Wow... Everything happens at once!

Both of our A/C units in our RV are deciding to crash at the same time (they're 20 years old, so makes sense), the leveling jacks also decided to break and get stuck and not go down, my tablet screen cracked (but still works-- phew!) AND my cat has a cold that we took her to the vet for this morning! As my bf says, Mercury is in Gatorade!! 😂

Geez... It's going to be an expensive next couple of months, lol! Good thing we're hanging out in the North East for a few more weeks... Not having a single a/c unit in Florida would literally be deadly! @_@

Anyway, that's how my October had been so far! I'm still slowly but surely getting thru the backlog of commissions, and hope to be caught up by the beginning of November! Which is my birthday month, woohoo! ^^

Hi everyone!

As of late, I've been very severely struggling with depression. It's affected how quickly I can get commissions done, because most days I physically don't have the energy to lift my tablet pen! It's been very stressful for me (because I'm usually very strong and independent!), and I feel very guilty about needing so much care and help, which makes me feel worse! @u@;

It got to the point where I had made a plan to, ehm, remove myself from the world! So... That's when I realized it was serious and I needed to reach out for help. So, I did! And today I am starting a depression medicine! I'm hoping that it helps me feel well enough to get out of bed every day, so that I can get stuff done! @u@ I know my situation is temporary, and once I get back on my feet, I'll feel better-- like I did before I lost my job and my home! @u@

If you're waiting on a commission from me, or plan on ordering one in the future, I promise I am working on them as hard as I can! And hopefully when I get on this medicine, I can start working on them all day again! Because I really do love all the ideas everyone brings to me! And how nice and friendly you all are! It really keeps me going! ^^ <3 <3 <3

I made a Tumblr because I needed an alternative to Reddit because that place is way too negative and stressful for me now ;u; ;u; ;u;

I'm not going to be posting a whole lot of art there, but I will be screaming my stream of consciousness into the void for all to see! 😂 It's mostly going to be me rambling about how much I love star trek and my struggles with PTSD so nothing too interesting. "I am currently on the road, living in an RV as my boyfriend and I travel cross-county from Hollywood, CA to Orlando, FL! Internet is spotty at best, and it's surprisingly exhausting being on the road in this BEAST of a bus every day, but our trip ends in the first week of July! I'll probably need some time to recover, but after that, I should be back in business! I may even be able to start doing art as my full-time job, which I would love! <3

Since I'm moving out at the end of the month, I'm getting rid of a lot of my stuff! Craigslist has been pretty slow going, so I thought I'd make a post here too, to see if anyone's interested in my 2 graphics cards I have for sale (from when we bought the 1080s a little while ago). We were saving them in case the 1080s died, but at this point we won't be using the desktops very much in the RV because they draw so much power! @_@

The cards ran great and even handled VR at a steady 90+ FPS. They could run any modern non-VR game on Ultra settings with no issue!

Hi all,

This morning, my boyfriend was furloughed from his job! Which means I'm the only one with an income until he can get unemployment benefits... Problem is, the rent is a little more than I can afford on my own, I think. @_@ Fortunately, we have some options... The complex has already given everyone in it a discount on our rent for this month, no matter our circumstances. So that's good! They're also offering to let us not pay rent for a month or two, and instead pay it back later at the end of the lease... Which I'm not so sure about that one, but we're looking into it...

So, I think ultimately we might be moving in the next couple weeks! Which is a shame, because I love this place so much! Our plan is to road trip from California all the way back home to Florida, since we have a lot of furniture and electronics and instruments-- and a cat-- and would really like to avoid airports due to us both having some health risks...

I'm going to try to get all the commissions and raffle prizes finished in the next week or two, just to make sure nothing gets stuck in moving-limbo!

Unfortunately I'll need to put Patreon rewards on hold temporarily. I'll still upload things, I just won't be able to complete the requests until later.

A lot of you have been asking, so I figured I'd follow up with an update! Fortunately, it's all good news for us here in Fort Donetis! :P

1) Our coughs and symptoms have for the most part passed, we think it was due to the weather changing so rapidly in so short a time. We're east coasters, so we're not used to the desert weather yet out here! We're doing daily vitamin C supplements and voluntarily quarantining ourselves as must as possible, just in case. Otherwise, we feel great!

2) I'm offering refunds because I'm worried that the people who have commissioned me may have lost their jobs or at least lost working hours starting Monday since so many states are shutting everything down.

3) Commissions are still open! I won't turn anyone away. However, I have seen some journals already from artists who are losing work or have already lost their jobs and are doing commissions to cover the current emergency. So please, if you can, go to them first!

So, my boyfriend and I live in Hollywood...

Our offices where we work and offices within walking distance of our house have all been shut down because of suspected/reported cases of coronavirus, and we've both been coughy and congested for a couple days...

Neither of us are running a fever, but he's been having shortness of breath and his lymph nodes are swollen so he definitely has /something/... But he's still walking around and talking on the phone with his family, so it's okay for now.

So I guess I'll keep you posted of if our situations change! I have lung issues from being stubborn in the military, so I have concerns that if I do get it, I may need to be hospitalized for a month or two. ;u;

Fortunately both of our jobs are able to be done 100% remotely and we are working from home for the foreseeable future and will not be missing any pay. We're very grateful for that because our rent is 3k/mo... Lol!

I wish the best for everyone out there, and hope that everyone stays safe, healthy, and well-fed!
