Heya folks!
I've finally decided that I'll be moving accounts.
Why, you ask?
Branding, essentially.
For some ungodly reason, "dojero" has been taken
as usernames on other sites. That left me
using underscores, slashes, dashes, and what have you
to just use my frickin username!

I be moving accounts homies.
Nothing on this account will be deleted. It will stay and just sort exist.

Posted 8 years agoI'm just... So close to telling my work to go suck some slugs. My coworker ditched me last weekend so I had to finish his shift. Rude af. We're short staffed as it is. The boss won't hire anyone else due to front of house staff "having enough people." But ummn if we're SOL if someone takes time off, then we deff don't have enough help!
And the worst part is that this is keeping me from my art! I either don't have time to work on commissions or personal stuff or I'm too frustrated and PO-ed to be able to work on anything!
Something has got to give.

Ack, I'm really bad at words, but here it goes nonetheless!
Everything that has happened since my return from Bronycon'17
★ Organizing and cleaning up merch
★ House-sitting + no internet
★ Death of a coworker + a week of grieving + funeral
★ Working longer hours do to being short staffed at work
★ Cleaning house for a babyshower
★ Appeasing family by visiting
★ Out of state grandparents visiting
★ Purchasing of new tires
★ Car not passing inspection
★ Attending a wedding
★ Anxious BS feelings of not having enough time
With all of that baloney happening, I havn't had near enough time to work on owed commissions. Which is driving me absolutely bonkers tbh.
I am entirely fed up and frustrated with others deciding their time is more precious than my own.
I have personal needs to attend to.
Chores to do.
COMMISSIONS TO BE WORKED ON.
All piled up on eachother. Makes me want to pull my hair out!!!
In an effort to organize my life and get what needs to be done done, I'm going to start using Trello more.
I'm hoping micro-managing my life + art will help me get to where I need to be.

I'm 3 weeks in at my new job and I really don't have much time nowadays.
Commissions are still being worked on. At a slower pace than usual, but still being worked on.

I swear, it's been one thing after another.
Yesterday we had to put down my boyfriend's 20 yr old cat.
It was sad, but she was so ready. In a way I'm relieved. She went quick and is no longer suffering. I'm sure Rita is having herself a fuss at the Rainbow Bridge.
All I've been wanting to do is clean and draw. This better not be how the rest of the year will go!
I'm so frustrated I could cry...
Anyhow, I'm stuck in bed until the fever breaks.

Hiatus - In Mourning
Posted 9 years agoMy dog, my Rutabaga, passed away yesterday. It was a freak accident. She was crushed by a falling tree... She was a small dog with a huge heart. She loved everyone and made sure they knew it.
Due to this, I'm going on a mini hiatus. All owed art will be put on hold in mourning, until I am well enough to return.
