So i have about 25+ years of gaming experience behind me, i thought i would share some of my experiences, thoughts and fond memories with you all. So, can you guess what my first game entry is?

Why it's Fallout 3 of course, and one of the things i love? Liam Neeson dad.

From the get go, the game tries is hardest to get you to imprint to Liam Neeson dad and it works! In my first playthrough i set off the nuke in Megaton. Later in the game when i was reunited with Liam Neeson dad he confronted me about it, seeing through my pathetic attempts to deny all involvement. He never raises his voice, never gets angry. Just says how disappointed he is...

At this point i felt so bad that i deleted all my prior saves and started over, saving Megaton and reaping the praises from Liam Neeson dad.

Well done Bethesda, well done.

As a sidenote, i am really looking forward to Fallout 4!

What a movie, what a lovely movie!

I am really excited for this movie. The last time i felt this giddy was probably for Pacific Rim.

Fun little action flick. Standard hero who wants to redeem himself Vs. terrorist villains plot. Seemed to go by very quickly though. predictable ending.

rating: 7/10

Alternatives: Iron man 3, Die Hard 5.

So i caved in and got one of the new 40k flyers that were recently released.

the ork fighter. I must say, im rather impressed by it.

The set allows for 3 variants. An interceptor, fighter and a bomber. Bits can be mixed and matched to get a unique look. The bombs and missiles could easily be magnitised and the turrets will sit nicely in the slot so you could potentiallly get all 3 variants out of one model.

Fits together nicely, no small, easy to lose fiddly bits. And very fun to build.

Makes for a very nice army centerpiece.

2012 is looking to be a rather dull year so far.

Birthday been and gone on the 20th. not much to report on that. same old, same old.

TAFE is up in full swing again. Fub stuff. learning breads this year. its actually kinda fun.

Found out thata friend of mine is actually on FA. tossing up wether to say hi or start a brutal trolling campaign till he realises its me.

Stumbled across a new online kinda mmo/fps/rts game.

as its name suggests, its all about the tanks. WWII era tanks to be precise.

you start of with a german, russian and u.s light tank then play to gain money and experience to research and buy more and better tanks, ranging from light/medium/heavy tanks, artillary and tank destroyers.

free to play, but has the option to spend real money for exp and items.

second, got to look at the new DE codex today. very, very nice.

this is just what DE need to give them the support they so desperately need. the awesome fluff is finally backed up with awesome models.

Harlequins are in the list. grotesques are now ogryn sized, with wracks as the new unit. a new talos variant. and aircraft as a unit in the army list. yes aircraft. and a new vyper style 5 man transport.

the new metal archon is completely compatible with the plastic range, so you can mix and match heads for a custom look.

and pain tokens. wipe out a unit, get a token. they accumulate. 1 gives feel no pain. 2 furious charge and 3 gives fearless.

very nice.

following up from my previous journal.

one thing i discovered. there is no Dr Pepper anywhere here. none. zero. zilch. there was a time when they existed, but then they dwindled and were limited to specialty candy stores. now even those are gone :(

which brings me to my next problem.

Dr Pepper EA promotions.

the whole point of asking whether or not Dr Pepper was palatable was to try and get my hands on some of those promotional DR Pepper drinks. moot point now considering there's none here >.<

that and the promo is only running in America :\

which finally brings me to this.

if anyone who drinks Dr Pepper, that happens to have the EA promotions on them and dont want them? could ya throw them my way? id kill for some of those promo codes XD

ok movie. very much a tribute to the original predator. good music, good atmosphere. acting was satisfying to watch. all in all a 7/10

also, Nicholai is totally the TF2 heavy weapons guy. :D

was pretty awesome. thats all i gotta say.
