That's right! Tulsa finally gets its first furry hotel convention! Tails and Tornadoes Fur Con (FA: TailsandTornadoesFurcon)will be hosted on labor day weekend (Aug 30-Sept 1) at the Southern Hills Marriott in Tulsa (on 71st and Lewis).

Our guests of honor will be Stormi the Folf (fursuiter/YouTuber) and Citrinelle (fursuiter/artist).

We will have lots of things to do. The great thing about our location is that there are also plenty of local food options, and FREE parking!!!

Hotel rate starts at $109/night. We are running a special on pre-reg attendee as well until January 31st, so head over to TailsandTornadoes.org today and get your name on our list and reserve your hotel room! We will fill up fast!

Fursuit Dance at TFF is at 10;30pm in the Crystal Ballroom (main stage) on Saturday!!!!

This morning, Texas Furry Fiesta confirmed their DJ schedule for 2016.

Looks like I'll be playing the FURSUIT DANCE!!! It's on Saturday starting around 10ish!!

So I got some new feetpaws for Koori this week! They are really comfy. These are made out of house shoes and have extra lining on the inside to make them super soft. I'd say they're more comfortable than most shoes lol.


BTW it snowed here.. Perfect fursuit weather if you'd ask me. ;)

Tokyo in Tulsa (which is held every summer) also is holding a special Christmas party this Saturday at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Tulsa. Parking is FREE (just go to the check-in desk for validation). Admission is only $10. Proceeds go to charity. The event is from 7-10pm I believe, and fursuits/cosplay is encouraged. ;)

Thanksgiving Furbowl is back! Come hang out with all your local fur-ends in Tulsa! Event starts at 6. If you want to bowl, you must wear bowling shoes.

Oklacon.com posted yesterday that due to the issues that arose from an incident last year pre-con at the Roman Nose State Park in Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State Tourism and Parks board has banned Oklacon from entry to Sequoyah State Park and any other state park in the future. This was not the fault of the Oklacon staff. It was a select few individuals who chose to participate in public sexual intercourse at a main campsite last year, which was immediately reported to the rangers by Oklacon staff. However, someone filed a complaint with the board this year just a few weeks ago that caused park management at Sequoyah to consider Oklacon too much of a liability. This is utter bs. I think there is some sterotyping, some hate, and some lies going on here.

Ultimately, Oklacon is dead. I'm sure other cons will rise from this but it's just a major speed bump in Oklahoma to lose one of our outdoor conventions.

It cracks me up when uneducated people automatically stereotype you by what they heard on the Internet or on TV when it comes to being a furry. No, I don't screw animals and no, I don't have sex in fursuit... With that said, humans are animals too so this negative topic is really pointless. I'm happily engaged to my fiancé and we are normal people. We just like to pretend to be characters that we created... smh

OK so I'm going to attempt to make this a digigrade suit.. I've done the DTD, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around how I'm going to get the fur measured out properly without screwing this up. I only get one shot at it.. Any tips?

This is one that I had recently commissioned. However, because of the shape of my head and my vision, he's hard to wear. It however does work fine for other folks that are used to tearduct vision. I'm also going to be focused on building Koori instead, so I need the funds for that.

I asked my girlfriend on Saturday if she'd marry me... She said YES. Did it in front of the fountain at TFF's hotel. Shout out to  hotcoffee: and  vanishing.act for helping make it happen. I'll post some pics later. We are gonna wait a bit before we set a wedding date (gonna soak up the engaged phase a bit haha).

I'm slowly transitioning to an all-blue head rather than having the white on the muzzle. My new mask will be a semi-realistic version, so the feel will be different. The thing I'm not too excited about is the vision, so I may end up wearing my 1.0 head most of the time since it has better circulation. Ughhhh

I already have Wild Nights lined up this year but I am still hopeful for a fill-in spot at TFF. I had sent in a demo months ago, but just learned that some bigger, well-known DJ's got most of the big slots. I've been told that I still may have a shot to play a little bit... Even if I don't get the big stage, I still have plans to spin at DJ Shasta's room party... Maybe volunteer to run AV for a bit. I know last year was my first convention ever, so I didn't really get to volunteer much because I was busy the entire time trying to find my way around the con. This year, I'm read to make a difference.. Being in the fandom has really changed my life.. It has made me come out of my shell and reach new heights. I'm ready for TFF... My mate is DEFINITELY ready for TFF (for oblivious reasons haha). BIG things will happen at TFF. 100% guaranteed. ;)

Hey guys and gals,

If anyone in the Tulsa area wants to participate in a fur suiting event tonight, I am hosting a new gathering called "FURSUITS and CHRISTMAS LIGHTS" at the Rhema Bible College campus in Broken Arrow. As you guys know, they have a ton of lights and things to do in the campus park.

The event starts at 7pm. We will meet at the pedestrian bridge feature just to the west of the big church building. Many of us will be suiting but we will also need handlers to help out! Dress warm tonight, as it's gonna get chilly! If you have any Christmas themed accessories, you're encouraged to wear it (Santa hats, ugly sweaters, etc.)

We will most likely be there for about an hour. Afterwards, I'm considering taking a mob of furs to the local Walmart for some fun and to spread some holiday cheer. :)

I need help finding a suit maker that specializes in felines. I can't afford the $3000+ BCFC stuff, I'm trying to stay within the $1500 range for a full suit. My biggest concern is vision and ventilation. Anyone care to share references/links?
