Last Friday, I got LASIK eye surgery, which is making me incredibly sensitive to light (including daylight and screens), so it'll probably be anywhere from a few weeks to a month before my vision is recovered enough to be able to get back to work on writing.

I'll still (attempt to) make weekly uploads on both this account and  Suetekh because the stories are already completely written/finished and just need uploading, but any new projects such as commissions or likewise will take some time before I can get back to them.

Went to see family over the break and so was effectively offline throughout that entire time, but now I'm easing myself back from vacation and will hopefully get back to work/regular uploads shortly.

Been awhile since I've had a journal update, so hello!

Where I've been the past week or so: I was caught up in Hurricane Helene. We're fine, but our area did get wiped out pretty badly (Western NC), and so a lot of people in this area are missing or cut off from the outside world. Internet and cell service has been spotty or out completely, and this is the first time I've been able to get Internet access since the storm took us down on Thursday night. Internet service is spotty and incredibly unstable, so if I receive any messages and don't immediately answer them, that is why.

As for the weekly uploads, I will make it up by posting last Sunday's story tonight, and then next Sunday (pending I still have Internet, of course), the routine will resume. Stay safe out there everyone, and for those who were also afflicted by the hurricane, our prayers go out to you.

Having finally finished my NaNoWriMo project, I have resumed work on Corruptus, which is now on chapter 55 of 60. Aiming to have it finished by the end of next week or the week after, but it honestly depends on my motivation. To let you know what's going on, I have finally reached a checkpoint in the completion of my current professional project (about a month and a half later than intended, but it finally got done), meaning I am ready to finally hop back onto Corruptus to finish it.

That being said, NaNoWriMo is coming up in a little less than two weeks, and given I have a full 30-chapter novel set to be worked on during that time, I likely will not get to working on Corruptus until December, meaning that, in all likelihood, it'll be either late December or early January before the book is finished and ready to start uploading.

Though I could cram the next two weeks and finish the book (there are only ten chapters left to write on it, after all), I'd much rather not burn myself out before NaNoWriMo starts, so I will be taking a writing break until then and spending my free time instead burning through my various backlogs (video game and book-reading). Rest be assured that I will resume work on Corruptus as soon as I finish my NaNoWriMo project. Once I finish Corruptus, I will finally begin the division of my uploads between my Dark Dimension Chronicles works (found on  Suetekh) and my fanfiction works (found here on  DolphinLover7).


The tentative upload schedule will be as follows:

Once a week (trying every Sunday night), I will be uploading two chapters: one on  DolphinLover7 and one on  Suetekh.

I will be gradually uploading chapters of Corruptus on the latter, while I'll be uploading a handful of one-shots on the former (probably 5-10 in total) before beginning the upload of chapters to the first book in the Storm of the Century cycle. I'll post another journal when the account split officially begins that will include more details as well as plot synopses for both books.


As for some other, more personal news...

Part of the reason why I've been trucking so slowly through my writing is because A: work is rough this semester due to staffing shortages, and as a supervisor/manager a lot of work falls on my shoulders to get done. B (and this is the primary reason): I've been having some serious stomach problems the past few months, and I'm currently trying to get them sorted out. Doctors aren't sure what it is, but are thinking its either my gallbladder crapping out or a really bad H. pylori infection, we're not sure which. I've spent a lot of time at home resting and recovering from this, and have spent the majority of that time burning through my rather large game and book backlog (past month alone I've finally finished and platinumed NieR: Replicant Ver. 1.22... and Elden Ring, made a decent start on Final Fantasy XVI, finished reading the DUNE books, and made significant progress towards the platinum on Demon's Souls Remake, which will probably be where the next two weeks before NaNoWriMo go to).

Anyway, figured I'd just provide an update here as to what's going on and what to expect. Make sure to give  Suetekh a follow if you haven't already!

I have some big news to share with you all!

Item #1

Within the next month or two, I will be officially launching my second page:  Suetekh !

When that happens, my Tales from Corruptus series will be pulled off this account and uploaded in full on the second one. All original content works will be put on there, and this account will be reserved for fanfiction and commissions ONLY!

For the past year or two, I have been secretly working on several projects now that I think you guys might find fun, and I have a large number of backlogged stories (including two full novels) that will be uploaded routinely on both accounts so that there isn't a content drought as I get used to managing both pages. The reason why I'm intending to launch the second account within a month or two is because I'm closing in on the completion of an erotic novel that will be the first thing on the new account. Until that novel is uploaded in full, the Tales from Corruptus series will remain on here, but will not be added onto past either #50 or #60 (haven't decided yet).

If you want to commission me, I still take them (so this account will not be abandoned!) but all commissions will continue to be exclusively uploaded here.

Some news concerning the Tales from Corruptus series and a hint of what's coming...

What you probably don't know is that Tales is actually a sequel series to the erotic novel Corruptus. It was during a bad spot of writer's block that I decided to write a collection of short stories set in the dangerous Dark Dimension of Corruptus, and that was the purpose behind Tales's conception. Now that Corruptus is finally drawing to a close after about two to two-and-a-half years of writing (I am on chapter 40 of 60, but will pen the last 20 chapters once I finish my current RL professional novel, which itself is very near to completion), it will mark the official start of my Dark Dimension Chronicles series. There are several planned novels in said series, but most of them are not quite ready to be revealed just yet, so it will be some time before you see them. Follow  Suetekh for news on that!

In regards to Tales from Corruptus, as a collection of short, sequential stories, it has no defined ending, and will probably last throughout the entirety of my creation of the Dark Dimension Chronicles. It will, however, be organized into arcs. What you're seeing up through chapter 50 is the conclusion of the first major arc in the story, which I'm calling the Awakening Saga. This will be followed up, beginning at chapter 60, with the Usurpation Saga, which is currently set to end at chapter 100 in the outline. There will be further arcs, but it's still too early to discuss. Chapters 51 - 59 will embody the transition between the two arcs, think the patch content between major expansions in an MMO. Whether Intermission Alpha (what I'm calling this first transition) gets uploaded on either this account or my second is still undecided, and will likely depend on exactly how long it takes to finish Corruptus.

Item #3

For the continued future of this account, I will be launching a second series, called the Storm of the Century cycle, that will be worked on simultaneously as both my professional works and the Dark Dimension Chronicles. It is currently set as a trilogy, but may have a future depending on popularity. The first novel, just called The Storm of the Century, will be uploaded on here around the same time as I'm uploading chapters of Corruptus to my second account. It is complete at around 30 chapters, but is simply waiting for the time to begin uploading.

As with all of my works on here, it is an erotic romance novel, but hopefully won't be the same kind of "Meet n' Fuck" series that I've been using up to this point.

Don't be dismayed if you enjoy those kinds of stories, though! In addition to The Storm of the Century, I also have a large collection of short stories built up that will be used to populate this account once I start taking down Tales, so look forward to that!

Recently, I've been thinking about creating a Patreon, and I figured I'd ask to see if that would interest anyone here. I'm not entirely sure yet (if I were to do it) how I'd go about distributing content to make it worth it for supporters, perhaps free commission raffles (like, for example, one 2k or 3k commission to be raffled off to a supporter every month or so), or Patreon-exclusive stories (as well as first-access to new chapters a week or so in advance to their uploading on here).

I've introduced a new tier to my commission options: the "Special" tier. This one, with three available slots, is for commissioners who would like for me to have an open word count in terms of determining the story's length. Effectively, with these stories, I write as much and as long as I feel the story needs to be to be told. Final price for stories of this tier is dependent on how long the finished product is, so I'd likely be in open contact with you throughout the writing process, although I don't imagine they'll tend to go on very long anyway and will likely fit within Tier I or II in terms of final word length. The process of commissioning in this tier remains the same as Tiers I, II, and III.

I don't imagine this one will get much use, but with a couple of commissions allowing me free reign in terms of word count for the story presented, I figured I'd make this option available to anyone who wants to use it.

I have updated my commission details (including preemptively adding the new prices, though they do not go into effect until tomorrow (as of the day of this journal's writing)). There is now a general contract that breaks down my writing process into detail and how I operate. When you request commissions, it's expected that you understand the details outlined in that contract.

Furthermore, I have also streamlined the commission page a bit as well, adding clarity to the tiers and explaining the process with which they're written. That and my profile page are overall cleaner and easier on the eyes to read.

Shifting around schedules I will now be taking commissions in a limited state. Shorter commissions will be preferred and given higher priority to longer ones as I juggle multiple personal writing projects (including an all-new, completely original, erotic novel that will be uploaded exclusively on here) and new work hours IRL. Multi-entry commissions are currently also not being accepted at this time.

In addition, I will be raising prices slightly to adjust for the workload associated with writing and to help with providing some supplementary income IRL. As of 01 June 2021, I will be raising prices to $10 USD per 1,000 words. This will accommodate the time and resources spent doing research, outlining, drafting, and revising. For word counts that aren't evenly incremented by a thousand, prices will be adjusted accordingly. For example, a 1,749 word story will be $17. A 3,289 word story will be $33, etc.

Any commissions negotiated or discussed BEFORE this increase date will not be affected by the price increase and will remain the same as negotiated.

First off, sorry for the lack of activity and contact but...well hopefully it'll all make sense once I explain myself.

This summer has been literal hell for me, with one medical issue after another that's kept me out of commission. I've seen more doctors and been poked and prodded more times in the past three months than I have in the last ten years.

Here's the basic rundown...

Back in early April, I was being kept from sleep by crippling tooth pain and illness that wouldn't go away. When I went back home in early May, I went into the doctor to find that I had a really bad infection in the big toe of my left foot, and I was close to losing said toe. After about two months of fighting MRSA and several surgeries, I finally managed to get that corrected.

Then began part two of my personal hell...

I went into the dentist, finding that the MRSA had settled and killed two of my teeth, so I had to get those pulled, and had some additional complications from the infection that, again, rendered me bedridden. In addition, there were stresses involving getting into school and other personal issues that took up the majority of my time and kept me occupied through much of my hiatus.

However, now that I have the toe taken care of (we saved it, thankfully, I was incredibly lucky), college and personal issues (largely) straightened out, and I'm on the road to recovery with the tooth issue (though still in lots, and I mean lots of pain), I'm back in action and ready for business.

I have one unfinished commission that I still need to finish, but once that's taken care of, hopefully I'll be back to maximum capacity once again, God willing.

I originally created this page to keep in contact with a couple of artists, but have found myself considering whether I should try to potentially take commissions for stories. Naturally if I do decide to do that, it'll take some time so I can build up a sort of trust with users on here, research how commissioning works, figure out pricing, and the like.

I'm not an artist, but I am an author...and apparently fairly good at erotica (we'll see about that), so I'll publish a few projects that I've worked on and gauge from there whether or not I impress people enough that commissions seem feasible.
