

I don't understand very well the question but looking at Grey's answer I think it goes like this:
In case of real life: the body, it's shape, specially the main body from chest to bottom, both front and/or back, that would be my %80. voice would come next, legs and arms next, head at the end.
In case of drawings: the lineart, specially the body, the pose is important too, then the head and expression, then legs (and tail), then arms.
10) What is the biggest obstacle to your artistry?
Lazyness... and it's not only an obstacle on my artistry but in my whole life.
I'm not trying to get rid of it though, I think it is what balances me out and it also has helped me sometimes.
If I would get rid of it, something worse could take it's place to balance me out again and it could be worse than that (even physical injuries can take it's place as an obstacle, like losing an arm or worse)
So I take the saying that implies that you shouldn't fix something that is not broken. (or something like that, heh ^^;; )
