If anyone has a female fursona who they feel might be right for one of my tarot cards (check the gallery), please do get in touch! I can't say how much it would cost you to have a card made without an official quote, but my guess is $300 -maximum-, and likely less than that. It's something we can sort out if you're interested.

I know that's not exactly cheap, but the art quality will be on par with The Priestess or The Lovers; you will definitely be getting what you pay for.

I'll be at BLFC...at least, I have the plane tickets, so I certainly hope I'll be there.

Happy to (re-)meet people, but my social calendar for the con is looking a little crazy, so I'd urge you to try to coordinate with me in advance rather than leaving it to anything spontaneous.

I'm about 85% sure this con will be awesome, and 15%...less sure. If you want to help boost that 85%, that's awesome.

My primary room plan for BLFC has fallen through (not entirely unexpectedly). I haven't really heard much on Room Plan B, though someone has provisionally offered me a Room Plan C.

In the end, I think the odds that I won't go are pretty high, unless I get more clear and more comfortable offers before airfare spikes.

I'm rather less than entirely happy about this turn of events.

For anyone who hasn't been paying attention to me pretty much anywhere else, the Vermont Furs recently successfully fought to get an ordinance banning the wearing of masks in Burlington amended such that the suiters now have the freedom to suit in the city. Good for us!

As far as I know, in fact, this is the first time the furry fandom has actively played a role in having laws revised.

This past evening was likely one of the worst of my life.

The convention had numerous good points. Many of them. Unfortunately, it also had some pretty fucking catastrophic bad ones.

Direct communication about such things is welcome, but I don't trust myself to discuss it on an open channel.

The number of unresolved issues I'll be walking away with is...unfortunate.

Yes the con isn't even over yet, but I can guarantee I'll have things to say about it. I can even guarantee that I will want to talk about them. A lot.

But good or bad, barring the most general of things that you can find on my twitter or facebook, I won't be discussing them on an open channel.

I likely will be discussing them on my Livejournal, where I have a far greater degree of control over who sees what, and generally prefer as a forum for any serious discussion of my thoughts and feelings about things.

Two ideas making their way through my crazy-ass head right now. If you're an artist (or know one) with an interest in pursuing either or both, give me a poke!

1) A crocodile-collie hybrid. This idea came from a one-off gag, and would really be more of a curiosity than anything else. I would not be comfortable spending a ton of cash on this. :p

2) A classic "Wanted Poster" featuring everyone's favorite coyote. Depending on how well it scaled I could see this having some conbadge potential, or even perhaps a t-shirt...which would be awesome!

Friend of mine is selling their coyote suit for financial reasons, which must totally suck for them.
