Interlude
Posted 8 years agoIt's strange, this internet thing.
For example, I don't know who I'm talking to right now.
I've re-written this journal a million times, but I never decide how much I should explain.
Yes, I disappeared for more than a year.
I wanted to delete a shout, and deleted all of them by mistake. That made me sad.
I spent more time typing, thinking and answering, than drawing.
That's why I'm not accepting more commissions.
I've been postponing this journal for a long time, but I had to say something eventually.
I still love f*king centaurs though.

Working on it
Posted 9 years agoHey people!
Still alive :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6ljFaKRTrI
Doing commissions is going well so far, but not without hiccups.
I'm using streak for gmail to organize everything,
I'm actively working on let's say 2 commissions at a time,
I have 3 other that I have started to sketch, and 3 other I have only accepted.
Then I have requests and negotiations that that haven't been agreed upon.
I start to draw after accepting, then present those initial ideas and an invoice.
If/when paid, the commission is "active" so to speak, and I continue working to publish it.
I don't start new sketches/ideas until prior work is done.
So I have commissions that I have accepted I haven't had even time to start.
I imagine a queue of people waiting, and that makes me stress, doubt... aaaah!
Maybe should use slots, a public queue or something...
I don't want people to feel disattended, but I must deal one at a time.
And meanwhile, out here I'm not giving signs of life :S
I know I know *sigh* I feel pressure.
Oh, btw, I just discovered blackjr's videos...
I hear it's the source engine... jawdropping :D

Comissions, maybe
Posted 9 years agoHey people, it's been a while.
I should have mentioned this before, Thakur wrote new chapters of Many Trials (15) and Dogtaur (Speed Dating).
You should totally go read them if you like centaurs!
And check out Thakur's other stories!
Other than that not much to say.
Well yes, I have been looking at Patreon lately.
I'm seeing artists here earning cash from drawing what they like.
I'm not claiming to be that good, but I wonder if i could acheive something similar.
Im sure its not easy (comissions, updates, screencasts, color ...)
What you think?

Happy New...
Posted 10 years agoHey, happy new 2016 people.
It's a bit late already, I know, but since this is my first journal I guess I can drop in a happy new year, why not.
Nothing serious to say, just thank all of you people for liking and following my stuff, "art" or whatever you wanna call it.
It's been two years since I started uploading and it seems like yesterday.
Looking at my gallery, I haven't uploaded that much, so I'm grateful that what little I've put has been well received.
I don't feel confortable talking about this with people I know, so it's hard to justify the time I spend on it.
Basically that's the whole reason I don't comment that much, why I don't do comissions, why I haven't done a comic, and why I don't finish most of my drawings.
Also, anything involving $$ is hard to do without revealing your name, so I don't see a way to start there.
I cannot justify the time I spend because I'm ashamed, and I'm ashamed because I cannot justify the time spent...
Tough one this one, and it's all in my head ;)
If I ever manage to break from this wheel of self loathing, well... you'll be the first to know.
In the mean time, just thank you all again for liking and following, as I said I'm just happy to see there is somebody out there who likes something I do.
It makes the time I spend on it not completely pointless :)
And hoping I haven't depressed you too much with my problems,
'till the next time!
