ghostfluff Possibly Moving to a new Account?
General | Posted 9 years agoHey all, I know its been a while since I've actually written a journal (I'm working on trying to be more... social online). i just wanted to lay out my thoughts on something that's been bugging me for some time now. so ... here we go.
Would you follow me if moved to new account here on FA?
The reason I ask is because I don't really feel at home on this profile, I originally made it for my Alternate fursona "Digit" in 2012. Since then I've never done anything with the character, infact i actually sold the "original design" for him a long time ago to a close friend even gave her the partials. I ended up redesigning the character but never did anything with that either. Now I just use his profile for uploading pictures of my character "Jet" (My main fursona for many years now) as I ditched my original account
for a completely different reason. Which brings me to my next point.
One of the other reasons I've been pondering switching to another account is also because people do not read profile information. The reason that bugs me so much is because people think my name is DIGIT. They would find out otherwise if they just simply took the time to read the" Full name" area or the red lettered part at the top of my page. Let me be clear on this... it drives me bonkers when someone calls me digit, my name is Jet. Its always been Jet for many many mannnnnny years and ever since the creation of this account I've been constantly telling people of that. This was again another issue on my older account aswell, people just assumed that my account name was my name and i began to bug me.
At anyrate i feel that making a new account is possibly the best/Only coarse of action at the moment (Unless FA decides to allow name changes *shakes fist* - would solve this issue so fast). I feel conflicted about is as well based off of the watchers I've earned/gained, it brightens up my day to post something and have anywhere from 10-80 faves on anyone of my commissioned pieces and i fear leaving this account would simply take that away.
