Story and Life Update
General | Posted a week agoIt's been a long time since I last made a journal entry, almost as long since the last Wolf Team chapter. There's a lot to talk about regarding the past year, so I figured I'd talk about it a bit. A lot has changed, and is about to change...
Easily the biggest event of the year was regarding my job. Long story short, I quit. Back in January, I was given an additional job on top of what I was already doing, and I just couldn't keep up with anything. With me constantly falling behind on my work, I kept asking to be moved to another section where I could better manage, but it soon became clear that they wanted me to stay where I was. Knowing full well that things were not going to improve, I decided the best course of action would be to leave. It was a difficult decision, especially since I knew I wouldn't be able to look for work for a while, but in the end I feel it was the right move. It didn't hurt that my mum had just had surgery to have her gall bladder removed, so by quitting I was able to stay with her and help her out while she was recovering. So in the end, yeah. I definitely did the right thing, I feel.
The next major event is also the reason I haven't been able to look for a new job. We'll be moving house in the not too distant future! The first half of this year was spent redecorationg the house ready for it to go on the market for sale. We finally sold it in September, and just a few weeks later we bought a new house ourselves. We're still waiting for our seller to sort out a few more things before we can exchange contracts, but we hopefully shouldn't have to wait much longer on that. All goes well, and we should be moving in January. Once we've done that, I can start looking for work again, finally!
Finally, the next Wolf Team chapter. To say progress has been extremely slow has been a huge understatement. I started work on it last year, but I ended up being very unsatisfied with what I was writing. There were plot holes everywhere, and I was completely unhappy with it. So, I decided to scrap it and come up with a new story for the chapter instead. This one came together a lot better, but there was still one major roadblock stopping me from finishing it- a complete lack of motivation. Honestly, I think laziness would be a better word. More often than not, I just didn't feel like writing anything at all. This might have been understandable during all the issues I was having at work, but once I was unemployed and able to think straight a bit more, I still often didn't feel like writing at all. There was even a time where I wondered if I should just stop writing entirely. Thankfully, I was able to overcome those thoughts and crack on with things.
And it paid off, because I'm happy to report the chapter is finally finished! It's still in the editing phase, but there's not much left to do there. With that in mind, the next chapter will be uploaded at the weekend at the very latest! After that? I'm thinking about starting the next chapter of Dogs. Maybe I can get that done before we move. We'll see. For now though, my main focus is on the current Wolf Team chapter, and there won't be much longer to wait on that front!
And so, with that I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Spreading the Word
General | Posted a year agoI don't normally do this, but
TheInspiredSphynx is in need of some help. Her cat Daisy has been diagnosed with HCM- a heart condition mainly for Sphynx cats. Not only that, but Needless to say, the medical bills have been rather steep. The full details of the situation are here:

If you want to help, you can donate to Sphynx's Ko-Fi here:

No obligation of course, but any help is welcome!

Over 200 Watchers...
General | Posted a year agoThis actually happened a few days ago, but I didn't really feel right about saying it immediately out of respect for my grandad's passing. Now that I'm in better spirits, however...
I've now hit 200 watchers on FA!
As I said when I hit 100, the number isn't a massive deal to me. But it is nice to see more and more people taking an interest in my characters and stories. So, once again I must thank you all. Not only for all the watches, but the faves and comments over the years as well. Thank you for your continued support!
Most importantly of all, thank you for all your condolences and well wishes over the weekend. not just on here, but everywhere I usually hang out. Your kind words made me feel better during this time of mourning for myself and my family.
Now that things won't be quite so hectic for me, I've decided to lift my previous hiatus on both the Wolf Team story and on streaming. I hope to get back into the groove soon enough, and I really do want to get the next chapter done as soon as I can. It's just a matter of finding the motivation to do so.
Once again, thank you all for everything. i truly do appreciate it.

Trying to Find the Right Words...
General | Posted a year agoJust two hours ago, my grandad passed away.
I mentioned a few weeks back that he had fallen ill, and last Saturday he was admitted to hospital. Today, we recieved an emergency call asking us to come to the hospital immediately, and that's exactly what we did. A few hours later, he was moved to a more private ward, where he would spend the remaining hours of his life. At the very least the majority of his family was by his side as he passed, so he thankfully wasn't alone. I'm... honestly happy he managed to last as long as he did, and we got to have one last Christmas with him, as well as celebrate his birthday one last time. But now... he's been reunited with my grandmother. After the funeral, he will be cremated and his ashes mixed with hers, so they really will be together again.
Farewell, Grandad. You'll never be forgotten.

Story and stream Hiatus
General | Posted a year agoSo, things are not going great at the moment.
Namely, my grandad has fallen ill. And we don't think he's going to last much longer than a few weeks or so. My mum will be staying with him as much as she can, leaving me to hold the fort. With that, I have a lot more to worry about for the time being, and as a result my already low motivation to write has taken an even bigger hit. So, I've come to the desicion to put the Wolf Team story on hiatus for now. Not only that, but I will be seldom be streaming very much as well. My focus now needs to be not just on my job, but keeping the house in order as well, and I just won't have much time to think about much else for now. So until everything returns to normal- which will most likely be when my grandad passes, sadly- there will be no more updates to the main Wolf Team story. The comics for both Wolf Team and The Fur Palace will continue, but everything else in my head? It will have to wait until a later date.
I hope you will all understand during this difficult time for my family, and I will keep you posted when the situation changes.
Thank you.

Introducing Ask My Characters Anything!
General | Posted 2 years agoOkay, so it's not a great title. But nonetheless, I've been enjoying
RaccoonPioneer 's Ask The Cast series (Starting here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53543364/ ), and I decided to steal it for myself, lol.
So, with that, I've decided to let my characters take any questions you may have about them and the worlds they inhabit. If you have any questions about the worlds of Wolf team or The Fur Palace, here's your chance to do so! There will be three rules, however:
First of all, all responses will be written, without art. I am a much better writer than artist (Not really saying much though, haha.), so I feel like writing is more my speed. They will also be written in character, depending of course on who is being asked.
Second, please no questions regarding politics or religion.
Finally, with the Wolf Team characters, try and keep it SFW. They are generally not horny or over sexed, so NSFW stuff doesn't really sit right with them. The Fur Palace cast, on the other hand... Feel free to ask them whatever you want, NSFW or not!
So, if you want to ask my characters any questions, please write them in the comments and I'll reply to them as I can. I look forward to seeing what you have to ask!

Wolf Team is getting a reboot.
General | Posted 2 years agoAfter a lot of thought, I've decided to go back to the start of the Wolf Team story and do a reboot of sorts. There were a few story beats that I felt could do with some serious improvement, and I wanted to introduce certain characters earlier than they were in the original story. Also, go into more detail in certain parts and maybe even hint at a few future characters. In particular, I want to try and introduce the super villain Crimson Pandora much earlier as well. Just need to figure out how and where to do it. Finally, I think a few chapters could do with being merged, but with the added story elements.
I won't be fully rewriting the story, especially the later chapters. Those will still be somewhat altered though to keep in with the new story beats, but will remain mostly the same. The characters themselves won't be changing either- they'll still be the same as they were in the originals, just with a little more focus on their backstories. I'm actually in the process of doing the prologue as we speak, so I should have the new version up in the next few days!

Well...
General | Posted 3 years agoWow. Just wow.
I don't normally write journals, but... I have just hit 100 watchers on FA, so i had to say something.
All I can say is thank you. From the bottom of my heart. I know 100 isn't very many compared to so many artists here, but it means a lot to me. It makes me so happy knowing that there are people out there who like my characters and even my stories enough to consider them worth their time. So thank you again. Thank you for all the watches. Thank you for all the faves and thank you for all the comments over the years. Truly, I appreciate them so much.
So what now? Well, I'm still working on the next Wolf Team chapter. It's coming along slowly, but it is coming along. I also want to do something special for hitting 100 watchers, but I'm not 100% set on what I want to do. In the meantime, I have a couple of arts I'll be uploading tomorrow, so I hope you look forward to that. But, yeah. Wolf Team is still my main focus right now, and we'll see what happens from there.
Once more, thank you all so much.
