Hey all

I have been wondering , when someone requests a commission its always helpful i imagine to the artist to give as much information as possible to the artis to enable them to give the commissioner the desired result.

I was curious, what do people give to artists as descriptions? i always feel like i should give more details to an artist i commission, I would love to see what others send to artists in terms of detail !!

Life has been a bit of a whirlwind the last few months , I moved to the middle east to a new job working with oil field equipment in desserts and warzones alike , unfortunately that has taken quite a toll on the people that have tried to regularly keep in touch with me over skype etc. . I have found that quite a lot of sites that were mainstream in the UK are censored in the UAE and have great difficulty getting Skype to log in . So my apologies to those feeling left out or ignored.

Recently I posted a load of my commissioned works to my page , everything I have posted has been credited to the original artist so I’m hoping there are no offended parties , judging by the fave fest that went on there were many happy viewers and hopefully that drummed up some interest in the original artists.

My mind has been wandering from scene to scene , always rubber orientated , but sometimes ( please don’t be offended hard-line sexuality’s ) there is a good bit of TGTF added in , not sure where this originally manifested but the latex and TG fetishes have been with me from as long as I can remember , it would be awesome to try it for a day , maybe more .

My creativity pool has sort of dried up , I’m desperate to commission more artists , however everything I have ever wanted to be visualised in one form or another , maybe I need to do more RP or interaction to get the engine going again , inspiration is lacking !!

Now looking back on that its genuinely just some rambling nonsense !!! :D

We all like a freebie in life , whether it be a gift art on FA or a handout at the supermarket . However when a pair or a group gets together for an RP , i expect that when i put a decent chunk of text down with punctuation and good description i expect the same sort of effort in return. Not saying i demand perfect spelling and grammar frankly i couldn't care as its all part if human interaction. But is it wrong to expect just the same amount of effort in return to my own ?

Im sure this is a widespread thought and there are out there that want to put in the equal share and have an experience.

So i suppose that was a bit of a rant haha , but what i am curious about is , if your RP is along the lines of - text block versus " oooh yeah nice what now" , how long do you let that go on for before calling it quits ?

I have always wanted to gobto a furry convention (been to disney land so cant come away with that cliche !) and have always had it in my mind that anthrocon was the " biggest and bestest" however as i am a complete virgin in the matter i am hoping there are some freindly words of wisdom on choice of venue and the general dos and donts of attending such an event ?

As a resident of the delightfull Scotland attending one of the major US events will be a fairly expensive excursion , but one i am deffinately willing to do , the question is which one ? Help ??

I hace been becoming more and more active on this community , don't get me wrong i have been here since the early 2000's and in the same orca form in one way or the other . So as i have become more engaged with "dorsal" i am wondering what would life be like if fantasy became reality and that long awaited transformation rubberisation occurred and i found myself living life as a latex anthro orca.... I know i have lost a grip on reality and have no doubt fallen down the furry rabbit hole hehe . But what if it Happened , work would be gone ( who cares really ) what would family think ? A bit more than just coming out the closet . The logistics of daily life like living with a dorsal fin and big tail on your back and butt.

Well I'm looking into commissioning a full scale suit based on dorsal , inflatable and hopefully to a sort of scale that would be true to that form. Maybe then my questions will be answered :-D

Ok so the last ( first ) journal effort didn't quite go to plan , understandably I suppose whose this dorsal dude anyway!!

Anyway not to be dissuade by that result and since they took the time to respond to my interest I'm going to post what appears to be quite a trending thing here on FA . Hopefully there may be some more interest :-D

Hi FA !! As the title may reveal this is my first , hopefully of many journals in here . I have been a silent voice here apart from my commissions and in part that is a reason for me breaking that silence . I would like to get a bit more involved in the community cons etc , all in the fullness of time.

I want to put an idea out there , currently i have the funds for a commission and i would like to run a simple competition of sorts . If your idea appeals to me i will fund the work up to the value of $100. I feel that there are so many spectacular ideas out there that never come to fruition due to lack of funds . This will be open until Sunday 13 April 1700 GMT.

Hopefully there will be some replies , otherwise ... Well that would just be embarrassing !!
