Ive seen a lot of artists do this and it makes sense. If everyone who likes your work just sends you a dollar for every picture you do it can add up. Enough to pay for new art equipment or bills. A way to actually put all that time and effort in getting an art degree worth it.

So I figured Id give it a shot, see what happens.

But If I do by some miraculous chance manage to get a lot of patrons from this enough that I can support myself on the side I will do a weekly request day. I doubt that much support will roll in so fast but Ill stick to it if it happens.

I cant find the words for how amazing this is.

....So I just saw the new TMNT. I-... it felt like Mr. Bay had to get his two sense in. That and "wait we need another cliche" While still more true to the source than the 90s version this one felt like someone had to update things to make it more modern to today's issues. Instead of trained ninjas or even robots like the original it was "terrorist mask, guns and attitude." Nobody wants a cheap substitute. and while the robotic suit and magnetic knives were an interesting idea... why didnt even his highest minions have anything close to that tech? Also I love how philanthropists or rich people still have the stereotype of "yeah I'm the villain later/secretly" there are no decent human souls in rich people but all the lower class have hearts of gold. Also people who need legitimate proof or reasoning in this movie are the bad guy. We all cant be TMZ guys, some people don't make up the news on the spot. And dont get me started on their faces and muscles. It was just wrong. they were built like a Rob Liefeld wet dream.

Also, show of hands, how many people put their keys under the sun visor? anyone? NO! It wasnt even believable 4 years ago anymore. Hot wiring was the much more logical reasoning. And dont tell me "well they cant be perfect and realis-" *slap* No. They tried to make this as real as they could. from the organic texture of the turtles skins, to the modern news channels, modern day, next gen robotics and genetics. you want to make a movie that is like the original stuff, be my guest, but if your trying to make it current, make pop culture references and jokes involving more modern things you dont get a free pass to movie tropes anymore. It will be dated in 4 years when those pop references are no longer a fad. Honestly I didnt have high hopes for this movie, and it lived up to those expectations. I'd rate it 4 out of 10. 3 decent special effect, 2 for trying to use a lot from the original series, -2 for making forced references/jokes to said old material, 0 for the same old plot you see over and over again and 1 for the only real good fight scene of the movie.

Seriously Capcom! What is this ($&*?! I mean I have played bad games by bad companys but your capcom. Okami, megaman x and many other classics we all love. But this? This is like that history exam that that one smart kid just didnt even study for because he has an A+ average and just fails the test. I mean holy hell! The boss fights are the easiest parts! Perhaps this is what led the Megaman ex series to end. after this one nobody trusted their games. Bad game design, damage is ridiculous, important stats you have to save to have a hope of feeling like you got a chance can be PERMANENTLY destroyed, not to mention invincible ghosts, instant death crushing, instant death spikes, instant death falls, instant death Tetris (ice level, no joke) and thats just the levels. the bosses are hard to beat if you dont take out the easy ones first. And people say Zero is the awesome one. I unlocked him. Yeah, not overpowered. In fact the only reason I would use him is to try to get to the upgrade tanks which are nearly impossible to get too without the right gear. I mean I played Megaman X to the point I memorized EVERYTHING in it. And if you missed some stuff in that they would give you it all at the after you beat all the bosses. Also the art is... Blech. The dialogue passe.

What can I say about this game that is positive?...

The let you continue a level indefinitely so there is a slight possibility you can beat it that one time.

So this weekend I visited relatives. Traffic on saturday was insane. 4 wrecks that I witnessed and tons more I just saw the ambulances and stuff for later.
One of them even started right next to us. The car made a huge gas burst sound and smoke came out of it as it went down the road. later traffic just stopped. As we finally got to it the car was a burning flaming mass and it even exploded a little as we passed.

So yeah that was my weekend.

Ive been wanting to do a Furry warhammer pic or series of pics for a long time. Problem is I can never decide on a race or units. Why? Cause I love to many of them and Id be doing this for like a year if I wanted to cover all the ones I wanted to do. Also I dont want this to be "oh look its generic blood raven or eldar unit" I want it to be unique and involve those who love it too. So here is my petition to you. What can I do that will help to involve WH4K fans on FA and cover a few or more races/units from the games for a picture/s?

Do you doubt it? well let me tell you this, in one of my classes I had to put my emblem on a t-shirt and I needed it to be distorted like the wrinkles. class was going to end in 20 minutes. what did I do? looked this up and did it and my project looked better than all the other peoples because it looked like it was wrinkled. True story.

So Ive been playing Nimbus for like 25 minutes and I have this weird sense of trying to conserve momentum now. Which is weird because I am not losing it. Heck Im watching a video and thought whoa better be careful, you will lose momentum, and then I realized it was just youtube.

Im gonna name this Nimbus syndrom. (not as bad as that time I had Deus Ex syndrome)

And there was a huge swarm of bees all over the side of the house like there was a large hive there. yeah. you can hear the buzzing if you put your ear to the wall.

Yeah that was rather shocking. Also my brother said we should put a sign outside the front door to warn people. I said: "Nah, lets just make a recording of ol nick and set it to loop so people hear 'Aw no not the bees! Ahhh! ahh theyre in my eyes! ahhhhhhhh!"

You know a lot of people really like and admire her. But Frankly after closer inspection I wouldn't touch her with any part of my body I wouldn't want blown off.

You know that girlfriend? The one that makes everyone jealous because in public she looks cool and hot, but then later she in private she showed off her crazy behavior?

Lets just recap: Her mom and dad were killed by pirates. Thats enough to make a batman or superhero with a tragic past right there. but it gets better. She was raised by weird bird aliens. Then when she was old enough to take care of herself and got a suit the pirates came and killed them. So imagine your own family was killed off and then you were raised by a foster family, and then those same people that killed your parents came and killed off your foster parents.... entire race. Thats enough for a survivor guilt complex x10. Thats also not counting the amount of carnage she has done in all her games AND being mistaken for a guy for the first few games, which means other people have done so a ton. Not to mention she has to kill the ghosts of her foster parents race Metriod prime.
Now given she can somehow contort herself into a ball and strips naked when someone beats her but... doesnt that in itself sound rather unstable? Also thats not counting The Other M where she sounds like an emotionless husk that has to make some kind of maternal reference or word the WHOLE dang game. Like a girl who lost her baby. Oh yeah, that brings up how one of the creatures she had been killing for several games took her as her mom and then died.

So Samus has more baggage than a airport. Emotionally unstable, homicidal and tends to blow up ships, stations and planets when she leaves them. She is like an evil deathstar girlfriend, but instead of trying to destroy your life its your planet she screws over. Bet you havent thought of that before?

Yes its almost that time. another 20 days and it will be a day I look at myself and say "well another year has passed and what exactly have you managed to do so far?" to which I wont have a long answer. Or even a great one.

*sigh* when you are a kid you look forward to this because you get cool stuff but when your older you stop getting gifts and just see yourself a little older, a bit more challenging, a bit more graphic, a bit more colorful, a bit more realistic, a bit more level, a bit more secret, a bit more enemies, a bit more friends, a bit more sound, a bit hotter, a bit cooler, a bit weirder, a bit more revolutionary. and to anyone who gets that reference truly you are to cool for words. Avians. I have nothing against them personally but making an anthro out of them is painful on the mind. There is just so much difference than most species it makes it hard.

First of all the arms and hands. Should they just be wings or will they be arms too? Can they still fly or do they need a set of wings on their backs? Does having wings on their back still keep them normal birds? should their hands be scaly and clawed like their legs or feathery?

These are the questions and problems that keep me from drawing birds. Thing is Im sure people will say "well its how you want to draw them or how it works out." but thats not good enough for me. I need consistency and at least a shred of believability. so I ask you, what are answers and the best solution for this problem?

Bout time I do an official journal or something for this.

This all depends on what you want, how many pages/panels you want and how many characters are involved, backgrounds and other details.

So everyone has seen different versions of multiheaded beasts. Cerberus and many other things.

But Im curious how does that work? Do they both have the same mind or are they separate? do they share the same personality or have different ones, or is it one mind shared by different personality's? Is it one soul or one for each head? Does that mean each mind warrants its own soul? Do they share intellect? Pain? sensations? or perhaps emotions? That also begs to wonder do they share memories or can they have independent opinions? Can they dislike each other? i mean wouldnt that be weird? sisters hating each other cause the other did her boyfriend or something?

Would their IQ's be the same, combined? I mean this raises a lot of interesting questions.

Slimes: the classic enemy you fight in every classic RPG. Why is it all slimes are portrayed as barely sentient hostile jelly? I mean Jellyfish are not sentient but slimes are fictional. We have taken way more libertys on other things. Technically the second terminator was a metal slime. Which makes me think that that is a good point. Slimes would be able to take and change their shape and form. Another thing is every time I look there are never very impressive. Usually is some kind of level 1 enemy or a joke. If there was creature that could change its shape and is essentialy a sentient mass of goo, wouldnt cutting it not really work and punching it just make it jiggle or go into the goo and get it stuck? that would make it immune to just about every form of physical harm someone can inflict.

Thinking about this I think its safe to say we should try to take slimes to a new level.
What about acidic, electric or other based slime types?

Are there any other points to discuss or that I did not cover? This is a rather broad subject here.

Everyone has seen a snake anthro at some point. the thing is if they had legs and arms... I hate to say this but thats a lizard my friend. the closest you can come to a snake anthro is a Naga. Just arms head and snake tail. some might argue that its not the same as the lizards but... if you remove the fangs, hood and head shape from the equasion how is it still different? Scales wouldnt really play much of a part as there are so many kinds. Frankly the legs just cannot be on a snake, it violates the principle of snake. Now if its a snake lizard hybrid thats acceptable. Another thing is that snakes dont have ears. that have thermal vision and can feel vibrations so would Naga's talk? and if they did have ears wouldnt that be the same hybrid problem? Its a lot to think about.

I was just thinking about the age old anatomy question. Udders, Boobs or both?

Think about it if we go following direct anatomy there should be a quad crotch boob and while thats cute it sort of seems to get in the way of an anthro. So some give them 4 boobs or four nipples per boob and say that that is the middle ground, but that seems a tad excessive. and finally there is both, the crotch boob mixed with boobs and sometimes it works but most of the time it seems like someone was a little desperate to get their 6 gallons of milk faster.

So what is the proper ballance? Im not sure but I think it depends on the character, functon, interaction and uses. But that means it wont always be the same, which is ok but most people want this nailed down. So what is the solution to this old paradox?

Today (like many days) I was working and had a lot of time to think.

And I was thinking about Magneto and his whole policy on mankind. First of all he is a holocaust survivor. Meaning he was deemed a lower species by Nazi's and that his "inferior" kind should either serve or die. And I will admit that can shape and scar a person however after further thinking I came to a suprising conclusion.

When Magneto had grown up and developed his power to control magnets he ultimately beleive that there would be a second coming of his worst fears. People persecuting mutants and in fear capturing, killing or enslaving them. This is sort of to be expected from someone from such a tramatic past. So he breaks off of Prof.X's theory of co existence and peace thinking it nieve and starts up the brotherhood. And in many of Magneto's speaches he says that he is part of "Homosuperior" a mutant, with abilitys making them better than the normal people. He invites everyone who is a mutant to join him and then states that normal humans are the real evil. Yet he trys to either overthrow the world powers, or wages war upon them when given the justification. He regards normal people has weak and inferior and treats them as such and only acknowledges mutants.
So what I have seen is that he has become what he feared so much. He is biased against normal people, favors mutants and ultimately holds a policy of "stay out of my way or else: I will punish you "inferior" beings, enslave you or kill you if you fight against me."

While he did not go out seeking to kill and subjugate people he ultimately became exactly what warped is life, a Force that leaves no middle ground and oppresses and discriminates what IT decides is "inferior". I found this facinating.

Have you ever pondered that if squid had nipples, would they squirt ink instead of milk. Perhaps octoboobs might be suction cups? where would this ultimately lead?

So I was playing Donkey Kong Country with my little brother and we were just fooling around a whoel bunch when I came across a wonderous thought.
If DK or Diddy fall down a cliff and die or heck just forget dying and explain how they suddenly get into all these scattered barrels everywhere? An idea occoured. They don't, they are all cloned. It makes sense how you can have one fall down a cliff and 5 seconds later open a barrel that has one of them in it. How is this being done you might ask? Simple, using banana stim cells from banana fetus's. Thus they could keep cloning themselves. Which is why you have to get a certain amount of Bannana's before you can bring one back. Also it why EVERYONE ELSE in that work seems to be ok with the Banana theft. They stole them so he would stop he evil reign. But instead he gathers what he can, and slaughters countless innocences on his way to taking back his unethical methods of using the banana fetus's. What if the Hero in this game is really the villain? Seems far fetched but think about it...
