Went to a friend's place, I'll try and post a commissions update tonight o.O

First and foremost,

There will be a commissions update tomorrow ( or later tonight depending on where I am)

Well because of my most recent tune up with my car.. ( trying to start your car realizing it won't start is not a fun thing to wake up to) Despite my want, I have to open up commissions again.

However, being that I already have a list left over from FWA, I will be opening up a Limited amount of slots, though for tonight, if any or all of you decide to commission me I will post a sketch tonight.

Rules and Regs and stuff

1) Payment can be accepted via paypal, you can pay half now and half upon completion, or the whole thing at once.

2) Porn- I have reservations ( cub, bathroom play, rape are the automatic no nos) However if I feel uncomfortable I'll tell you outright before you pay so that way you don't waste your time.

3) Please please please provide references and what not. If it's a color image I HAVE to get it right so that way your commission can be done as soon as possible. If you don't have a reference, please be thorough in your description and get straight to the point. This way I can jump on your commission right away.

Commissions update has been postponed until tomorrow evening. Friday night and Saturday were consumed by much needed relaxation and out hanging with the the wonderfully awesome  zimskunk,  zexyz, puc and their roomates. The last 5 weeks have been nothing but stress and more stress on top of more stress, not to mention the last few years of the pass or fail idea running around. I laid down last night in their guest bedroom really... trully relaxing for the first time in 3 years... No anxiety on my mind, no fear, nothing... and the fact I was able to do that with friends was nothing short of perfect. Guys.. thanks, from the bottom of my heart.

Now that my time has cleared up significantly I can start making some serious headway on commissions... fer realz...

...Passed... not only that they called off six of us ( one including myself) where in which the rest of the students had to leave. We were all told that we were in the upper echelon of the demo reels . So, according to the teacher, it'll be a hard toss up to see who will be best in show. Now best in show isn't really that meaningful in the long run, but boy is it a nice little pick me up.

1. Ever got so frustrated you cussed out your computer or art supplies in a fit a rage?

- I once sliced my finger with an Xacto knife, I wasn't even complaining about the pain just frustrated I had to spend time bleeding. Preventing me from getting to work really pisses me off.


2. Ever raised the price on a customer just because you didn't like the person?

Well if I don't like the person I won't raise the price, if they insist on doing things that prohibit my productivity I insist on my A$$hole tax in order to make up my loss of productivity. If they can pay that I can forgive any type of dickery.

3. Have you ever completed a commission that you took alot of pride in only to have the customer pick it apart?

A few times, but I start charging for stuff that wasn't specified in the original commission.


4. Have you ever royally fucked up on a commission?
Oh hell yeah, when that's the case I just simply do another one or refund them.


5. Have you ever been told "Draw it in this artist style" by a customer?

....yes. I get paid $16 an hour per job to do that for bigger stuff. If I'm in Artist's Alley, Dealer's Den, or just simply on FA you purchase what you see, not what another artist can do. You want something from someone else, then go to them.


6. Have you refused a commission before?
Sure have. There are some things money can't buy.


7. Ever looked at a commission that a person bought and just shook your head knowing you do better work and charge less?
Sure have.


8. Have you ever drawn a character so fucking ridiculous that the whole time you did the commission you questioned the persons taste/sanity but really needed the money?

Sorry for the inconsistent posts regarding your commissions. While I anticipated the final quarter of school to be busy, being this busy was not anticipated. Here's what I've been doing;

Now the website is up with nothing on it, but getting it up was a challenge, ( that's what SHE said HARHARHARHAR) This of course I will share with you once it's up. The flatbook has been arranged, I just need to make a mock up so that way it can be viewed for portfolio defense. The reel still needs to be arranged, though finding a computer along with the time to do it has been a challenge in and of itself. Business cards are finished.. those are pretty easy to do. The portfolio was relatively easy, I just need to make decent printouts of my work and I'll be set there.

Really the whole thing has been a nervwracking experience. Making sure all of my work gets done and a certain amount of work is done per day. You know, the kind of stuff I do anyway, except printing, loading, arranging.. and bleah!!! NO MORE All of this should be done by the end of the week, as soon as all 100% of my work is completed I will resume my work on commissions as well as updating all of you.

Also, any and all already completed commissions will be sent out this weekend. Sorry for the delinquency of their shipping.
