Yet another big artist exposed for making cub/pedo porn.....
Posted 2 years agoA big furry artist known for their blue spotted dalmatian or whatever has been discovered making cub/pedo porn. They got their twitter account suspended for it as well. And all the degenerates who support that kind of shit because "it isn't real" and "doesn't hurt anyone" have come out of the wood works. One even explicitly told me that they find that kind of "art" hot, seemingly in an attempt to vex me.
Oh, but the art was drawn years ago (apparently) and it's only art/fictional so that makes it OK... to a disturbing number of people...

Muse log: Lemur Goblins
Posted 2 years agoSome rough notes on a setting I'm developing.
Lantrei is an exoplanet that's tidally locked to its star. It has a surprisingly large habitable area on the sun-ward side due to the its star being small and (relatively) cool, the absence of stellar activity, and the absence of intense UV radiation from the star. It is roughly the same mass as earth, and orbits the star in roughly 28.5 days. Time is recorded in Terra years due to convenience and due to its long historical use. Days are still 24 hours, with 12 hours of daytime and 12 hours of nighttime. Houses simply shutter and dim certain lights to create the 'night' for their inhabitants.
Due to it being tidally locked, Lantrei has four distinct climatic zones as shown below.

The planet has been inhabited by humans, and uplifted animals called chimeras. There are two main subspecies of chimera, the Khet (named after Project Khet which created them) and the Lemurs (also called goblins due to their appearance). Both were derived from the same 'base' genome pattern and can interbreed.
The chimerae have acquired their own lands as a result of not wanting to be forced to assimilate to human society and wanting their own place in the world. Unfortunately most to the island-continent that was eventually given up to them is not desirable. While you could argue that this is malice on the part of the humans, the simple truth is that no-one willingly gives up prime lands for another people. History has proven this time and time again.
The Khet and Lemurs have shown a strong desire for social structure and both have gone onto form their own official territories. The land originally belonged to the Prosperity Corporation, but after the they wen't bankrupt and the workers/shareholders were left holding the bags the left wing government of Varensen assumed control of the land. It then moved the former workers of Prosperity Corp onto better lands and gave the now uninhabited lands to the Khet and the Lemurs. The Khet quickly spread out over their new lands, often taking over areas where the Lemurs already lived. Things were relatively peaceful for a couple of years, but when the Khet tried to take the Lemur city of Draka (the former regional headquarters of Prosperity Corp and the most advanced city on the island-continent) the Lemurs fought back and begun raiding the Khet for prisoners and slaves.
The Khet responded by trying to cut off each Lemur settlement from one another, raiding the Lemurs in a tit-for-tat cycle of violence, and forming alliances with Oracle Technologies in return for modern equipment and weapons. The Lemurs sought aid from AeroG Investment and Terra Nova Corp, who supplied them with small arms, light body armour, military advice, and medical aid and care. In return the megacorps got access to the Khet prisoners/slaves markets, mining rights, and the right to document the Lemur culture and wars for academic purposes using body cameras and drones.
Both species of chimerae are well onto the way to developing a 'primitive' civilisation. Most of their territories are very hierarchical and pack-like.
Other assorted notes:
Because the exoplanet is tidally locked, what we think of as north, south, east, and west becomes meaningless. Instead, you have Sunward (towards the light), Shadeward (towards the 'dark side' of the exomoon), Sun-left (the direction of the sun rise), and Sun-right (where the sun sets). This would also make Sun-left and Sun-right the most important part of navigation for the exoplanet's inhabitants. And as the habitable zone is a band that circumnavigates the planets surface, maps would need to be drawn differently. I'm leaning towards the idea of maps being shaped like a 'top rocker' - see below.

As the exoplanet is tidally locked, there are no tides for all practical purposes. The tides that they gets are really small - less than a centimetre at best! This has led to the inhabitants referring to something really insignificant as a far-tide. Far-tide can also be used to indicate how unlikely something is, as in "less likely than a far-tide" or "there will be a far-tide before that happens!"
