General | Posted 12 years agoAnd now I'm combating songwriter's block again. Another family bullshitslide. I... I dunno. I'm almost about to give up. I don't want to, knowing I have people counting on me. I'm trying my best to hold back the tears. I battle the darkness of who I used to be every day. I don't know how much longer I can hold on. It just keeps getting worse. I'm trying my best to hold it off, but I can't tell if I'm winning. Maybe I need professional help... maybe I don't... all I do know is that I do need help. Please tell me if there's something wrong with me. It just seems I feel like I'm dying inside. Almost everything hurts, not physically though. Again, I'm sorry, I'm trying everything I can to do these things for you, but it seems every time I get close to grasping an idea, it escapes. And... when I do get an idea, it seems just too stupid to continue with it. I'm just... I dunno... I wouldn't be surprised if you guys never trusted me again. I'm just in terrible pain... and I want it to stop. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if you all withdrew your slots and left.

General | Posted 12 years agoFor all those people who have chiptune slots, those have now been upgraded to ANY slots. So, that means, choose either chiptune-y or techno.
Second of all, these slots include 15-minute songs and free usage rights (so long as you attribute the songs to me if you use them in flashes or videos!) Also, I just got a HUGE sample pack from a friend that I made on twitter, DJ Zentura! So, I feel as if I died and went to "heaven" (I don't believe in it personally but to those who do, more power to you.) Seriously. Like... *MANSQUEE~!* A professional DJ taking his/her time to send me their samples? I am genuinely humbled. And most importantly: I need to make them count.

General | Posted 12 years agoOkay so my room has been getting cool enough for me to actually produce music again. Still running under a bit of a damper for creative spirit but at least I can get back to producing music.

General | Posted 12 years agoGreat, as if things weren't bad enough with all these personal issues, it seems my air conditioner for my room is on the fritz. I don't know what's wrong with it. I turn it on but it doesn't get cold and instead freezes up. I dunno what to do. That air conditioner is my life support on hot days. Now I can't even sleep because of how hot my room gets. I had to stay up till 4AM in the morning before my room cooled enough to tolerate sleeping in it. I've scrubbed the radiator with a scrub brush (I've done no damage to it thus far.) and it still doesn't work. Unfortunately this puts all of my song requests/giveaways on hold until I can fix it because I can't run my PC under major strain without possibly overheating it.
What's even worse is that my mom expects me to replace it because supposedly I broke it.

General | Posted 12 years agoI believe I owe everyone an apology. I'm sorry that songs commissioned/given still remain unfulfilled. Currently I am going through some major issues at home. My father going to college doesn't help as it cuts my PC access time in half. My mother has threatened to kick me out several times in the past because I do not have a current form of employment. And the way that my mother has been acting lately has put a severe damper on my creative spirit. Occasionally I get the mere flicker of inspiration, but it doesn't last long, shot down by the pessimist that I have become under the current situation. I dunno if I'm suffering clinical depression or what... I just... Open the programs... And nothing comes... Like I've lost my ability to create the sounds that I loved so much. I don't know what to dream anymore... I tried my hand at electronics... I still have problems... I've tried dabbling in art... That didn't work out so well either... I tried music... It was working for a while... But then the music died. I'm seriously reaching out for help right now. Right now, I just feel like I'm doomed to fail... I fight against ADHD, my mother's incessant degradation and criticism, as well as my more recent "stormy cloud over my head" spells. I'm trying so damn hard to fill these slots and have happy friends... "Simple task" mom would say. "Simple task" my footpaw.

I like what I do and if people are going to keep doing this, then I may close up shop permanently here and move to another site where I am respected. Sorry, but I am close to the end of my rope and not having a very merry christmas right now. I am not in the damn mood to deal with bullies on my fucking account.
For those of you who are my REAL friends (you know who you are,) I want you to know that I am greatful to know such good people and that I will never forget you if I am forced to move. I will probably migrate to sofurry in the event of a migration.

General | Posted 13 years agoAs it did this morning. The dogs chewed up our PS3 controller, so I will not be on my PC for the next three weeks. I will have to upload any new songs and stuff from my TABLET during those three weeks.
Okay, here's what happened... PS3 controller was on the table next to the TV. Dogs knocked controller off table... then proceeded to grab it and chew on it. We found it on the back porch, as one of the dogs dutifully brought it back. Mom officially told me I owed her $50. I told her I can get another SIXAXIS (or a lookalike) for $30. She officially changed it to $30. That's where I stand right now.
I have $14 toward my current debt. I need $16 more for replacement controller.
anyone that wants to help me out can take a song commission or donate. *sigh*

General | Posted 13 years agoNow that I have SwishLITE I can now make SWF players for my music. They will, however, play only once with a manual reset. I will make all my future music submissions this way so as they can NOT be downloaded unless you click a link within the SWF itself, this is to make my life easier and host all my music tracks on ONE site.

SOPA and PIPA are both bills designed to give big business the right to censor the web at the expense of the common person. I am actively protesting these bills today along with everyone else.

General | Posted 14 years agoI take music commissions via email, at my site, or through DA, and now I take commissions... ON FA!
Here's the laydown:
I'm actually going to do a rate.
Full songs cost $1 per minute of length, and length is ALWAYS ROUNDED UP, meaning 4:20 is rounded to 5 minutes and therefore $5, and are free for download until they get integrated into an album.
Midi songs cost $0.25 per minute of length, and length is ALWAYS ROUNDED DOWN, meaning 4:20 is rounded down to 4 minutes and therefore $1, but are free for download.
Midis submitted to me of existing songs will be remastered for free.
