General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, I really really really would like to get a commission or two of my new fursona, depending on what I can get for like $20. The artist I want to get would be one that can do avians and mpreg well, or just avians. See, Deej Runner is going to inherit like... everything about my old fursona that I liked, including the ability to get pregnant, get vored without repercussions and just basic avian features. And one of the first things I want out of the gate, is a picture of him like 3 months along and being blargh from the eggs causing some ickness in his body, including big time cravings. x3
So yeah, suggestions for a good artist would be highly, HIGHLY appreciated. c:

Recipe: Breakfast Pizza

Cookie sheet (I think it's like 20 x 9 that I used)
Bisquick
Sausage (either spicy, mild or maple)
Mozzarella cheese (you can get away with a small bag)
and your choice of either tomato sauce or no sauce.
Directions:
Fix up your bisquick as if you were making biscuit dough. Roll out and then spread in the cookie sheet (protip: make sure it's greased!) Then add yer toppings! I used maple sausage with a little bit of red pepper flakes for mine. :3 And finally, cheese it up and pop in the oven for 10 minutes at 350.
Check it often! It might burn if you're not vigilant! This is /biscuit/ dough, after all, not pizza dough! D:
Pull out once the cheese is melted and golden brown, making sure the sausage is cooked. (if it's brown, go to town. if it's pink, back up and rethink x: ) And that's about it!
If you're not inclined to use tomato sauce, might I suggest a splash of olive oil and garlic powder? Helps make the crust a bit crunchier. :D

The bad thing is, it was very... lucid, I guess you'd say. That is, pain felt like pain, emotions felt like emotions, and everything was believably real.
So, it starts out simply enough, waking up to start a new day. Then everything starts to get really weird. It starts out with my pancakes (yes, I eat in m' dreams) being covered in blood. Like... the really thick black blood that you see from monsters. And yet by following dream logic, I brush it off and walk outside.
The sky is literally black, yet the sun is still out and shining, and everyone's going around with blank stares and even blanker eyes. Literally, no pupils or irises or anything. Completely white. Again, logic takes a backseat as I move over to an alleyway for whatever god-forsaken reason.
Bones crunching and flesh ripping is all I hear for a while, then I come face to face with a rather... gruesome creature. Think 'Them' mixed with 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' mixed with Van Helsing's werewolf, and you'll get about what I saw. Quite scary. Updates! Plans! STUFF!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, as far as updates go, not much. Going to get my money for the PS2 tomorrow or Saturday, then it's going to 
Bazz for a kick-ass laptop. After that, I should be more of a presence on all my contacts, plus IRC. As far as writing goes... eh, don't expect too much at first, inspiration is few and far between recently. But hey, something'll eventually happen!
As far as plans, I really hope to polish off DJ's story and start giving little hints as to the future... LICA will hopefully come back in full swing, as will Tale of Driphec! Driphec's gonna get edited up a /lot/ so don't worry too much about it just being the same first three chapters, then new content. All new content right from page 1.
As for little side projects... how about a visual recipe guide? I can't do complete video/audio just yet, but I like to think I'm a decent cook! So hopefully I'll have some pictures up of some of my favorite recipes, plus how you make them.
And of course the Let's Plays... Ah, I honestly dunno when I'll get around to those. The microphone I got from walmart wonked out on me (I paid 6 bucks, it was expected) so I dunno. x:
Anyway, hope to come back in full force come next week! Probably with a PSP and Final Fantasy 1 to occupy my time.

I'm going to be getting completely rid of my PS2 and games (except for Legend of Dragoon and the PS1 memory card!) and they're getting sold at a community yard sale. Hopefully by the end of tomorrow, I'll be 150 bucks richer, depending on how much gets sold.

I don't care at this point. D: Hell, I'll even take the stuff I need in exchange for the stuff you want.

Possibly Moving
General | Posted 15 years agoEither mid July - early August, my happy little bum is moving away from Mississippi. I'll be following my sister and her husband, living with them while I slowly get on my feet. :V
So this means that here in the next week or so, I'll be taking commissions or selling some crap to get some funds for going around. It's weird, but I actually feel good about this. :3 Like I'm finally about to do something with my time. So who knows. x3 I might be closer to some of you guys, especially since it seems the end destination is South Dakota. |>
Anyway, just giving a brief glimpse of why I'm not around on IRC or IM. :V EVERYTHING IS FINE. NOTHING IS RUINED.

General | Posted 15 years agoOkay okay okay. Most of you who know me, know I've hated on the PSP for quite some time. Mostly due to it having an unprotected screen, protruding face buttons, awkward device for gaming, blah blah blah.
My question is, how worth it would it be for me to pick up a used PSP for just Final Fantasy 8 (as my interests are at this point)? Totally worth it, not worth it at /all/? Maybe, if I want to have it?

Start up my Let's Plays. Starting on June 3rd, I'll start recording my very first one, with posting starting up on the 5th, so I have time to convert the videos, add commentary, and everything else in between.
The first of these grand adventures? Pokemon: TCG for the Game Boy Color!
Here's how this is going to work:
For the first few battles of the game, I'll be using the Charmander and Friends deck, just to give me early access to the Charmander line. However, after a few videos (and maybe a few clubs!), a card grind of destiny will happen. The result? 3 different decks, each designed for different purposes. The decks are:
Free'd Waters
Stomping Dragonite
and Modified Haymaker
Free'd Waters main evolutionary line will be Butterfree, with some assistance from Vaporeon
Stomping Dragonite will hold Dragonite and Alakazam/Gengar as its.
And modified Haymaker will have Hitmonchan, Scyther and Charmander's line.
And as a bonus, near the end of the game, I'll let folks decide another deck that I'll use for one of the final battles. It's planned to be at least 30 parts long (so about 5 hours total length) with each video showing off one of the many trainers you can fight.
And at the end, as a bonus, I'll find and fight the elusive Imakuni. :3

Second off: That means I won't be online that much. I'll pop in IRC once to get all my Op, hop, admin and owner status cleared up, then it's off to the grand la-la land for me. That also means getting my IM business cleared up.
Third: I'm... probably not going to be that active until I get a laptop for my own. Once in a while, I'll come in and grab some favorites, respond to comments... but for now? I'm going to focus on getting a new job and a fresh start before I come back.
What's that mean for me? Well... going to go on hiatus. Probably until at least mid-June. Sorry to be doing this to you guys, but... well... it's needing doing, and I gotta take care of business.
You're all great, and I'll miss everyone for the next month or so, some of you especially much. Hope to see you all again sooner than later. :D

General | Posted 15 years agoSo, it was a problem with the RAM. Apparently, a stray circuit fried out one of the memory sticks. With that replaced, everything's back to normal and the circuit is fixed. :V
