It has been some time since I confided in this place as far as feelings and work, including commissions, goes, so here I go-
Things have been a (beautiful)storm, and my judgement hasn't always been up to scratch.
I didn't always notice when someone cared about me. I forgot some of the things that I needed. And more trivially, I took on commissions when I wasn't in a position to finish them in a timely manner. But it's getting better! I'm remembering.
Finally, I'm beginning to pull myself together a little, and hope to make some good headway on my extremely overdue commissions soon! Those waiting for art: you are angels, there really isn't any way for me to thank you sufficiently for your patience.
On a more positive note, I am still loving the work I have now, making some really true friends and learning loads, even if it's hard work, and I'm forced to face some fears. Although, that's probably a good thing. I've always been a little fragile. Time to be braver, thicker skinned, more patient! I've started to read more books, and I think it's making me better.
I know this last year has been a huge and alien one full of change, and I expect this coming year to be just as exciting and foreign. Perhaps it will be quite alot longer than I thought before I become capable to taking big commissions regularly.
I'm going to be brave, stay curious, and do my best to be kind.
Things'll fall into place, I'm sure.
I just wish the poor clients here waiting for my work didn't have to be the ones to have to wait while I figure myself out in this time.

Hello all!
This week was my first week working in freshwater-ecology,
and as I am now living at my workplace, my art situation has changed too.
It is a fascinating area of study, and having the opportunity to take part
in so many different research projects is wonderful.
However, as I am working a somewhat relentlessly full time, and especially now
at the beginning, while I am still learning, It's taking alot out of me.
Unfortunately, this means that I often find myself
devoid of creative energy (and time) at the end of the day.
Hopefully, as I integrate more into the position, I'll become more free and productive again,
but for now, I'll have to announce that my working speed for artwork will be
drastically slowed for the next few weeks, if not longer.
Also, I'd really like to fully appreciate and take in all that this job is offering me,
including meeting the people I'm living at the institute with, and the scientific practices involved.
I'm overjoyed to have this place, and want to make the most of it. :)
And hopefully, art will fit back into my routine soon.
Of course, artwork that is owed will be completed as soon as possible!

I am back from my adventure, and what a wonderful
trip it was. It truly was artistically and scientifically exceptional.
I'll just let everyone know that I am deeply inspired,
and that we can expect heaps of landscape art, including YCHs. :)

Everythign is coming allong well for me.

So, I've come back.
Some new events that will continue
for the next two years are taking up a
large portion of my life, so I probably won't be as

I feel a little like I've been rotting lately.
