1. I will be turning 22 in 6 days! DUCE DUCE mutha fucka!
2. I still live at home, to save money....because I pay for most things on my own...and I don't have a large income. :(
3. I'm finishing up my BFA/Majoring in Illustration. I will hopefully be done by fall 2010. I want to work for a company rather than solely on freelance work. (I'm still not sure what I would be good at, any suggestions?) O.o
4. I have a sensitivity to milk, yet I still love to eat ice cream. I just deal with feeling a little sick afterward.
5. I am seriously addicted to chewing gum due to my anxiety problems. I chew about as much as a smoker would cigarettes. Note that I have NEVER smoked anything in my life and never plan to. ^^
6. I am completely against drug use (I even try to stay away from pain killers unless I really need them due to my horrid back problems) Though I completely respect someones choice to do as they wish and never look down on them for it.
7. I am uber short. 5"1' But I play the cute card when I goof up, so I don't mind. :P
8. I enjoy working out, especially DDRing (I'm pretty good at it). Although I really miss pole vaulting from high school and wish to take that up again.

Summer is Ending Soon...
Posted 16 years agoHello all! Now that my computer is back I have been catching up on commissions, which is a nice feeling. :) Summer is coming close to an end, which also means my summer sales will be ending soon as well. The last day to get a commission for the sale price is to order before August 23rd. After that all my commission offers are back to their usual prices until next summer. I will have sales throughout the year, so keep an eye out. I may do a random 5$ icon sale or something out of no where just for funsies. But yes, if you want to claim a slot now note me because I can only take so many more commissions and the sales are ending soon.
In other somewhat related news, my 3 summer classes are also coming close to an end. I'll have some fun random art stuff from my 'drawing at the field museum' class to show you all. :) All of my classes end August 7th. Which means the 2 weeks following I'll be working on commissions nonstop.
Lastly, I think i'll be doing a Ustream night either Friday or Sat evening. I'll post a new journal once I decide. I will be working on an icon commission and Xalex's epic commission. :P

Posted 16 years agoI have my computer all back! It's super fast again, yay! I needed a new hardrive so I still need to get all my stuff transferred from the external hardrive onto my computer. Most things work so I hopefully can even get back to ustreaming and working on digital commissions again! Yay!
I also should get a nice pretty laptop soon that'll be twice as fast as my computer now. that's for school use mainly, but I'm still excited. Then I can do digital art over at Dana's house for once. :P or ustream nights over there! ohhh the possibilities!
ok...sleep time now, gotta get up at 5:45 am for my Friday class....ugh... I'll have to scan in my mantis when I finish him tomorrow. :P

More Technical Difficulties
Posted 16 years agoWelp my computer is sick again, this time it had to be taken away so that way my dad's friend can fix it. UGH..... well just so you all know, I'm borrowing a laptop from him so I can still o online and do my online homework for my summer class. However, I don't have any of my programs installed or photoshop or even my scanner. so the likely hood of me putting art up soon is slim. I'm still working on commissions though. I'm coloring kibuki's right now and resketching maximeph's tomorrow. My dad's friend it should be fixed by next week, so please please bear with me everyone....... *le sigh* -.-
I'm Back!!
Posted 16 years agoHey everyone! I've returned safe and sound from Florida, and for once I'm actually a little bit tan. I'm not as pasty white any more. lololol I've got some great photos to share with everyone once I get all settled back into my normal, busy everyday self. Also, I'll be getting back to commissions and answering notes once I catch up on some homework assignments that are due early this coming week. I'll update this journal as well once I get caught up on everything. I have to say, as much as I enjoyed the trip it is good to be home. :D
Update 6-15-09 Vacation News
Posted 16 years agoGone Until June 27th: I'll miss you all! :)Decided to do a little update, but not start a new entry. I finally got around to donating the 30$ to EARS yesterday. If people want to see screen shots for proof I do have them. Again thank you so much everyone who helped out with the fund raiser it was a surprising sucess and Dana and I believe we will do something like this again in the future. :)
Second round on news, many of you already know if you have been listening to my ustreams lately that I am going to Florida from June 20th - 27th. I will not have access to the internet during this time period, just so you all know if you try to get a hold of my during that week I will not be able to answer. Despite that I am on vacation, I do plan to work on commissions. So no worries I won't be slacking off too much. XD If anyone has questions for me, you have until Friday to ask since I'll be leaving early Saturday morning. I'm uber mega excited!!!

Back from acen, now back to work
Posted 16 years agoHad a lot of fun. I'm super tired though since I pulled an all nighter when already tired from the night prior. Sorry if anyone missed me from that panal I said I was going to be at. It was just too crowded and they were kicking people out since we couldn't stand in the isles. I hope everyone who went to ACEN as well had a great time. Hopefully I'll be able to get a table next year.
Also, I'm finished with all my art classes for this semester so I'm opening up commissions again!

At the moment I'm still figuring out everything and I need a bit more ram so my computer doesn't lag, but it should still be fun! :) I'll try to post on this journal when I'll be live, so you can say hi. For now, I won't have any scheduled dates until I get everything figured out. :P You can also ask me questions about whatever since I have a microphone, but I don't have a webcam at the moment, so streaming my desktop is all I can do. Purchasing one was on my to do list anyway...

Posted 17 years agoI hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday and New Year. I've been busy the past few weeks trying to see everyone before the next semester started as well as a few other activities. Dana iowncharles and I went on Jan 10 to see De/vision and Seabound in Chicago for their 'Alliance' tour. It was an amazing show and so much fun! It was also her birthday that weekend, so go wish her a very belated happy birthday. :D
Classes have already, and I'm really excited to dive into my art classes. I have watercolor 2 with the same professor I had last time and I have Intermediate Illustration 1 with another great professor. Now that I passed my review, I get to do completely color projects (pretty much all in acrylic or gouache) so I'm looking forward to see what I come up with. :)

just so everyone knows, I will be on a camping trip from now until Sunday. So if you can't get a hold of me, that is why. I'm planning on working on my art trades that I owe. I'm also going river rafting on Sat which will be exciting! I just hope the impending storms won't cancel our trip. :( Take care everyone!
