hey there. a few of you may have been wondering why I haven't mean as active as I was over the summer.

Over the fall semester I had a really rough time with classes. I had a ton of pressure on me to do well in areas I am not typically very good in.

In top of that I was in two car accidents over the semester. I was hit by a woman who ran a red light and then rear-ended into a busy road by someone who wasn't paying attention. Luckily I wasn't too badly hurt in either accident(though in the first one I could have easily lost my legs or been paralyzed). I need to paint my car a different color or something or big red letters on the back of my car that say "DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME" because apparently people can't 'see' that car until it's too late. (Though that doesn't excuse that person running a red light and knocking me into a church).

At least this horrible stressful semester is over and done with.

I hope you all are having a pleasant holiday. I'm going to try and finish and mail out owed commissions to (that I wasn't able to finish because of the busy semester). Hopefully they will all reach you before Christmas/The New Year.

so school is nearly done so i figured i'd make this. i'll be taking on some commissions over the summer.

all my commissions are a flat rate

what was that? yes, you did read correctly! flat rate!

i charge by the hour. multiple characters will not cost you extra, nor will a background. you're paying me for my time no matter what it is that i'm doing.

my rates are 5$ per half hour of work. so basically the tier looks something like this--

$1 = 5 minutes of work
$5 = 30 minutes of work
$10 = 1 hour of work
$20 = 2 hours of work
$30 = three hours of work

and so on...

keep in mind that i can get more detail into small simple pieces than i can large pieces.

additional charges

there are no additional charges for the content of the image. however, there are additional charges for other reasons.

digital art - prices on digital art are double the price of a normal traditional picture. i don't really enjoy doing digital art. it's not fun for me to do. for any work done in digital media double cost of time spent. for digital work--

$2 = 5 minutes of work
10$ = 30 minutes of work
$20 = 1 hour of work
$40 = 2 hours of work
$60 = three hours of work

and so on...

special media - if you would like me to work with a certain material that I do not have in my possession you must front the cost of that material. for instance, the very large images(charcoal and inkwash) i do are typically on newsprint or very high quality paper. newsprint is easy to come by but the higher quality paper runs about $15 a sheet.

this also applies for special openings when i come across a material that i don't have the opportunity to work with often, though sales of this type will likely sell as an auction.

shipping

this one is simple. if you would like your image shipped to you you must pay the shipping fee.




i hope this is easy to understand! I am uploading some examples to me commission info page so check there for ideas. keep in mind that those are just ideas, feel free to browse my gallery! if there is something you like there's a good chance I can make something like that for you!


I LOVE trying new techniques and medias. I love working in very LARGE and very small formats(but not so much in-between).

i feel really guilty and get depressed whenever anyone i watch on here desperately needs money from commissions and i can't afford to get one from them.

hey there! i'm starting up school again come january. i have a super high workload art class and three other general classes. i'm afraid that due to this and my job i'm going to have to shut down commissions in that time. i won't really have time to open up large amounts of slots of any kind.

if you want are from me of ANY kind I suggest you try and get something before January.

spent a good day putting my desktop computer back together.

there was an awful burnt plastic smell coming from the graphics card but thankfully that appears to be working

the computer in general is working so much smoother now that it has the new PSU

okay so i wanted to get that horror story off my page

the psu is completely fried. we hope it's just that but we can't really know if it's anything else until i can get a new PSU.

i am going to have to put those trades on hold, as much as i'd love to do them with people.

i can only take on traditional media commissions at the moment, as the laptop i am using can do little above word processing. i may not be able to upload those said commissions until my computer gets new parts.

so i woke up this morning to the sound of a low pitched whining sound coming from my computer

i lay where i'm sleeping because sometimes the computer makes the noises while it's hibernating. the sound doesn't stop and i hear the sound of my computer powering up from its hibernation state. this is not unusual. sometimes updates trigger in hibernation and the computer restarts.

but after it shuts down i hear this clicking noise. this is when i actually sit up and stare at my machine. i get up and i try to turn the compuer back on.

nothing. just the clicking noise filtering through the speakers

unplug everything to make sure it's not still on somehow or something.

wait fifteen minutes. plug it all back in.

clicking resumes but quieter

it's then i notice the burning smell coming from the case.

i open up the case and there's the same burning smell
