SCAMMER ALERT
General | Posted a month agoI've been getting reports that there are scammers impersonating me on Discord.
Judging by recent journals, it seems like many artists are being impersonated recently.
In a particular case a scammer messaged my client asking for a payment on claimed ych before I could have messaged my client myself. They are obviously scanning my FA profile and submissions.
Hopefully these tips will help you to avoid impostors:
- I only have one Discord profile. I don't have any alts, "old" and "new" accounts. My account is active since 2016
- I don't use Paypal for payments, not as the first option at least. I use boosty and the link is on my profile page.
- I'm not searching for clients on any discord servers and I will never write to you first unless:
a) We are already friends and have a chat history
b) We were chatting with FA's messages and decided to move over to Discord
c) You've filled in my google form showing an interest in commissioning me.
Only in case c I'll try to add you as a friend and will provide you with the information only I should know from the form you've filled.
In all cases if there's even a tiny shadow of doubt, message me here on FA first so you can be sure you are talking to real me.
If you are claiming my YCH or commission, please wait for a confirmation message from this profile here on FA first.

What's wrong with my art
General | Posted 5 years agoRecently I've noticed a major drop in favs on my new artworks. And over the years my "progress" on non-skill part of the art life was slow too.
Nowadays I feel like I've lost the "touch". I've lost the thing that previously made my artworks more interesting for people.
Can't leave it like that because It hurts me hard in the first place.
It's not directly about skill, But more about approach to art, themes, characters etc.
Please tell me about what you don't like about my art or wish it was better.
And for all who wants to say "you art is great" - Thanks in advance, you don't have to tell me that to make me feel better!

My Cat died
General | Posted 7 years agoLast week she (Her name is Orisa) was missing for some time and gave me many reasons to worry.
Sometimes, when you immediately jumps into spreading panic, the problem itself appears to be non-existent.
This happened last week. But It didn't worked for now...
Orisa left our home at night from Thursday to Friday. And we never seen her since. 2 days is an extraordinary time for her to go on a walk outside.
Searched everywhere few times, until today I found her under lilac bushes near the road. The only busy road in vicinity. Go any other direction - and it's safe territory for kilometer or two. But she was too curious.
Gave her a burial and cried my eyes out, even my father cried. Orisa came to our lives just 10 months ago but she was the best cat one could ever have.
Kind, calm when you take her on hands, with melodic gentle voice and overall the best. We grew so attached in this short time, especially after she got seriously ill...
And now she's sleeping in a box with her toys, under the tree. Good night my cat, never forget. This is hitting on my feeling too hard... too hard.
Don't think if I'm going to draw anytime soon.
