What's the definition of insanity, Egon?

Inspired by many things that have happened around me in this fandom:
Get. over. yourself. Get over yourself. GET OVER YOURSELF. Thinking the world is out to get you is the definition of paranoia. Guess what, nobody is waiting to see if you fail. The world takes care of itself, and as long as my dear ones are happy, loved, and safe, I'm good, mang. In the grand scheme of my life, I just don't care enough about the rest of the bullshit. It doesn't reflect on me one way or t'other. If you grow, awesome! If not, welp, not my worry - I'm not going to lose any sleep at night either way.
I hate to break it to you, and I'm sure this is the last thing you want to hear, but sorry, you're just not that important in my timeline, and attention, absolution, friendship, whatever you're looking to attain from me, it's not about what I withhold or not, it's about what you find in yourself that's the most important thing to YOU and the biggest step in your own maturity. Not to me. There are many others more important to me. This is about all you rate: a journal entry in a fuzzy mostly-yiff site where the world stops for a few furs.
