Finished my Final today, scored a 98% on it! Only made a few clerical mistakes because somehow, when I'm writing answers on paper and then have to type them in afterwards, I like...go blind to missing symbols and the like. Weird.

But really, it's all negligible at this point! I'm free from summer school at last!!

Now I can hopefully go back to chilling ;w; Only thing left to do is to take the cat to the vet this Friday for a regular checkup. Otherwise, we're in the clear!!

Wewf... finally made it to the end of this Precalc summer course. I have my last test on Monday, and then I have the final on Wednesday. Trying to get all my studying done and stuff I need to do before test days, then I can go back to focusing on art! I don't like delaying commissions but thankfully my commissioners are great folks and very understanding. It's almost over!

Wish me luck even though I've done well in this class all throughout! Can never have enough of that.

Taking my second math test tomorrow... Then after that it's just 2 more weeks and then I'm freeee until late August. I'll be so happy to finally take a break, doing math everyday, much less learning a new lesson, is exhausting! I've never felt more mentally drained in my life. Not so much that I can't still draw at least, but surely by the end of the day I'm wiped out xD. We're getting close to the end though, so not far to go!

Happily able to report I got my phone fixed a little while ago, forgot to mention that! That's a worry off.

Today however is the first test for my Precalc class. Been studying all day yesterday and making a studyguide along the way so, about a week's worth of study. Wish me luck!

They've been open but my brand new phone crapped out on me this morning :\ I just love how all these phones they have nowadays are not really easily accessible by the public. I'm not exactly mentally prepared to slice my phone in half to open it myself. But I'm going to try to get it looked at today. Hopefully it's a simple fix.

Today my graphing calculator for math is supposed to come in too (didn't want to spend on that but I had to for school.) THAT battery also crapped out when I got the first one, then sent it back. So, let's hope it's not two for two on dead devices today haha.

Social obligations done, final grades are in, and I'm back! So that means commissions are open again!

The final tests for my classes went about as expected. Did amazing at history and archaeology, math I did shockingly well also! I got 23/25 correct so, an A! My first hard-earned A ever for math in particular. I'm very proud of myself.

Less so for computer programming however. Somehow ended up with a 59/80 despite feeling the test was very easy? And I even studied and prepared beforehand, thought I was going to get way more correct for the written portion as I felt the most confident about those. Alas. I was unable to go over my final to see what I did wrong and where so I'm a bit sour about that. BUT! My final grade for the class was a 91%, since a C on the final dropped me about 5% from a 96. I'll take it!

So yep! All A's for these classes this semester. I have Precalculus coming up starting June 3 - July 3 I think? Or something like that... So I'm going to try to get a head start and review some stuff beforehand. After that though, regular school starts again in August. Hoping I get some scholarships or pellgrant money, though anyone who's done FAFSA this year knows how insane it's been.

Anyhow! Commissions are open :3~ Glad to be back to my normal routine.

I'm so tired! Can't wait to see my final grades for all my classes. Nervous about that but now I can sleep.

Ughhhh here we go, finals officially open up starting on Friday this week. I've a lot of study guides to put together, but making my way through. The tests aren't open book but we CAN try to fit as much as possible on a piece of paper. I'm sure taking advantage of that.

I got done reviewing my coursework for my Bachelor's for Computer Science at uni

boy am I intimidated and scared. if you fail classes twice then you get kicked out of the college. So there's really no room to screw around. TBH this is my first time in university, and while I think I'm better equipped now as an adult at 30 than I would have been as a pipsqueak of maybe 20... It's still pretty scary.

I just hope I got what it takes. I'm pretty confident I'll make it through but goodness.... That's a tall mountain.

And then looking for a job is terrifying after the fact too haha but, hey. If you want good things in life you have to sacrifice and work hard for them.

Man, so much for it being a 'break'. I was busy all throughout with homework and midterm prep (and mid term tests right after). Despite working every single day on stuff, I still managed to nearly fall behind. That's crazy! I can't wait to get back to a more normal schedule for a little while.

At least until the end of April... that's when Finals and last tests are issued out and boy oh boy that's going to not be fun.

I have a big week long trip planned right after as well that I'm not really looking forward to (don't have energy to socialize with friends as soon as school's over) so I'll be happy when that's out of the way and I can veg for a few weeks until July. Then summer school will start.

I'm kind of waffling though... I don't feel as confident about programming as I did when I started. But I suppose I am still learning. I really want to dip my toes into engineering to see if I'd like any of that stuff better, but I don't want it to cause me to have to stay in school longer (and pay more) either... Oh, what to do what to do!

No matter, at least I'm staying busy! Trying to work on commissions on the side as well, even though I'm a bit slower now. They still get done though (of course they would lol!)

What a year, I'm tired!

I've finally joined the ranks of most of my friends in being 30 lol.

To celebrate I've spruced up my page a little bit! I really needed to do it earlier, but I think it turned out nice :D

Anyway, to be more reflective, I guess I didn't ever imagine myself being in the position I am right now, life-wise. Going back to school full-time, making a small wage off commissions in order to pay for it. Things feel relatively calm right now and I'm...tentatively excited for the future. Last time I was excited, COVID happened LOL.

Cautiously optimistic!

So many things happening this month! I'm going to be 30 on the 20th! Ew!

And I also just bought pokemon violet used off ebay (was not going to pay 60 for that) as a little treat. Hopefully 2 years out and it's not horrendous as I hear!

Anyway, YCH's are still available as are regular commissions! Haven't been able to do as much art for myself lately because of homework, but hopefully I find some time eventually. Not that commissions aren't of course taking a priority!

I'm thinking about creating another YCH to add to the bunch, though I'm not sure what it should be about?

I've been trying to find my niche and I'm not sure I've figured it out quite yet xD; if anyone wants to see something specific drop a comment and I'll consider it!

Week 2 today, already better than I was 2 weeks ago but man this cough sure lingers! I'm just glad I've been able to keep up with homework and art where necessary. As soon as this cough's gone dang, watch out. Hopefully not 2 more weeks though... Heard this stuff just goes on and on..

Still here. Was doing real good juggling homework and stuff and then all of a sudden- WHAM. Hit by the flu or respitory virus or covid or something. Hopefully not the last one.

Been a real shitty week sadly and I am just not in the mental mindset for homework... but I must...

Back in college that is!

Lord... how did I do this when I was ...what, ten years younger than I am now? Goodness gracious. I suppose things are different because all my classes are online now. Today was slammed with a lot of on boarding stuff, and me, who's used to two classes a day (4 total), definitely feels overwhelmed right now, wondering how I'm going to get it all done.

I've dealt with deadlines more stressful than this. Always manage in the end. But boy do I not feel like that right now haha.

It'll be worth it though when I come out the other side with a good job. Really considering pushing YCH's... I'm having fun with them and I can get them out quick. I don't expect my work times to suffer too much though, so hopefully everything'll level out soon and I'll fall back into a routine again.

Sketch prices have increased, for the most accurate info check out my carrd for stuff like that! I try to keep them updated here on FA as well but I fall behind with that, so carrd's much easier ^^; Trying to think of some new YCH's I can try out this year, the last one didn't do so hot but I also don't really know what hits right now. Suggestions welcome!

Got all my college classes registered and dealt with. Now I just need to wait until November to actually have my residential status updated.

Nervous for the road ahead but finally I'm going to do something I actually want to do this time around without chickening out because I believed I was mentally incapable. Not that I didn't enjoy my art degree, I did. But a part of me was too scared to think I could be capable of a STEM degree. My belief has changed now after working a dead end job for 5-6 years.

Hopefully one day I'll be the one commissioning people again :3 that was so nice. For now though I enjoy these YCH's. They're easier on me and I think I could juggle these better with classwork
