Some of the minky fabric arrived yesterday. yay!
Now I'm just waiting on the orange for Rainbow Dash's mane and the light blue for her body.

Getting a bit worried about minky ordered in January...
The yellow for Spitfire still hasn't arrived and neither has the violet for Rarity's mane.
But things ordered after that have arrived...

so I have a naked Rarity here. She looks odd without her hair.

finished the octopus backpack...
tomorrow, will try and complete a Fluttershy plush and design Rarity's eyes.

Now I have to figure out how to turn it into a backpack and not just a big huggy toy :)

While I wait for pony fabrics to appear on the doorstep, (we have ninja parcel post) I'll get on with making a giant octupus. It's a commission piece inspired by the taratula backpack.

Am buying fabric for pony commissions.
Still looking for Rainbow Dash colours, as well as something for Twilight Sparkle's mane, Spitfire's mane and several other bits and pieced for other characters.
It takes three to four weeks for fabrics to arrive and there's no guarrentee the colours will be exactly what is needed. Reordering new colours can take extra time.

I've managed to make one Fluttershy, and a body for a Rarity.
Still working on a pattern for Rarity's horn and hair. Getting the curls to look right is going to be tricky.

weather is heating up so working with fuzzily fabrics is becoming a little uncomfortable.
Hoping to finish the backpack tomorrow, or at least complete most of it. Two more projects to go after that and then I might even get a break over christmas...

will probably make more ponies :)

Another Fluttershy is completed. The others just need manes and tails... except for the last one that needs everything.
Have to take a short break from ponies to make a dragon backpack.
Looking forward to making a Luna later next month.

Hit a slight wrinkle in my plans when I ran out of candy pink minky. The length they sent had a seam running down it. Grr!
Have ordered more and it should be here in a couple of weeks.
There's just enough to finish one more mane and tail...

Spent the entire evening sewing tiny little butterflies to pony butts.
tired now...

Fluttershy bodies almost done. One left to stuff and heads to be attached.
Tomorrow, wings, manes and tails. Cutie marks if there's enough time. Luckily Fluttershy has the simplest one. Not sure which one would be the most complex.
Next will be eyes. They're fiddly to make.
After ponies I'll be making a couple of backpacks and a hat...
Then I can do some more ponies.
