Well... it's a bit bittersweet to be honest. I've graduated from undergrad as of last saturday and now I'm working until I start my Ph.D. work in august. It feels weird to be honest. I have found a place to live in Durham though, so that's good and it gives me a yard to take care of.

I found out last night that i have been accepted to the neurobiology Ph.D program at Duke University in durham, NC. I will most likely accept this offer. After having completed all my interviews this was the place that had the most cons and which excited me the most. Cornell, who i have yet to hear back from was absolutely beautiful, but I dont know if i can see myself working happily in the lbs there for 5-6 years. I will post when i have accepted the offer.

So looks like things are going smooth so far, finishing up finals so i can take my last semester in undergrad. The best news from today was that I received a call from one of the graduate schools i applied to, UVA, and they are asking me to come for an interview! I have my fingers crossed that soon i'll hear back from the other schools about whether or not they would like me to come there as well... i'm started to get really excited and really anxious at the same time. There's an 80% chance that i won't be in NC after July of 2015 and I'm really trying to come to terms with that, in a very slow manner.

I'm awake, it's 2:50 in the morning and yesterday was terrible. I ended up cutting myself twice with a pressure washer, argued with my mom for a bit and fell asleep at around 8 last night and now I cant seem to go back to sleep... Have to finish an essay and project tomorrow, whic I really dont want to do, but the quicker it gets done the better. Graduation is on june 11th and i'm ready as hell to get out of wilson, NC and over to Raleigh, NC so I can finally start my first semester at NCSU. Time feels like it is goin sooooooo slow!!! Good thing is that I did get my roommate assignment! This is going to be a very interesting year, starting very soon. This pup is gonna try and get some sleep now, buuuuut I doubt it's gonna happen. X3

As many notice, i don't really post that many journal's but i believe this one is something I should write... At the moment i'm getting ready for exams that will be next week and then my final semester of high school will be underway before I get to go to NC State for college.

So many have had to live with these specters hanging over us - help us make the hate stop. Love should never be wrong.

Went to the doctor sunday because i couldn't swallow things very well. They did a blood test and a throat swab. The swab came back negative so that means I don't have strep... Since it's so early on we really don't know what it is, but the doctor believes it to be mono so on friday we're going back to urgent care and having a mono spot test done. This is complete hell... I can't breathe through my nose, swallowing burns like fire, and yes there are white spots on my tonsils... I have checked. I've already had symptoms for a week now, so hopefully my throat will start getting better soon :/

We got a puppy!!!! It's only 9 weeks old, but he's getting big. ^^

Well well! That was a very "fun" movie... I can't say i didn't like it, but oh my god the camera was horrible!!!

I'd have to give it an 85/100 so a low B i believe nothing wrong with that.

OK so about the Camera... shaky shaky shaky shaky! it started making me sick and I don't usually get sick watching movies, and I've seen Alice and Avatar, I'll review Alice soon. Still I understand the use of the camera shakiness. It was suppose to be all the explosions, and all the bumpy roads, i mean it's war.

the actual movie itself was enjoyable and i think it went by pretty fast. Like most of Matt Damon's movies, the borne movies, they kind of jump around, cause some confusion, and center around government, conspiracy blah blah blah. This is no different; it jumps from place to place, while keeping to a story line, sure keeping names straight was a tough thing to do, especially when trying to figure out who "identifies" as Magellan. It all centers around who caused the Iraq war, was it truth or was it all a hoax that started the search for the weapons of mass destruction(WMDs). This movie is anti-war propaganda in a nutshell...

Still I liked the movie, wasn't exactly what I expected and may have had a couple of cliche moments, but none the less all around good movie, there won't be a second, of course, and this doesn't need a second movie. I can't say how it ends, but I really did love the ending greatly! It brought me a sense of satisfaction.

Also it takes place in 2003 and Bush is President.

I've decided that I'm going to start writing reviews of the movies I go to see... these will be long, or at least detailed, without giving anything away as to the true nature of the movies that are out.

Shutter Island on a scale of 100 I'd have to give it a well... between an 80 and an 85.

It was an amazing movie that starts out telling that one of the patients has just "vanished" from her room. It completely jumps around, from one thing to the other. Sometimes it was really hard to tell whether or not the main actor was dreaming or was still in reality. None-the-less it was a perfect blend of psychosis and suspense. It wasn't really much of a horror film, but it did make me feel a bit fearful at points, just little parts where the people were just utterly creepy and so secretive that no one understood what the truth was. The movie itself is truth, well in a sense of the word. It utters the monotony of life and the ever unknowing of the people "outside the walls." It spoke of an insanity that prevailed in many parts of the human brain. The complete unwillingness of humans to understand right from wrong.

Leonardo DiCaprio was actually really good in this movie, and i must agree that him and the actress who played his wife fit perfectly together. She was the stubborn knife in his back that seemed to drive him insane throughout the movie, telling him to let her go but not letting him...

For what it's worth this movie was very original, but reallllllly long! Although the movie was really good it was too drawn out. The plot was everywhere and sometimes it was a confusing mess, but it did fit together in the end.

I do recommend seeing this movie if you still have the chance. If you don't mind sitting for a while then go for it! The twists and turns are amazing and the movie will continually keep you guessing.
