Posted 9 years agoIs childish. If they feel unsafe on this website they honestly have every right to. All furaffinity has proven in this last week is that I wouldn't trust them if my life depended on it. Sure; it's not that serious. But after how many opportunities this website has come across to better its security system and improve the website as a whole FA has outwardly been at a stalemate for as long as I can remember and there is absolutely zero reason to defend this website for being down for the count for as long as it has been. Absolutely none. Websites with such a large community should be prepared for attacks and time and time again this website has been an open target for anyone to strike. Its just a shame it got this far and I hope this is a valuable lesson to the creator and the staff that this could have gone A LOT WORSE. Losing notes and comments and submissions is bad enough. People lost auctions and commission information- things some people make a living on.
So no, it's not something id blame anyone for feeling this is the last straw for. Frankly, I dont know where else id go if not for here but id be lying through my teeth if I said I wasnt looking for alternatives to this site right in this very moment just in case. I truly have no hope for improvement here and I guarantee another attack just like this will happen sooner or later. Hopefully I have an alternative by then. Because I think ive only got enough patience for just this one slip up. >>
If I see you hating on people for making the choice to leave, I dont think id like to associate with you further. It just proves youre petty, judging the personal choices of others. Even if they do come back its their choice to do so and you only look like an ass by trying to mock them or make them feel bad. When their personal information and passwords are at jeopardy, how is it unreasonable to consider abandoning ship? Its not. Grow up

Posted 9 years agoFuraffinity has proven to be sort of a disappointment on multiple occasions in terms of keeping it's security in check and after being down for more than 24 hours I have decided I'd rather people contact me anywhere BUT here so I don't lose notes and lose contact with artists I've commissioned or to my commissioners. I sincerely hope this is a valuable lesson to the staff and they hear the voices of those who are clearly not so happy with the downtime, loss of submissions, comments, followers, notes and more. It's very VERY disappointing and while they say the loss is minuscule I see most people have lost something along the way... =/

Leaving for Japan in 4 days; also fullbody commissions!

And in regards to my Japan trip, (casually copypastes from my TH and then copypastes on DA!)
I was waiting for a little bit before making an official announcement journal, but since the days are coming up fast, I wanted to make one proper! In 5 days I will be getting on the plane and taking off to Tokyo! My husband and I will be staying in Japan for a total of 3 months (Or just a little under if you want to be technical!) While my apartments in Japan have wifi and I have portable wifi (with limited data I won't be wasting much on social media websites) I will not have access through cellphone to the internet too often and my timezone difference will darastically differ. Since my current time zone is PST; California is 17 hours ahead of Japan (according to the internet I am not in the mood to do math :3c) ; making the east coast 14 hours behind Japan's time!
When contacting me regarding works I've commissioned, trades, commissions (my queue should be empty as of now! Please let me know if I owe anyone anything.) please keep in mind this difference and be patient with me! Also, please remember I will not be home most of the time I am in Japan, spending a lot of time traveling. Lots of early mornings and late nights ahead for sure! I will surely be checking my DeviantArt, Toyhouse and FurAffinity daily nonetheless but I'm on these websites pretty much constantly as of now so reaching me has not been a problem. Some people do know about my trip while others do not; so this is mostly to alert those who didn't know!
Please; if you would like to keep touch the best with me PM me for my Skype username as that's the best and fastest way to talk back and forth with me!

Posted 9 years agoYou would think that by now after FA was bought out by IMVU we'd have an option to switch usernames the way DA and TH lets you... and basically every other website now a days. Anyway, I am honestly kind of tired of being under this username. Not only does everyone have a hard time pronouncing it for some reason but also this is an account I've had since I was a teenager and I could be a whole lot more creative than this tbh haha.
Sometime in the not too immediate future, I'll be changing. To what, idk. I will be trying to crank out some more detailed pictures to upload to my new account to try and get some new followers who would get to know my newer art. If you'd be willing to follow me onto my new account to support me, that would mean the world to me. I know I was going to change accounts long ago but I chickened out with the fear that people would not follow me anymore...
Anyway, that's to be expected within the next 2 months or so. Maybe after I get back from Japan but most likely before then.

I get not everyone can physically maintain a job but there are resources out there FOR THAT REASON SPECIFICALLY.
DON'T ASK THE PUBLIC TO FUND SOMETHING THAT ISN'T NECESSARILY AN EMERGENCY?
The system was put in place for people who need the money. Not want it.
Don't use it to get funds for a fursuit.
Don't use it to get funds for a Playstation.
Don't use it to get funds to go see someone just cuz you want to

That's not what it's for. I've seen some posts that I was so sad didn't make its very minimum cap for things like a hurt and dying dog or someone needing a root canal but insurance is not something that can afford.
For people needing help getting out of abusive homes or for people who got into a car accident with no way to get to work with a totaled vehicle.
And yet for someone asking for money for a fursuit or for something equally as trivial gets more than it even should. You're asking people to put their money into something you want while others are waiting for money they NEED.
Consider that.

Today was super slow with chibis so far and I got close to nothing done because guess what....
SOMEONE REPOSTED ART OF MY FURSONA AND DIDN'T GET PERMISSION and that's basically stealing to me.
When confronted about it, they simply argued with me and told me to get off their backs then tried to play it off and act like they had a mental disability. I just simply asked them to take it down and they fought me for 10 minutes before complying, so I had to report them and update my TOS and that lead to one thing which lead to another and basically I'm just now starting the chibis. I'm sorry guys haha but I'm on it now! <3Thank you guys for reading~
