I was talking with my and it got on to the topic of characters and their identities. For me, there's no secret that I've had a plethora of different characters and each one has had it's various focal point in my life.

With Samirah, she came into a time when I was just starting to truly feel emotionally damaged, Samirah is the emotionally charged and more 'hurt' sort of character. She is more quick to put up walls, to defend herself, to truly shut down and look internally. Since meeting Matt, I know I haven't drawn anything with her in it. Probably longer than that actually. But, thats okay. I don't hurt for not having her, if that makes sense. She has her place and had her time, and now I no longer hurt, I don't 'need' the haven she was.

With Lily, she surfaced right as I was leaving Ryan. I was attempting to find a relationship with a guy I'd met (we're great friends now! but the relationship aspect never grew.) and Lily has always represented happiness, playfulness, the general goal of energy and joy. She was me, looking for happiness, trying to recover and grow. And while she does get a lot of 'show time' I feel it's more balanced because I AM happy. I'm not LOOKING for happy.

For Fatin, she has always been stable and steady. She is full of me, and I of her, she personifies my soul and all of the things that make me up. For Fatin, she has never 'left' but she has had her time of not being the front and the showcase, but I always 'come back' to her. She is my whole and my center, even though it's not like she's a different person than me. I just do refer to her as her own being and entity for various reasons.

It's so funny how it all ties in together, and just really makes me feel like the folks I've selected to be in my life are there for a reason. It's the same as these 'identities' even if they aren't 'in use' presently. Samirah will never 'not' be with me, but for all the time I do not feel the 'need' for her, I appreciate it.

I know that it seems like so many times I'm just whining or posting about nothing.

But, I'm just at peace. I am content, because not only do I and my mate's lives seem to be on the correct path - we've gotten a venue, I've selected my wedding dress....still haven't quite mustered the courage needed to ask my bridesmaid to be my Maid of Honor, but that's another thing all together XD I'm happy! All my girls are great and there has been something magically about sharing the experience of building this wedding with them.

But more than that....it's jsut so good that the two people I've grown the closest with, and more importantly, grown with outright, are as equally happy as I am just settles me in ways that I can't put into words. and have been like the sisters I so desperately needed in my life, helping to guide me and make sure that they provided not only the stable ground for me to take comfort in, but the shelter against the many storms that overcame me. They have made me laugh when I needed it most, provided sound advice and wisdom beyond what I could see myself, and never once gave up the faith that I would find the right way. They both also went through relationships similar to mine, were blinded to faults that others could see, and ultimately, grew smart enough to realize what love for them meant and what it needed to be.

Recently, and my dear friend got engaged, and I genuinely couldn't be happier for them (wait, that's kinda a lie, I'd have been happier to be there celebrating too! ;D ) and I am so full of joy and love for them. They complete and compliment one another and it's clear to anyone around that they are meant to be. Their love has not always been easy, and has been tested by distance and time, but proved that what's real is real no matter the troubles it faces. Seeing them and spending time in the glow of their happiness honestly made it so much easier for me to not lose faith and to see that it was out there - I just had to keep my head up. I love them both dearly, and am so very happy for them to join us in the fun chaos that is wedding planning XD

On top of that, though, my darling and her beau are celebrating their first anniversary in just a few short weeks and it's been so wonderful seeing someone so clearly deserving of Autie's love and someone who lavishes her in the same sort of happiness she readily gives to others! I haven't been fortunate enough to meet Razor personally, but everything I've seen of him is a devoted, kind hearted person - those sharp fangs and claws aside ;) I'm just so full of happiness knowing that everyone is finally on the path we should be, that it's all falling into place for us, and that without any shred of doubt or worry we are all finally happy.

It's been a long time coming! But, enough mush, I'm going back to snuggling with my silly lemur <3

Guys this isn't hard... details mean: colors, sizes, video game system (for any video games you want), quantity, etc.

--> Contact info... you need to leave SOMETHING in order for your "Santa" to either contact you with or send your wish to you.

--> Detail these guidelines in your post. Don't just plop up your wishes and hope for the best. Try to spread the love around and get as many people "in-the-know" as possible.

--> Surf around to see who has posted their list. Remember this can be a friend, a family member, or even a random stranger. And now, for the whole point of this thing...

--> If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Even if you can't buy something for someone.... that nice and clean pair of the Tripp pants you don't wear might just be on someone's list. Or maybe your Aunt raises German Shepherd pups and you come across a list looking for a G-Shep pup. Or maybe you are an artist who can help someone create character details for a newcomer to the fandom. The possibilities are endless.

--> The point is not to break your bank or put yourself out. It's about spreading happiness and doing something special for people without expecting anything in return.

OK, so, I had my wisdom teeth out last Wednesday. That was honestly no problem! I wasn't in pain really, I was sore yeah, but not really in pain. By Friday I'd gotten a light cough and that was irritating my mouth. The more I coughed the more it hurt.

At some point Friday I woke up, drenched in sweat, running a fever. By Monday at about 2AM it spiked at 105.1. It dropped to 102 for the rest of the day, and today its gone, still coughing up stuff and it's gross. I'm still pretty miserable at the moment, but at least the fevers been gone a couple days!

On a small equally shitty note, I missed to many consecutive days of work with all this health crap, and now am hunting again. I'm screwed this month bull wise and I've drained my bank account for the wisdom teeth surgery and so.. Stressing. Yeah, stressing lol.

So, I'm getting my wisdom teef yanked out, so if I'm not around for awhile or if I send you loopy stuff, my apologies in advance!

I've been feeling down the past few days...hell, weeks really. It's probably been since I accepted we couldn't go to AC and thus, were missing out on seeing my sisters and getting the whole gang together again. It was going to be the first time that all of us were together in nearly three years, and it was going to be a chance for us to introduce the boys to each other and just really get to enjoy ourselves.

But, the past few days have been magically uplifting, I dunno. Somehow it almost feels like renewing my bonds with the people I love, kinda like how I imagined the trip would go. It's silly, because they weren't weak by any means, but, having them still be stronger is always a blessing and it makes all my other frustrations smaller. Knowing that I've got people at my side supporting me, caring for me, and making my life better just means a lot.

Okay, I stop mush now! :)

I feel like I'm losing it. Like lately, I am just drifting. Not thriving, just slowly making my way along without a purpose or inspiration.

I think a large part of my problem is I'm just feeling so detached because it's easier than being miserable. I hate being at home when Evan's here because he has ZERO consideration for others or appreciation for the fact that we provide the roof over his head, his condescending behavior and words give the impression he doesn't care of get it.

I'm feeling lonely, but purposely so, because in my own misery I have such a desire to make others equally miserable. It's my least favorite trait about myself. People are like 'Oh! go hang out or do this!' I do not want to. I'm a curl up with a select few, let the storms rage, and then go about and recover.

I'm just feeling like I'm lost, drifting, and barely staying afloat.
