Sooo, lately...
Posted 8 years agoI've been with my current company for almost 9 months now, and I've decided I'm not home enough. Started looking for a closer driving job, and have one lined up hopefully. Need more time and money, pony swag doesn't buy itself.
And again one more into the breach...
Posted 9 years agoWell I finally got through training, and got assigned my truck! Kenworth T680, I'm pleased. So I'll see you all on the battlefield! Time to hit the trail.

Holy random update, Batmare!
Posted 9 years agoHaven't been on in oh just about forever. Just finishing up Whinny City convention, and I'm thinking I might have reasons to start checking in again.
now is the time for big blocks!
Posted 12 years agoSo I started the next phase of the project: a built 440 stroker motor to get the car really movin'. Honed 440 block bored .060 over, forged stroker crankshaft, eagle H-beam con rods, and forged Ross pistons. Mopar Purple Shaft cam .509 lift. Props to Maci and Axel for helping. Pics to follow.
Cuda: WIP
Posted 13 years agoAaand fuel leak sprung up at the pump. Tried to Macguyver up an adapter myself, didn't work. Guess I'm giving more money to summit racing, but a 6 dollar adapter seems like a small order, so what else should I buys? any suggestions?
Cuda: IT LIVES!
Posted 13 years agoIt starts. It runs. It drives down the road. It even stops and turns when you tell it to! I drove it down to a local furry bowling meetup to test it out saturday night. Lots of kudos on the car, you can't beat the raw charisma of old musclecars. Now she needs a bath. And some suspension work. And a TON of minor issues. Guess I'll keep working on it, maybe put the interior together and the back seat in again, hehe.
Cuda: The Rebeginnining
Posted 13 years agoWell, after several years of sitting and waiting for moneys, and several serious considerations of selling my old friend, I finally started working on the Cuda again. Replaced the coil and fuel pump, plug wires, re-timed the engine, charged the battery and now I'm glad to say the car is alive, albeit on life support. She starts, but doesn't stay running unless you keep pumping the pedal, so I'm thinking the carb needs a rebuild, ugh. Got all the parts, just a matter of pulling the ol' Edelbrock off and tearing it apart. Hopefully pics to come.
