I'm aware that there's currently no feature on FA that allows the renaming of an account but I feel like now is the time to match my usernames more across the board.

I just haven't identified as my dragon sona for a while - she's still huge to me but she's not my main self anymore - and I wanted to better show that with a new name.

Still a bit of time before i do it here as i'm slowly doing it on sites i'm more active, but once i do i'll slap it here

Coming to the end of my Vit D pill period so we'll hopefully find out more next month when they take more blood tests - though honestly my mood has barely wavered, still feeling low frequently, especially on my own.

As for the bunny - Jesse got Spayed last Monday (17th) and was back to herself on the Saturday. Getting her a boyfriend in the future will be nice (looking at rescue/adoption, hoping to get details from the vets about one that's good with bonding rabbits before adoption...they did say it but I was sleep deprived and didn't write it down)

Art wise, being ill let me do a few burnout sketches before I hit Power Overwhelming so i'm hoping I can do more like this soon

Boop, was supposed to update sooner but life got in the way a bit

So my Vitamin D level was so bad they've had to double my doses for three months - that's about 40,000 units a week - once i'm done with that they'll have another blood test to measure the levels again

Also got a friend moving in mid May so i'm sorting out the spare room for them

Other than that, things are looking a bit more positive

Doctors took my blood today, we'll narrow down the cause of this crash i've had in about a week

They reckon Vitamin D deficiency is the most likely outcome, my dad (who is a GP) suspects my Thyroid being sad is also a possibility, this blood test should figure out if it is a physical cause and go from there

Falling flat since this year began - like i'm running on a low battery and i've forgotten how to run

I've been nightshift for 4 1/2 years and after the massive crunch I endured last year so I put it mostly down to tiredness - except now I cannot sleep properly

Got a few doctor appointments on the horizon for mental concerns - reckon it's likely SAD but they're going to narrow it down with a blood test next month

Take good care of your brain friends, they get sick too <3

Got back form my Second Sister's wedding about an hor ago and just woke from a nap

Got some goals but the first one is to focus more on my Mental Health - it took a horrid hit earlier this week and has left me with questions about how I am actually doing mentally

The rabbit is good, Jesse has gotten through the winter rather cosy (as a rabbit would do when they live in the house and sleep on the sofa)

Hoping to get more art on here, maybe a short comic or something for overall practice with panel structure

Jesse the Rabbit is doing great - she's stopped trying to go for the curtains at least - honestly, adopting her was a good choice for me and her

I'm really hoping to draw more things I find interesting, even if it's all over the place and sporadic

I wanted to do another Raffle for Halloween but i'm not going to have the time, so i'll try to squeeze in something DnD themed that can work with the longer nights - if you guys want to suggest or see more of a thing feel free to do so (can't promise i'll do all of them though)

Overtime is still in full swing for me - so tired

So I got older yesterday - eyyyyy

A Band of Merry Idiots came up to say hey (old uni buddies, woot) and during their 3 day stay we:
- Ate some waffles
- did some bowling
- Climbed a big hill to the local Cathedral
- watched that football game (England may not win but they be rootin' for France now)
- played Tekken 3 and some of the Classic Spyro Triology
- Had fun

Was good, back to drawing for me

Ahhh, those Two Weeks had me drained - I've shoved all the doodles into a dump

The 12 hour shifts are likely to return again but not 5 days a week, they'd be 3 a week - got a lot of work to get done this year and even nights are gonna feel the burn again

MAY EVERYONE PRAY FOR ME AND MY FELLOW WORKERS pls we only have so much caffeine and Doomy doesn't drink that stuff :(

Yeah, My work is upping hours as of Monday next week, 9pm-8.30am - looking to be this for two weeks (but knowing how Crunch normally goes it'll be two weeks minimum)

Things are going to slow to a halt for a while art wise - i'll very likely fall into the habit of doing small doodles for the duration of this period too

Pray for me and my co-workers, we need your power!

And after that work is going to not let up, looking to be very busy until end of this year/this point next year, depending on the workload needed once October ends

Heyo, new journal to flush out the old one

Recovering well, right now doctors have told me to not do any extensive amounts of exercise that could causer a lot of sweating as this can break the skin open around the wound - we don't want that, nope. Still doing sit-ups but Gym will have to wait for later

Also got back from my grandmothers Funeral on Monday - she will be missed by all of us - my dad and uncles are going through everything in her house and found a video from my Grandpa's 75th birthday (2004-ish) - it was odd waking up to hear their voices from downstairs, I thought i'd gone mad for a moment

On the art side of things,
The series i'm doing on DeviantART is taking my full focus right now, hoping to get the first volume done this year - then i can focus more on other things (mostly other areas of fandoms and cute porn 'cause we need more of that)

So, I've had a rather horrid week

My grandmother took a bad turn last week Friday so me and my siblings rushed up to see her on that Saturday -
was informed at the start of this week that she has passed away on Monday morning.

Will miss my grandmother dearly - she was the grandma that put family first and made the best bolognese (and she would try to feed it to my vegetarian sister, bless her she didn't understand it very well) but it was just so unreal to see her - she was so frail and practically deaf and blind on that visit.

And then the second bit:

During this event, I had a tailbone injury that made sitting awkward, I thought it was a bruise and the doctors over the phone suggested a possible Haemotoma (blood build up that got a bit tough, nothing too terrible) but that I go into the GP for checking.

Turns out, this injury was an ABCESS IN MY TAILBONE / UPPER BUTTCHEEK

It burst open on Thursday evening and I went straight to A & E (courtesy of the carpenter who gave me the lift there), I was there for a bit until I was informed I would need to return to the hospital the next day for surgery

Yes. Surgery

Friday Morning, I get there after a not-so-steady sleep (i wasn't allowed to eat beyond 3AM and not allowed to drink beyond 7AM) - because this is the holidays a lot of other accidents were coming in as well - Was petrified of getting a tube placed in my arm (IMPORTANT NOTE: I NEVER SAW THE ARM VALVE, im just told it was the Adult One [wtf]) so I buried my face in another hospital dweller (will call her K for identity-ness), so me and K just end up being chill with each other throughout my stay, which is nice.

About 8:30pm, after having fasted the whole day with only a drip for hydration, I get told i'm ready to get going in

On the bed (on my side mind you, I have not been able to sit or lie down on my back since the Tuesday) they give me the oxygen and the bigger tube to connect to the arm valve - it had a pink valve on it, which they put the knock-out-fluid in.

I do not remember passing out

Woke up half an hour later in the recovery ward, a little more awake and I get wheeled back to the room I was originally in still half asleep but more aware of myself.

Sleep was a bit balmy, kept waking up every now and then mostly for blood pressure checks, which were all fine - realised at about 5am I had the sleep I could for then (I never managed to recall when I returned to the ward but the earliest time I remember seeing was after my first doze, which was about 11pm-ish, so probably not long after i got wheeled out)

Was able to eat toast that morning and they proceeded to move ahead with the discharge notices as all was well for me to go home - though I am unable to work for two weeks due to recovery.

So they go with pulling out the arm valve tube thing (you know, THE ONE I NEVER SAW) and at first it looks long so i'm just like "ok, this is weird" THEN IT BECAME A GIANT L SHAPE AND MY FACE WENT "NOPE"

So that is an Adult One and it was in my arm for 27-ish hours

The redressing of the open wound is the most painful thing i'm enduring now but it is the last stretch to recovery

TLDR: Doomy lost her Grandma, had surgery on her butt and is recovering slowly

I've been ill for over a week but the last four days have not been easy - Tonsilitis AND a virus infection that BOTH took occupancy in my throat

The Tonsilitis kicked in first, as it was starting to die down the virus tag teamed in - I have not been having fun when eating as swallowing causes significant pain

I also went home this weekend (it was planned since a few months ago) and met my 9 month old niece for the first time (I kept a very safe distance mind you, didn't want to infect her or my sister and/or her partner)

I infected my two Step Sisters though - that was after my sister and niece had set off home so she's safe from me :la:

- Essentially, my Dad-family had an early christmas because they're in Australia when actual Christmas comes about, however because this turned out to work well, we will very likely have our Christmas in November so everyone can make it without the hassle of Booking Off Christmas Holiday (especially for retail)

But yes, I had an early Christmas with my dad, I'm working over actual Christmas and New Years (which isn't a problem with me having had the early celebrations) and i'm taking my time with a comic over on my DeviantART because:

- I found the original layout for page 47 and i'm doing that as well as the next page :lol:
- I rewrote a few bits of Tome 2 as one scene was incorrect due to flow - this is also meaning i'm rewriting a few scenes in Tome 3 for (hopefully) character development
- I've decided to do Tome 3.5 last, so the order will be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 3.5 (this is because Tome 3.5 will fill gaps in the Tomes after it that I would like to have people ponder over first)

But yes, long journal is long so TLDR: Doomy is still a little ill, she had early christmas, she rewrote a few bits and bobs of the comic she's doing on DeviantART and is taking her time

I've been quiet recently because of life so here's what happened:
- dated the biggest sweetheart for a month, we're still awesome friends though :)
- Doomy did a house hunt with her mum and found a place
- There are Board Games of D&D and they are both great and brutal
- Soft resetting Pokemon Silver for a Shiny Totodile

Now for what will happen:
- Hours are changing - hitting CRUNCH (will be full on nocturnal shifts)
- Will move into the house in two weeks - this is gonna be messy but it is my family's way
- Actual D&D campaign will have a one shot at some point to just have giggles with
- Soft resetting Pokemon Silver for a Shiny Totodile

Ah yes, that's why I haven't drawn anything for a bit - no worries folks

Once i've wrapped up the comic i'm doing on DeviantART i'll have more time to do whatever I want to draw without a strict schedule (not a bad thing having a schedule, mind you)

But yeah, i'd look into doodling a bit more naughties. This is pretty much just a little list of thoughts i'm jotting down at the moment (though if you like the idea of any of these just let me know haha)

- Probably some YCH things but i'd need to do other drawings first to gather interest
- Trades? I feel i'd need to know if the other artist is reliable (I was once swindled out of a trade a long time ago by a user I wasn't familiar with, still cautious haha)
- Adult Comic? Mayyyybe? would be a fun little challenge, though it wouldn't be huge in any way (also it'd be low on my drawing list so probably unlikely)
- Gonna keep doing my little adulty dump things, they seem to get a nice variety of interest every now and then :)

So, as title suggests, i'm slowing down for one reason: I have my Papa's funeral to attend some point in the next week or so

My mum rang me earlier Saturday morning and informed me that my papa (her dad/my second grandpa) had passed away due to a heart attack. It was pretty sudden, still somewhat processing it (as he seemed well the day before according to Nana, his wife).

I'll just need some time to give myself grieving space when it finally fully registers to me. I'll do some progress on TOD (the comic im doing over on DeviantART) but it'll probably be so little that an update is most likely going to get missed either this week or next week...or both if I still need the time
