Digi = Digital
Sushi = Asian food

Way back I was only known as Sushi and made adult art for the Digimon Hentai Zone website. I named myself just Sushi to have a non easily "track-able" name. Then when I wanted to become known I added Digi (influence from Digimon) to transform the less original name into something original.

2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?

I wasn't obsessed with anything when I joined here but I had this Pokemon fever, I wanted too much to draw Pokemon, specially the Riolu + Mawile couple.
Right now, the most I am drawing are my own characters.

For some time ago I have had some thoughts about what I am doing to my gallery and about the image/impression it gives about the artist (me).

I have asked a very few friends about what do they think about me when they see my gallery, if they think I really like vore/hardcore/gay porn/all that mature stuff I have drawn.

I decided to make this journal to hear your opinions about what I have done up to this day with my gallery and if you could also help me to decide if I should stop drawing things that do not correspond to things that I really like and stop giving a false impression.

My points for drawing that stuff is:
1.- They are mostly gift art for people who like that stuff.
2.- It helps me to practice my drawings.
3.- It gives my gallery a variety of categories for my watchers.

My points for what I think I should not draw that stuff:
1.- I am supposed to draw what I like to draw.
2.- It gives a bad impression of my persona.
3.- The variety is not welcomed by several people. (for example, people that do not like me to show vore stuff mixed with what they like)

(sorry if this is confusing as I have had a tough time trying to explain this)

Secondly, about the dog Yamikari

I just want to clarify that many people think that he is my real fursona, but he is not, and I designed him just after creating the real one, he was made of several things that were of my personal liking/tastes instead of things that represent me. You might have heard me say that he shares things about me and that is correct too, but that's mainly because I was the one who created him, so it's obvious that he will have some of my personal characteristics/traits or personality.

Well, there were more things I wrote but I erased them because I couldn't express them fine.
I would like to see first what do you have to say about this.

Well, I think I will cancel that thing about not using windows live messenger during all April ^^;;
It was done mainly to avoid distractions and do some drawings I owe and well... I think it is not necessary to do that now since I got a job on a very very nice place were I am all alone and I can draw just fine.
So, while I'm home I can chat and get distracted and at work I can draw without distractions since there is no internet there.
There were other reasons for that decisions too (for both not using WLM and for cancelling the rule) but I don't want to get in detail.

I am back at home, thank you very much for the good wishes on the last journal, I did have fun on my trip and with my furiends. *nod*

I have an important notice, my birthday is next Monday, Oct. 27th and I feel the urge to clear my gallery just like the past year. (and it's a very special birthday for me since I will be 27 years old the 27th!!)
Yeah, I know that doing that clean up is not favorable for my pageviews and I might loose watchers but I'm not here for popularity, I am here for improving my arts and have a good time (popularity is a well received bonus though, but just that, a bonus).
So, grab what you can while the drawings are there.

Aside from all that, I plan to show in the header or footer some of my favorite artists and this is more like their inspiring artwork than a good relationship, so, if you're a good friend of mine and you're not listed, don't think you're not my friend anymore. Also, this doesn't mean that the ones not listed do not have good artwork. I choose the ones who's artwork inspires me to draw.

I am currently working on the story of my character Yamikari and I thought that it would be cool to have some guest appearances on the comic. :D

I have some people's fursonas in mind and I would like to know if I have permission to include them.

There will be no pokemon/sonic/etc. fursonas.

Your fursonas will be treated as being in a new story and will not relate at all to the story you might be doing or already have.

I understand that some are very attached to their fursonas or just might not want to be included.
Please make me know if you either accept or not.
There's no need for explanations if you don't want but at least just let me know if yes or no.

Also, if you have some rules about your fursona or you want him/her to be doing something in particular (nothing with adult theme though) please be sure to tell me.

My preference for most of them is to have them to appear as fighters, some of them being at the evil side, some of them being on the good side.

This past weekend I lost my internet service due to excess of payment (yeah, I love to pay lots and lots of money to the internet service company).
Anyways, I should have the service today again.

I did several drawings meanwhile and I did some slight changes to Yamikari Puppy (mostly about the marks placement on his body)

I will upload today some of the drawings I did on the weekend to show the new reference for him.

On another note, I finally decided on the age of some of my characters:

Yamikari - Age 00 (I think I will keep this age for him)
Yamikari Puppy - Age 18
Yamikari Bunny - Age 16
Yamikari Lion - Age 23
Yamikari Cat - Age 20
Hikami - Age 18
Ehn - Age 10

Also, Yamikari Feline will be know only as Yamikari since he is the original and also because there's already a cat Yamikari character.

Pencil artwork: (no color of course, just pencil, some people call them sketches, some people don't, please check my scraps gallery on the quality of them)

Colored artwork: (digital colors, no pencil colors)

[I might add a simple background when 2 or more characters are required]

Some notes to take in consideration:

-I will try to draw whatever you want and if I have some doubts I will ask you, so, please stay in contact.
-Remember I'm not the best artist in the world (specially in colors), I will try my best for the artwork though.
-I might post the finished commission on my gallery in a smaller size and in %80 quality or might not post it (it depends on my point of view).
-I will send a link with the finished artwork in a private note.
-I will start doing it when I get paid fully.
-Payment is through paypal only.
