Posted 7 years agoI usually get asked if I'm going to conventions a lot, especially the bigger ones. AC I've attended from roughly 2012 to 2017. I'm not attending this year.
Get me a gabber/hardcore/crossbreed/speedcore/frenchcore rave and a decent amount of vore and maybe I'll attend again lol, or maybe just a gf.

I'm going back to Tokyo, Japan next week for M3, Kemoket, Abyss Only, and Reitaisai. A lot of doujin events as well as a variety of raves. SDVX and Groove Coaster? Plenty of that too, though probably less SDVX because I'm terrible at it.
MEXT 2019 also released their info. If I'm able to put up enough basis on Artificial Intelligence, I may just move to Japan for 4 years to study cognitive studies as it related to Computer Science. It'd be sick to live in Tokyo during the Olympics though I'm also including Kyoto University as an option. It ain't as weeb as Tokyo, but then no where in the world is. Still got Mandarake in Osaka, and that crazy place where you could get 10 doujinshi for 800 yen.
No more furry or anime conventions for me as well. It's become a money sink and I generally waste a lot of time there at the bars bored. I need the vacation time for my Japan addiction lol! And to one day see my friends in other countries, particularly those in Europe.

Buying a Home in the Bronx
Posted 8 years agoI think I might go ahead and do it. I've been looking at several areas ie Pelham Parkway, Norwood, north Bedford Park, Kingsbridge, and Concourse Village-ish. Concourse Village in particular is the outlier. Near Yankee Stadium, it has the B, D, and 4 trains and unfortunately isn't the safest around. That being said, NYC safety is funny, there really isn't a bad area though some areas do feel pretty bad.
Reasons not to do this? In particular, these are coops. I'm sure that'll confuse a lot of people. They're also priced under or around $200k.
It all goes long term as well towards buying a place in Japan. I've been eyeing Chiba, and in Tokyo, Nakano. I kinda thought about doing Osaka, but Tokyo I'm the most comfortable with.

Posted 8 years ago^ was FUCKING GREAT. I generally don't like, or even hate, small conventions but this one was extremely nice. I can't explain it. I had fun, I met great people, and though I was basically tired af, I had an amazing time. It really helps that it was in NYC too. Honestly, can't wait until next year :3

Beyond maximizing my 401k, paying off debts, and beginning to foresake my emergency fund (since a well funded cash brokerage will often give better returns), I've decided to deprecate my newly created NSFW account in favor of just using my regular account as a catch all.

Posted 9 years agoFor like Saturday to Sunday at 5:45am, but shhhhhh!! RadyWolf and the other Japanese furs will be there so it's just too much of a no brainer to go. A great precurser to JMoF in Aichi, Japan too.
