Aye.. got back from me trip, only to hear we've lost SpottedSqueak. Very unfortunate and sudden, especially after Dragoneer- and I wish the best for their friends and family alike.
Definitely one of the first artists that drew me into these interests, and their art's been so phenomenal over the years.

I've been considering opening up my comms to more public eye. They have been 'friends only' for a while now, but lately none of my friends have the funds- or interest, I won't judge. However, there's a hurdle involved, and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, or what options I have regarding open commissions.

There's some things I just don't want to draw, and won't have any fun doing so.

I know that's a simple thing, but my brain is far less simple and it often refuses tasks it does not enjoy. Should I do YCH's with species and/or gender limits? Should I do Patreon work and draw what I please? Do I bite the bullet and take the comms as they come until I've established myself further as an artist? Any feedback is appreciated, I'm still very new to the scene of taking commissions and don't want to back myself into a wall.

Just passed 200 watchers- that's like, more than 100. Twice as many, I think.
Almost doubled my Views and Favs since my last journal, too- from 2928 views up to 4325, 1489 favs to 2386!

I'm quite astonished at the way things are headed, lads and lassies. With the approach of 2000 views, 1000 favs, 100 watchers, and the onset of having two pages of artwork- I thought it would be nice to do a little something in return! I'm thinking along the lines of a free art raffle; maybe a mawshot, or a fullbody comm.. perhaps finding yourself in the nautical-proto's jaws~?

I've received the gift of a Wacom One Drawing Tablet, and have installed it along with Krita!
No longer shall I draw upon my phone, with a thick stylus or my thumb, on a cracked screen protector that messes with my lines!

In other words, expect more refined artwork from here on!
