HELP FOR SANDY
General | Posted 12 years agoAs we are dominantly a group for dogs and those who love them, I would hope that people here may be able to find it in their hearts to help one of our four legged friends, in particular- Sandy.
The situation with Sandy was brought to my attention by a submission made by
, and thought that it might do some good to spread the word here in the hopes that this dog can get some help!
In short, Sandy is an elderly dog who needs quite a lot of expensive vet care, and her caretakers just don't have sufficient funds to get it for her, but they don't want to give up on her.

Crafts for your Pups! [New Feature]
General | Posted 13 years agoHey guys, Alphatross here! Long time no chat guys, I hope you're all doing well!
I'd like to announce a new monthly feature program, "Crafts for your Pups!"
What is it? That's simple, it's a monthly feature of artists who create unique crafts for man's best friend. Costumes, bandannas, collars, clothes, leashes, toys- whatever it is we'll feature it. People can suggest who they want for each month's crafter and a link to their gallery(s) and shop will be put up for the whole month!
This month I will be starting things off with the lovely Yowulf, who just opened a shop for pet accessories (and sometimes a few for people too!).

Submissions Now Open!
General | Posted 14 years agoAlright guys, this poor gallery has sat dormant and empty for far too long, the time is nigh for the submissions to open up. Got an image of yours that you want to see posted in this gallery? Link me to it in a note and I will upload it ASAP will full credit provided to you along with a link to your original.
There are, however, a few rules.
1. Images may not be pornographic or explict in any form (no gore, no blood, no sex, no extreme profanity). This is a PG-13 and under group, I aim to keep it that way.
2. You may submit artwork, crafts/fursuits or photography.
3. You may only submit things that you made/photographed yourself or that you have permission to submit to the group.
4. Submissions must contain at least one dog, or be otherwise dog-centric. Use common sense, don't submit cat pictures or dragons, there are groups for those.
That's basically it for now.

A Squirrely New Leader
General | Posted 14 years agoAfter almost a year of silence Dogs of FA is back with a vengeance...though not under the same leadership as you have all come to know. 
has stepped down and given the keys to me, 
. So that's right pups, a squirrel is now directing a hub of all things dog, crazy right?
Alright, enough shenanigans (for now!), on to the serious buisness.
Here is my official TO DO LIST
+ Eliminate backlog of watchers and thank every last one of you (CHECK)
+ Introduce Self (CHECK)
+ Move the breed listing off of the main page and into a special journal all it's on which the main page will link to.
+ Get us a mascot. Yep, you heard right, there's gonna be a club mascot!
+ Get to know you guys, get to hear what you want to see done with this club of ours. (COMMENT BELOW WITH IDEAS, I'm all ears!)
I think that's it for now, so let me just conclude with Hello I am super excited to be running the show now, and getting to do things with this so it's not just a cute icon to put on your page (which is awesome, but we can be awesomer!)
