I must call upon furry wisdom.
1) How does one ensure that a started book is finished? Any tips to avoid loosing track/getting bored?
2) Why is fizzy water always so much fizzier feeling after eating icecream?

The Life of a Pen

It's funny how much my fountain pen has changed this year. :)
It started as a hand-me-down, in perfect condition, taking long cartridges.
Then the hilt snapped, and I replaced the end with a pencil.
Soon after, I decided that that wasn't a great idea because
I drew on myself with ink while using the pencil. So scrap that.
So, drawing with a open-ended pen for a few months.
Decided to give it a rechargeable cartridge, but it was leaky. So, no.
Varnished the handle so it looked less mutilated.
After a while, I glued a glass ball to the end. Now it looked lovely.
But, oh no, glue got into the body of the pen and had stuck the cartridge
to the wall. Bad. After lots of pulling, it comes out. The inside is plastered with glue,
hardly usable. Now, I spend 2 days hollowing out an antler, dissecting the pen,
until finally the antler is a new hilt to the pen,
but now it takes small cartridges.

Could have bought a new one cheap all along.
But now it really is mine. :)
And and have no idea how long the antler will last.

Pure Plant Pigment

Recently, I had the thought:
"Plants are green. I want to use that!"
As a child, I often mashed up leaves
to make fake-o magic potions with friends,
So I can remember that Dock Leaf gives excellent juice.
Found leaves, ground them to a fine paste with a little hot water,
then strained for a surprisingly effective green, watery paint.
It works a little differently from watercolour in that going
over it again with water does not smudge a dry mark, and
it dries much more slowly. It finishes in a rather interesting texture too.
As soon as I have the chance, I'll post works painted from this medium.
I love it!

Regarding Winter and Weather

Man, the rain makes everything
so shiny and smooth.
If only there were a little ice too.
Ice is like water, but it doesn't move.
The clouds are blocking sun sets and rises.
Wind is messing with the shininess of the water
and making it rough.
Maybe I am just a little disappointed at the moment,
but I do look forward to a colder time.
Cold (like 14°F, -10°C), ice, clear sky, low-set sun, snow...
Actually, gales and fast moving clouds are beautiful too...

Pokemon Plans

Hello. :)
Since my copy of Ruby Omega should
be arriving soon, I've been making some little plans haha
I always do a thing where, at the first possible chance, I trade
my starter for a starter of my choice that I prepared in another game, so that I raise the pokémon
that I want in the team. I'll be exchanging treeco for Pawniard.
So a team plan would be:
*Bisharp
Altaria
Ninetails
Milotic
Aggron
Gardevoir
It feels a bit weird having two
steel types when it isn't even an essential like Water of Fire haha
But I love them both so much.
God, I can't wait <3

Music Exams are over!

Es ist vollbracht.
My god.
Contrabass exam. (grade 5)
Went well generally.
Diminished 7th starting on E sounded wrong,
but I've never played G major so in tune <3
Pieces were great.
Even sightreading was terrific
I am overjoyed AAA
Such freedom now.
I'll post artwork from the past week now.
However, as the SD of my camera isn't mounting,
photos might not be of highest quality haha
May have to clean the port out.

Now Diogenes, thoroughly pissed, is
sitting, almost asleep in the empty barrel.
His overweight friend Alex sees him and

But Diogenes don't give no shit.
