Whats been going on.. well
no longer in the USAF was seperatated due to cutbacks as of january so well now getting use to being a civilian again.

working out in the bakken oil feilds of north dakota as a generator tech.

and well .. planning on attending RMFC and MWFF this year hopefully will have the 1959 wagon running for one of them..

yep thats bout it.

It was a long con for me i took a few days on each side of it to prep or sleep prior to con. that and it was my first time driving from North dakota to Chicago with a fullly loaded lil subaru

This con was the biggest emotional rollercoaster i have ever experienced.. From ovewhelming joy and laughs to soul crushing tears, pain, anger, and frustration.

I arrived at the con tuesday mostly due to wanting to get there early get settled in and slowly spool up to the convention was glad i did becasuse for me everything got rolling the next day. this was was also the day i Found out about the passing of a very close fur freind and co runner of the magic city furs  Feral~Rignasty you will be missed so much and i realy wish you could of been there to enjoy it. needless to say this kinda shatterd my mood for that day.

Wednesday. though not a official con day by any means you could feel the buzz in the air that the con was getting ready to start. so it was a good time for me to sprint down to the local market and make a beer and food run thank gods i did.. ate alot of ornages apples fresh fruit to stave off any con crud. by that night the con had with a good 40 suiters running around me included even though it hadn't officialy started yet. WOOOOO!

Thursday more suiting mostly as Divitus my green wolf i have blast running around in him and i brought blu to this con to though he didnt get as much wear. also was good to meet all my furs and freinds from the UK again. I really need to get back there. then well then that night happend.. OH MY GODZ  Midori8 and her husband  denimwizard showed up and i got my new plush suit.. Im still excited about this. So after a stuffing and a fitting i was running around as the large purple Mammoth its a mammoth by the way or Mammooof! not a elephant or huffelump or whatever.

Friday.. oh well wake up early get a new suit drying fan because i think the sight of my mammoof suit caused my old one to die horriably. luckly there is a hardware store near by.. and well that morning more breakfastat then suiting and later watching the Dance prelims. and suiting and running around all plush while my inner squee meter was going off the charts. also meeting Cosmic wolf off and on through out the con was great.

Saturday A lot of fursuiting and speed conversations with furs and freinds i havent seen in some time.

Saturday night Yeah that dam thing(chemical incident) this just sucked.. had just gotten out of Sodak and was making a last lap around the con floors when we were told to evacuated luckly i had decided to put on some hevyer clothing here i met up with J Badger and Majik a fellow plush suiter who we had to help a bit to move walk over to the hilton where he was then designated as emergency plush pillow.. thanks btw.. This incident had my mind all frazzeld as i was suddenly reliving all my millitary CBRN training ie Chemical Biological Radiation and Nuclear atack training so i was on edge the whole night.. trying to rest but also scanning the Hall and ballroom for any sighns of trouble.. This event kinda pissed me off i come to furry cons to distnatce my self from my time in the millitary or normal grind also to put the 3 tours to the middle east behind me. Then of all the places i have to deal with that crap is at a con like this.. Needless to say im still a bit pissed and agitated about the whole mess.

Sunday was odd day. Due to the night before i was wide awake at 0700 in the morning.. people were still staggering about but the whole conspace was a ghost town I decided to jump into Sodak and walk around at that time hugging all the sleep deprived and still shocked furs i could see. they needed it I needed it. after that it was a mix of naps a final trip to the dealers den Dance comp Suiting and then closing events. Sunday night was a quieter con night than most .. I did my best to suit up and walk about but i was still kinda out of it from the night prior.

Monday suited again as Div this time.. walked around that morning seeing off furs i knew and giving out fursuit hugs for one last time.. then most of that day i slept late monday night hung out with Cosmic Wolf ate chineese food then went back to bed.

Drove home tuesday… cried tuesday recalling that Rignasty had passed away and i missed her funerall.. the drive back was rough trying to come to closure over her passing .. processing the saturday night incident.. looking forward to enjoying my plush suit.. needless to say there were a few rest area stops that i just sat in my car and cried for a bit before composing myself for the next part of the trip.. also on the way back found out i got a job interview in denver for working with BNSF i realy realy hope this works out for me.

Sadly there were alot of furs i didnt get to spend alot of time with.. on the flip side there were others that i saw all the time..

Overall best and only con i attended this year due to my earlier deployment.

Have fun, meet new people hang out with old freinds and furs i havent seen in a long time and well just have one helluva good time.. not shure ever when i will be able to go to these type of events.

Well lets see since I've been home mostly preping for when i become a civilian. this has been taking up most of my time. as i prepare for leaving the Aifroce after 9 years. they have been good but well time for a new adventure. so alot of job serching resume building, medical apointments, and other things involved with transition. Has my time in been good.. well its been a expereience and all and all It was a good one.

Classic cars. well i have got my 51 plymouth back on the road for a few more road trips before the weather turns south for the winter. Also i have bought another classic in witch i plan to drive to conventions and enjoy as my con cruiser. a 1959 pontiac safari wagon. so you will be seeing me spend some time restoring this to the condition i want.

Furcons.. I have a room and have reserved myself for MwFF 2014 this is the only con i will be attending this year. will see what the future holds once i get a new job for next years cons.

Ok so usualy around this time i would still be dancing away at the Dead Dog dance getting ready to leave denver the fallowing day to go back visit family and catch the last end of the Sturgis Rally… well.. not this year.

A fat ton of NOPE happend there.. so i spent this my first weekend home and trying on a new suit also earlier this week i spent a wonderfull evenining with  Midori8and  Denimwizard first furs i saw on my return from kuwait.. Also got good homecoming mexican food… mmm tasty. i left last the states last year to go to kuwait and just got back.. so yeah get ready to see something from theme soon big and purple.

so yeah no RMFC14 for me but MwFF is still a go.

I have so missed you all i am still sad that i wont be attending RMFC this year and most of my con plans have been axed due to other millitary aspects as well. I fell into this whole force shaping thing and well I will find out in August if my Ticket gets punched.. if so It will be Mr Divitus after january and a happy 9 year tenure in the airforce will come to a close. Im not upset about it i had a good run and with all things as such, they come to a end and its a new adventure that awaits. Sadly i wont be making MwFF this year due to a impending deployment.. yep another 6 months in the sandbox for me but it is what it is. Besides its a good opertunity to restock the Coffers and i will be back in time for RMFC next year.

Wow it was a wirwind affair again this year and another great con. I started my venture down there a few days early to spend some time with my brother were we did some work on his 1973 datsun 510 pickup then it was down for the rest of my trip to RMFC the subie was doing great through all of this.

Arivied around 3ish on thursda and ran right into Busa and many of the other New mexico furs that i had hung out with last year. Aslo saw SnapE and Deathjingle and many others
thrusday was early check in food suit up derp around a bit.

Friday was the GOH coctail party where i had a chance to sit with blondy and ruby from DHC and talk to Midori8 about suits and sutff had a great time there also more suiting and shinannigans also ended up having dinner that night with Kenidi and others later at IHOP mmm baccon.

Saturday was parade and adult fursuit charades.. and me always ending up on the dance floor in flipflops.. i missed the dance comp this year due to Supper patron steak dinner.. mmm soo tasty but why did the butter have to look like candy. >.<

sunday was the last day more suiting and such and mellowing out afer saturday night partying with Boltfan and some others in a room 6 rum and creamsodas beer and whatnots.. so sunday was slow also had a good phto shoot with Starlet and her awesome honda and the NM furs like busa and tweeko and many others... that night livend up with the last deaddog dance and chilling with Therealuribabe and others .. more dancing with Lakensteeljaw of black light studios and such..

monday pack up my crap roll out stop by antique mall by a old training bomb and other oddites for steampumk projects. then get noms at Ralibertos .. then survive the drive back to rapid.

tuesday.. chill at house smoke hookah at shop get wrenching on datsun 510 5 hours of polishing work on engine bay stuff mounting mirrors.

wednersday went up into the black hills chilled out derped around in the water went to sturgis and deadwood for dinner.

thursday spent the full day in Sturgis.. got some shiney wolf rings and such. drank lots of beer saw lots of bikes.

yeahh.. i just went there.

Well yeah been bitten by the bug for another suit. why becuase for the past few years i've watend to add another fullsuit to my colection. mainly so i can rotate between the two and not burn one out. besides Div is me and my main suit so i realy want to get as much milage out of him as possible. So over the past few weeks ive debaited getting my mammoth redone or bringing a new character to light. well the rabbit won.
sodakmak my mammoth is well for suiting purpose out of the suit makers out there only 2 that do the style of suit i want and well one is no longer making suits.. so yeah he's still on the back burner for a 2.0 remake as for Sour jack.. alot more posiblitites arise when it comes to the toonyish style of suits i like. so now its getting the atwork hammerd out and finding suit makers open that can get him done by RMFC or MFF..
will see what happens. and on another milestone note.. I've been suiting now for just over 10 years.. dam..

Sofar this weekend has been long exhausting full of car problems for me and my roomate and being utterly tired.
friday night came home to find my roomate having car issues flat tire freezing cold and such had to change that out on the side of the road. yeay fun. then run into town to pick up another freind and .. well weekend roomate. he for the most part lives at my house on the weekends. due to gaming and well his own place is a crap hole..the person he is renting a room from.. well is not the most tidey of folk.
Staturday was spent with most of my day Under the gun. tattoo gun that is and finaly getting my blender tattoo done. Yes yes folks i have a evil blender tattooed on my back. and why? becasuse i can. after sitting under and going for a one shot session of tattooed pain. i come out to find my car's battery has no cold cranking amps the temp outside was a balmy -5 degrees and falling. so well after atleast 2 hours of trying to jump it crank it get it to turn over.. nothing had to spend 200 bucks on a battery. up here there is no going for the cheep option. not when there are below zero temps blizzards and miles of empty country roads to drive. so 200 bucks and a optima red top later my car is running again. sigh. also had to replace my pizza cooking stone that broke friday night.. wasn't happy bout that so yeah.its sunday now. Still got game to go on so im sitting here chilling by the fire watching roomate play through Mass effect 3 on hardcore. and not much else. I need another day to this weekend. sigh.
