so here's what i did for new years
i woke up at about 9AM yesterday and headed to Troy's house (owner of SP Sounds) to help load the rest of the trailer for the new years eve party in Mobile, AL. we did that and dropped off the first rental and went to pick up the stage, lemme tell yall bout this shit, there's 8 carpeted panels and 2 sound wings all of which are 8' X 4' and weigh about 150Lbs each, so at 1PM we headed to Mobile.

this is where the fun begins...
we get there at like 2PM and sit there for like 30 minutes before we're shown where to park and stuff
then we walk in a realize the stage placement is about 50 yards away from the atrium that leads outside where the van is, so it took me and Brian about 2 and a half hours to bring each panel in 1 by 1 (btw this is a 4 person job) and get it set up, THEN we worked a few more hours to get the 16' truss up, lights hung, run cables, sound check the band

party ends at 1AM and we start tearing down
it's 3AM and we start packing the stage back, again 1 by 1

we leave at ~5:30AM and Brian gets a headache so we hit the rest stop and snooze for a half hour

got back home at like 7:30AM today, slept till 3PM where i then get ready for a 5 hour work day

BUT I GOT ENOUGH MONEY FOR MY FWA ROOOOOMMMMMMM :3
now if only i can get my parents to let me go so i can go and still be able to live at home =^_^=
