Who knew all I had to do was get a single day off to feel better?

Once upon a time, I wasn't Doomsday. I used to be the one and only Time Traveling Echidna, and I started my time online writing dorky fanfics about everyone's favorite purple dragon, Spyro. They were... not great. But I got encouragement from many people, among which were quite a few prominent creators in the space. Turquoise Phoenix, Darkeiya, and Panthergirl. But there were those who came out of the woodwork to troll us, to leave mean reviews that said little more than "you suck lol". And among them was one prominent loser, who only identified himself as "DaDarkOne". In response to this, twenty years ago, I messaged those three, and together we founded Spyro Fans Anonymous to discuss the trilogy, as well as the upcoming uh... game. Yeah. Not a great one. It was the start of the dark times for the series. But together, we four brought light to it.

TP and PG left the group because of a lack of time, and many more joined us - Powerofthewol, Cocho, DarkSpyroIke, KTGreenstripe, Morbid-Dragon, Spyrolover378... all together we ran the forum, and eventually started creating a world of our own. The Special Fiction Association, a team of superpowered anthros who fought against the racist jerk Da Dark One and his team of losers.

Every year on August 13, I've personally celebrated this anniversary; even as we drifted apart, it was always a day to look back on. Recently, I even met back up with Morbid after at least ten years had passed since we last talked. I've been slowly reaching back out again to them all after disappearing off the face of the Earth... and of Fictonia. But I think now is no better time than ever to pick myself back up, pick up the shattered fragments of this world we built together, and make something of it after all.

Expect more soon. Ish. Things are less chaotic now. Still busy as hell... but I've fallen into a decent routine. I'm actually drawing more often than not when I'm home now. It's been nice. So expect some more of Angels with Benefits soon, and perhaps even SFA making its glorious return as I finally accept that I've been a furry all along, and finally embracing it is the best thing I've ever done.

Well the hectic summer is giving way to a far less hectic fall. Though it looks like I'll be starting a new job relatively soon as the contract with this one is ending. Which sucks because I had finally gotten into a rhythm of drawing during the super-dead last hour or so of work. Guess I'll have to do it more at home...

I'm gonna chalk up the fact that such little progress has been made on the Lewdiverse to the insane turn things have taken for me personally. Plans fall apart, so many times, in fact, that there's been FIVE different plans for where my fiancée and I will live after next month that have fallen through just this month alone.

But at least I got a new job. Soon as everything stabilizes after the move, I should be golden to finally actually get working on things again. Who knows, with how next week is going to go, I might even finish Rocco's sheet by then...
