You know what would be a nice feature for FA to add? Folders for Favorite galleries, or a way to organize/re-organize favorites that doesn't require unfaving and re-faving them. Or at least a "Featured Favorite", like how there's a featured journal or Featured submission I believe.

Watching a video on the recent Fallout 76 Wastelanders update makes me

1, regret getting rid of the game last summer when I had a physical copy on PS4, (didn't have anyone to really play it with personally which, combined with the bad stuff I kept hearing, made me lose interest and just...drop it.

2, Want to get it for PS4/PC if/when it goes on sale.

Thing is, even with these human NPCs, storylines, and such added on...I would still rather get it again, IF I have someone to play it with.

Since he's never done many commissions in the past, he and I talked it over and figured the pricing rate he'd go for, (this is with coloring, and maybe shading), is as follows

$10 USD per character, $5 USD for background

After a recent...split-up I felt was a little necessary with a friend of mine, give us some time to better ourselves and maybe heal before things got worse and our memories/images of the other would be tarnished by negative qualities...

I...feel a little down now, since I recently started considering that friend of mine a mommy-fur, (originally a daddy-fur but then a mommy-fur for a number of reasons).

I will point out It is NOT the mommy-fur listed on my profile page that was the issue, (she and I don't talk much but I have nothing against her and in the end would still think of her as a mommy if she asked).
But I guess since I loved having an active mommy and daddy at the same time, losing the one...is leaving me feeling incomplete.

And yes I know how odd this may come from someone who is more known as a daddy/caretaker in the crinkle-butt community but even daddies, (or mommies)...need their daddies and mommies.

Not exactly sure what to say that I'm looking for except maybe a somewhat consistent presence, (doesn't have to be schedule-like just keep up to date with me if possible), and of course loving and caring....mmmaybe a willingness to be babied by your own puppy but I'll leave that as optional/unnecessary. (Daddy and I sometimes take turns babying each other to say the least).

I know I made, and scrapped, a journal like this but...given a recent incident with another artist, (not going into details vastly), whose work and world I was invested in and almost got to interact in via a forum...I'm feeling, not necessarily hollow, (I feel better after emotionally getting over it yesterday actually though it may take more time to mentally get over it, there's a difference), but...like I need something to replace it. A world or lore I can get invested in, and interact with the creator and/or fans of it through role-play or OOC.

Does anyone have any suggestions whether they are a part of said fandom or not? They do not need to be centered around a particular...fetish or interest I would say. Bear in mind I'm already reading Shine by  BabyStar and Regressive Tendencies by  Kammypup where the lore I was about to delve into had a bit of...eh...militaristic/base-ops/r&d, (Idk how to summarize its branches as one unit really), hierarchy in addition to the characters present, so maybe something like that.

Or it could just be an rp forum with that sort of system, (in addition to more civilian things to do beyond militaristic work, since even privates or generals need some R&R chances.

To summarize the incident in an emotional sense. Imagine being at the gates of an area you could get lost in, explore and you've seen such wondrous things about and shortly after stepping forth into it...you get booted and branded in a sense by the creator for accidentally missing the trash can so to speak.

In other words, so close to enjoying something, allowed in, and kicked out before you could truly enjoy it, leaving you feeling like you not only missed out but...are missing something, mildly longing to make up for that booting.

Just as a heads up, today I'll be flying to spend time with my puppy/fur-daughter,  bestsage from today until the evening of Sunday 15th, and then on Tuesday night, (July 17th), a foreign friend will be flying over and spending a few days at my place until on Saturday, (21st), we drive basically over to Ohio to spend nearly a week with our Ohioan friend, but I myself will be heading back home on Thursday the 26th.

While I admit, I am currently watching this film via a streaming site of sorts, (yesmovie), which I highly suggest you use with adblocker on your browser if you go to the site at all. I feel that this movie deserves to be publicly promoted, as publicly as possible. I believe I first saw this movie on YouTube perhaps, if not Netflix maybe a year or so ago.

"Mary and Max" Though set during the decades prior to widespread Internet use, I feel it is a perfect story befitting of many of us in today's times...who have few to no friends in our limited, personal lives...but find friends, even if they are on the polar end of the planet to us, through long-distance messaging, which in the film's case is the postal service but in our case, (for many of us but probably not for long perhaps), is the Internet.

The final part of the movie, is...phenomenal I will say. The only thing I will say about the movie directly, is quote the following two lines.

"We don't get to choose our warts, they are a part of us, and we have to live with them. We can however, choose our friends, and i am glad I have chosen you."
"You are my Best friend. You are my...only friend."

If not for the story or possible message behind it all, you can take awe in another work of stop-motion animation art.

Just minutes ago my mom and I saw a community theater's onstage performance of "It's a Wonderful Life" adapted directly from the famous Christmas movie.
I only first saw the movie just "Last Christmas" and enjoyed it.

But during the play, part of me came to a possible idea/realization and I KNOW this is gonna sound rather...egotistical of me but...I think to an extent I'm a bit like George Bailey. Often trying to look out for others before himself, (except those who are obviously and maliciously curmudgeons who only care about themselves), sometimes to a rather risky degree, but it doesn't bother him much...until things for him could get really nerve-racking. ^^;

But that quote from Clarence at the end. "Remember, no man is a failure who has friends". I may have just recently got a part-time job, have had a crappy school education most of my life, and am having a bit of trouble in college...but given all the friends and fur-family I have, (online or not), I am far from a failure. If only society saw it that success was measured by friendship rather than position...

As shown on my profile information, I have a small fur family, of my brother, wife, and our baby birdie.

Thing is...part of me kinda wants a mommy/caretaker as well in the fur family. (Yes I know I'm a babysitter myself but even us caretakers could use a little bit of...puppy time in my case or someone who could treat us like a puppy....perhaps without the need for regression.)
I would perhaps say a possible minimum, (you can note me even if you don't have it), is that you have a Skype.

So if anyone is offering, note me with your fursona's or mommy OC's information.

Edit: Admittedly I'm a little uncertain about this. I do want one but...I guess I'm holding myself back.

Considering how boring this summer is feeling, (I have like...what? 4 events planned, two of which already happened and were fun to an extent), and I'm going back to college in late August)....and not one location I'm applying for has been hiring me for part-time job, (never had a paying job before)...I frankly want something to do.

So, for perhaps one-two people per every 1-2 weeks, I'd be willing to do an art trade...OR...to be fair to those who don't draw, a request image.

...yeah, I think I might do that. 1-2 requests, and an art trade as optional. If you want an example of what I can do, look at the two images for  BabyStar in my gallery. (I'm no digital artist and am far from an expert obviously so don't expect a background).

I will leave a few advisory things based on more...private images I've done or my work overall:

-Nothing too complicated
-Don't ask for a character whose clothing will be the same color as their fur or an object if involved, (like black-on-black but that's maybe the only one that doesn't work)
-Nothing dirty/filthy...except maybe a diaper but don't expect like a hyper mess I suppose. (Seriously though, nothing adult/mature. That one image in my gallery of a canine threesome was made by a friend).

Those are the only rules I can think of at the moment. Also, if it's alright with you, instead of giving me a full idea...you could maybe give me your character, (with a ref/link if you want a specific character), and...give me a theme or general idea.

So...if anyone wants a free request, (which will likely be just a sketch not entirely colored by my guess since there will be a second one for sure), please comment below. I will say, to be somewhat fair...especially considering the time I post this journal, I might NOT do a first come, first serve set up. Instead, perhaps an RNG, (random number Generator). I will use the RNG...Monday night, maybe...6-8pm EST. And if nobody's left a comment by then, I'll give it another day.

I'm thinking of buying Jackbox Party Pack 2, off of Steam, which...due to the STEAM SUMMER SALE, is at about $8.74 USD. and I have more than enough for it, (just under twice the amount needed). BUT...I want to be certain about something.

Jackbox games are digital games, best played during A stream, so as to allow the max amount of people to enjoy the fun, (and the rooms/sessions tend to be "private" whether you like it or not).

What I want to be certain of is that there will be folks that will join me in the sessions of the games, when I announce them, (folks that may be interested in trying the games).

The games are as follows:

Fibbage 2: A prompt is given with a blank space, and every player has to put in a lie that is believable in short. You get points by fooling others or selecting the right answer in the end.

Quiplash XL: two prompts per round are given to two random players and they give an answer to the prompt that can be realistic or just plain ridiculous. The other players, (and the audience that doesn't fit into the room as named players), get to vote on which answer is better.

Bidiots: Far as I recall from the sessions I've seen or been in; you create a piece of artwork, given a prompt, (each player does), and the players have a limited amount of money to auction on the works of art in short. You can either break even, lose money, or make a profit based on the value of the art.

Earwax: Each player is given a selection of audio cues/noises, and a prompt is given to all. all of the players but one have to select two noises that, in the proper sequence, either make sense with the prompt or, like Quiplash, are perhaps plain ridiculous. The remaining player decides which one fits best.


Your thoughts?

First off I've already finished the story and no I do NOT have the DLC titled "The Following", BUT...if anyone who reads this has Dying Light for XBOX ONE, and just wants to clamber and climb about like urban monkeys, (cause parkour), killing zombies and just having fun, please comment or send me a note.

The open window for if the game happens, (as in i may only prefer playing this game with others today, rather than alone), will be...maybe an hour.

Edit: BUT since it's so early....and I doubt the chances of many folks on here having Xbox One, I'll have the window/interval during which I may want to play the game with others, (cooperatively), open for a few hours. but I will not start over due to all the skills I've acquired.

And don't worry, to ensure no invasions from random players; the session will be Private. All I ask is that at least ONE person joins.

Edit: In all honesty, I feel like I just made this journal to perhaps...idk passive-aggressively blow off steam perhaps, (a weak flow of steam though.) I'm well aware of how I try to make other furs feel better or comfortable, through RPs or just talking but...it's at times like the details listed below that I, now realize...while I am a main source of comfort for multiple furs, (big and small)...I barely have anyone myself that I can go to for consoling when I feel down or insecure. Far as I know it's only one person...my big baby brother, Rison. (Shown on my profile page). So...I'm not sure how many furs or folks I personally know will see this but I just want you to know...if I've ever been impatient or...hurt your feelings in any way...I'm sorry.

Passion, drive...personal motivation. I would say just f*ck it all.

Like my new personal quote, (shown on my profile mentions), sometimes being passionate will lead to your enthusiasm bringing forth a moment of ruin, or others just not giving a sh!t about how much you want to do to something, they'll just take a dump all over it.

The latter has happened to me...oh so many more times than the former.

Particularly when trying to audition for a play, (3 individual plays at that in the past few years). 1st was an Agatha Christie play, (simply because I wanted to do some acting), and at least in that case the reason I wasn't picked was because age or appearance. The 2nd and 3rd were plays I REALLY wanted to be a part of, (Sweeney Todd, {my favorite musical from the stage}, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest which I read between this Christmas and this February as research for the play), but F*CK no...I don't get picked for any of them.

Then of course there's the BS you get in college with certain teachers, in my case math class. Had to take Pre-Calculus TWICE, even though online homework and online quizzes were A's and B's, the TEACHER kept giving me D's, F's, and C's on exams...when I was at least expecting a C or B. (I need a C, or ..70/100, to pass and count as credit towards my degree). I just had finals this Tuesday, and frankly I won't be surprised if that BITCH gives me anything less than what I need, (a B or about 80 or 85 out of 100), to pass the class and the credit counted...granted I do NOT need to take that class anyway if I fail AGAIN.

As for the former...well, let's just say my motivation or enthusiasm in certain rps has led to me being...impatient at times, whether seemingly impatient or very impatient, thus...causing the rp to end abruptly because nobody likes dealing with someone who lacks sufficient patience.

Oh yeah, here's another part of that, other folks not giving a sh!t about your passion, that might come true this year. I applied for at least two jobs BOTH in walking distance, (part-time jobs for summer), one at a vet clinic which I WANT to work at cause if I get my degree I want to work with animals at a good zoo so a vet clinic is a start, and the other is a snow-cone joint. What I won't be surprised by is....throughout summer, they, not once offer me a position at the vet clinic no matter what, nor does the snow-cone joint.

Just came back from watching Zootopia and frankly I see why it's such a great film. My only issue would be that, despite its name....all I see are mammals, (land mammals that is). Granted I get why reptiles and amphibians wouldn't work, *coughs* POISON/VENOM *coughs* but birds could certainly work...to an extent. Namely flightless birds...maybe, (flamingos, ostriches, penguins, emus, kiwis, chickens, turkeys, etc).

The way I see it, while Inside Out was marvelous at artistically depicting the on-goings of one's psyche or mental/emotional status during a particular effective event in most of our lives, Zootopia nicely represented society in some nations...far as I'm aware, America's society in particular.

Rating? Two thum-....err....four paws up, out of four paws. (I don't remember seeing any monkeys or primates in the film so no thumbs. )

Quite frankly, while I do have Lupus, (a German Shepherd whose name means wolf in Latin), as my fursona I feel perhaps...out of mammals only, the animal I would probably be in Zootopia, (or in general), is maybe a Lion or even a wolf...or, considering the past of a certain character....Vulpes vulpes, (Red Fox).

P.S. I know I'm gonna be downloading that song from the film when I get the chance.

Rocket League is coming to Xbox One on February 17th and I intend to buy it, (far as I know it's digital so at $20 USD).

If anyone else plans on getting it for that console, do tell me, (I also have a few other multiplayer games for that console, including GTA V, that would be fun to play with friends or folks I know.)

For those of you who don't know what Rocket League is. Take soccer, (or even Hockey), but use Rocket-powered...RC cars that can fly if done right, instead of humans. More intense or least fun than regular hockey/soccer imo. (Sorry Europe, Canada, and promoters or fans of those sports; just my opinion).
