I am grateful to claim that Ive experience[d] (and find myself addicted to) Love-
....though, after all that inspiring, intoxicating, and motivational confidence I knew then,
I now find myself enduring (what feels like) an indefinite uphill path to recovery;
granted, only after multiple excruciatingly toxic and repeated betrayals....

I would compare my experience of Love to alcohol poisoning-
except, Ive mastered the art of eventually waking up after a few 1.75s-
ready to start drinking that next bottle.
No!
This resentment and aversion to intimate attatchment is more like waking up to minimal life support-
after every single organ has failed;
as if it were a "miracle" only claimed by the religious-
a perverse"second chance"....
"rewarded" to me daily by God.

Question for Artists vs Commission
Posted 11 years agoIve ordered art- large project pieces- containing Vixx and a no longer appropriate partner.
Due to some circumstances Im not willing to publicly disclose; I would beg to request a partial refund/cancellation, or one of my other female characters to fill in his place.
As an artist- how would you advise or appreciate a commissioner handling this situation? Should I try discussing options or should I just leave the subject alone and let them finish anyway.

Artists who are now ignoring check ins and notes requesting refunds.
I understand life happens.
But dont take my fking money and use it to buy yourself something-
Then never respond to me again.
If Im still in que, just say so.
But dont tell me im in que and take new projects and finish them first.
Im not the kind of person who complains or btches impatiently.
Its been several months.
If youre doing other work and still taking more-
and I still have no update/wip?
Its nasty and bad business.
Im going to post names this week.
But im going to give a day or two for these artists to respond to my inquiries first.
Im sending each of them another note with the response to payment receipt.
If by Wednesday I dont have responses, ARTIST-BEWARE is going to suddenly gain 10 more asshats.
Artists who are now ignoring check ins and notes requesting refunds.
I understand life happens.
But dont take my fking money and use it to buy yourself something-
Then never respond to me again.
If Im still in que, just say so.

Bad Thursday
Posted 11 years agoMy wallet was stolen from me Thursday night- with it were all of my critical items like ID, ATM, and Credit cards.
My bank account has already been emptied and the bank cannot do anything to replace the money because the atm card was used to do it. I filed a police report, but the process is slow going.
I am also in the process of freezing the credit card, but its still the weekend and no one can help me until tomorrow.
I always pay for work up front when provided the paypal info to specifically insure for this type of situation...
************, I need your paypal address within the next 12-24 hours so I can pay you before all accounts are frozen. I will send this again in a note.
It may be some time before any of this is resolved.

So Im in the gray area between lonely and antisocial.
Anyway....

Posted 11 years agoAn elderly family member passed this afternoon.
Because I'm the only person in my family who doesn't stop functioning to grieve most passings, I will be in charge of making the appropriate preparations.
I may or may not be around this week.
