Hey everyone,

It's been a long while last I've had an update, but I just want to let you all know that I'm trying my best to survive each day in terms of mentally and emotionally. The loss of my dad still keeps me quite paralyzed at times and even though I shouldn't... I sometimes still blame myself for it. My journey through the stages of grief feels more like a wild roller coaster ride that just goes to different stages randomly, rather than a step-by-step process. Other than that, me and my mom have been also busy going back and forth taking care of stuff at my hometown, some papers, documents, etc.

Apart from this, I've been trying and continuing the leftover commissions I have. I've cleared through the YCH commissions for now since they take less time for me to work on. However I have not forgotten those that are in the normal commission queue. But I will still say my deepest apologies for taking excessively long to tend to the normal commissions queue. My current goal for art is to clear the normal commission queue and probably start focusing on my creative portfolio for job hunting. If I do get some little time I'll try to think of new YCH ideas to offer, however I might not be able to offer normal commissions anymore once I get a job. It's not really a "never" but it's less likely to happen as they do take up a significant amount of time to work on.

With all this said, I am still open for YCH commissions (Limiting to 3 for now) if you'd like to snag one but I will be putting those on the end of my priority as I need to tend to the normal commission queue for now. If you are queued for normal commissions, I will be messaging you regarding this.

Hey everyone,

sorry for the lack of any update or content within the past few months, for those who have been following me on twitter may already know what I'm currently going through, but for those here..

I mentioned last journal that my dad is in the hospital and I had to take care of him. Unfortunately... he passed away on April 4, 2024 and I've been absolutely devastated. I barely have any issues with my parents, they've been pretty supportive of me (of course some other things are best left not known to them) and I'm very happy to have them as my parents. My dad is the breadwinner in the family, providing most of our needs and expenses and so. And this event left us in a really rough spot emotionally and financially.

The hospital bill got too big during his stay, we can't pay for it yet, thus we're on promissory note. Hoping that maybe later on we'll get to pay the hospital bill. Along with this issue are other things that he left behind that I have to handle and manage, including our housing loan, and our basic stuff to pay for monthly, utility bills, groceries, basic necessities... I can't even properly grieve through this event without feeling anxious about our financial state, it's only me and my mom left in the house..

And so, i have a really rough responsibility to try and keep us afloat...

Hi everyone! I just want to give an update that commission work is ON-HOLD at the moment. I don't know when I'll resume working on them, but for those that I've already started working on and have collected payment from, please feel free to let me know if you'd like a refund. Otherwise, rest assured I will continue working on these commissions and finish them some time. Thank you for understanding ;w;

Details of the reason are below.

The reason is because my Dad had to be rushed to the emergency room again, but this time being admitted to a different hospital. His condition became critical inside the ER, and all I can say is that it's a miracle he's still here.

For the past week I've been stuck here in the hospital handling papers, documents, meds and stuff needed for Dad, and charity-related stuff to bring our hospital bill as low as possible. My mom also handled documents that required going back to hometown, cause I can't, I'm the main companion that should be present and can be called at any time if there's anything needed. Relatives are far away and they can't help with swapping places with me sadly

He's currently in the ICU and we're working on getting his needed procedures going, biopsy, and whatever treatment is needed. But it might take longer.. that's why I can't tell when I'll be able to work on comms again. I use a desktop PC at home, and my laptop's battery is dead.

Again, Thank you so much for understanding and again I'm very sorry.

Things have been rough at the start of this year 2024 as my dad had to be rushed to the hospital ER due to an issue around his chest/lung area, some kind of tumor growing. He was admitted for 5 days and I can't emphasize enough how painful and mortifying it is looking at my dad and the hospital bill that came with upon discharge. And the admission was just so they could monitor his health and get a sample from the tumor to analyze in the lab what exactly is it. Actual treatment for the tumor is still unknown until we get the results. Currently we are back at home awaiting the results.

TLDR, I want to help my parents financially after a whole ordeal of my dad being hospitalized for a couple of days and being stressed at the hospital bill.

Heya! I kinda rarely update here on FurAffinity now unless I have an artwork that I'll post, even forgot to update my previous journal lmao. But anyway, life updates. It's kinda.... meh? I kinda don't have much to do but just keep working on art stuff, do streaming, work on my stupid university clearance so I can get my stupid diploma and transcript.

I've been thinking of releasing one YCH each month so that I can work on something besides normal commissions, though I'm closed for those normal commissions for now as I kinda need a break and need to offer something else that I can do in a shorter amount of time, I might open up around end of April maybe or early May, so stay tuned for that! I'm sort-of trying to get myself to be faster at working on art but... it's not really doing well xP

Heya! Sorry things took a while for me to get through commissions, I've been finishing up on the last college stuff the past few months and I'm proud to say that I am finally graduating this December 10th! After that I will be DEFINITELY free to work on commissions everyday, well I mean I've been doing it now since I'm just waiting and don't have much to do but yeah! I am working through the queue now and hopefully to finish this batch by early next year, perhaps February? Not sure but I'll try my best!

Also on the side, I've been doing some game streams on my Twitch, just a fun side thing I can do so I can both relax and also share with you all my love for gaming. I usually stream on weekends UTC+8 if anyone is wondering, since on weekdays I work on commissions.

Hiya! As some of you may know, I went to Babyfur Con 3 just recently and it was a blast, I had so much fun talking to peeps who visited my room while I was working on art stuff. Really appreciate the company and the fun conversations! It was my first time being in BFC, and also the first time being in a con as an artist so it was all pretty new to me. I started out very anxious at first but slowly became more confident in just chilling and speaking out x3 Thank you so much to the organizers of this virtual con, I have definitely enjoyed it and hopefully will be able to join again in the next one, if it's another virtual con that is haha.

So! During the convention, I offered my exclusive BFC3 YCHs, and oh boy, thank you so much for the support! Heya guys! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported and trusted me for art commissions this year (Even though if I'm really really slow, I'm sorry XP but I really appreciate all these support!). Next year may be a bit different as I kinda aim to also focus on the last leg of my Thesis plus the last few remaining subjects I have, so I may end up busy or so, but I will try to open up next batch of commission slots (which will be fewer and have limitations due to the school situation thing) when I finish the current batch.

Alas! I have actually finished the damn commission batch that's like A YEAR OLD ALREADY. If only not for life stuff happening to me and so, I could've finished those earlier, but oh well, what's done is done. Glad I still finished it. I will be taking a small break from commissions for a while, like really small break, cause I would still need to keep earning funds while going through this pandemic. As for me, well over the past 3 months I've done my best clearing up my commission queue, chilling mostly in the house with my pretty long hair now (up to my shoulder as of writing this), chatting with friends, playing games, just kinda vibing along with staying home and quarantined. Rarely I go outside and mostly it's just to buy groceries and supplies, though one time I went out to buy a new graphics card for my PC as I've been readying my PC for the release of Cyberpunk 2077, probably the only thing I'm looking forward to this year in general. Other than that, I'm going back to school this next months BUT only taking one subject at a time, WHICH HOPEFULLY I can at least balance my commissions and school work, ugh cause I'm SO BAD AT THAT. But heck sure I'll try again.

July 2020. We're still under quarantine, might even revert back to enhanced quarantine if things get worse. Also we are confirmed top1 in Southeast Asia for covid cases, surpassing Indonesia and Singapore. Soooo yeah, alarming. But I'll be fine as I'm mostly cooped up at home hahaha. But still! June 2020. It's been 3 months since the country started to issue quarantines. Most cities are relaxed already to "General Community Quarantine".

I took a break from college for one semester due to the bs the school has done with the tuition fees being barely different from normal, even though they're only doing online classes. Very bs and unfair. This is why I am able again to keep working on commissions during weekdays, weekends I take the day off to mostly game and give my hand and wrists a break. Probably may be back to 'online' classes on August, so I'll try to work on as much as I can during this long break from school crap.

April 2020. The world didn't expect such a tiny speck of a virus to go all out spreading. Quarantines and lock downs have been placed in many countries.

Currently here in the Philippines, we're on "Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine" (Swear, can they make this terminology any longer? lol) and it was recently extended from supposedly end on 13th of April, to 30th of April instead. Hopefully things won't get worse and we may finally be able to "flatten the curve" else, it might get extended again. Now as for me, it's been a very slow progress, possibly the SLOWEST time yet in working on commissions since this batch has been for nearly a year now oh god... at this rate I should evaluate my horrid time management and progression. I may have to modify my latest COMMISSION SHEET as well to add some more key points.

Anyway, thank you for waiting and understanding, I know I don't really update much here in FA but I am indeed still alive and kickin' and still trying to work on commissions. Please stay safe and stay indoors, let's hope this crisis ends soon.

Man, this got filled up very fast, in less than a day even!

Hey guys! It's been ages since last time I posted a journal here, it's really a mix of my laziness, boredom, and actually being busy. But I just wanna say I've finally finished the last batch of commissions I did, finally. I still got problems juggling through school and commissions, plus my insurmountable laziness at times ;w; I apologize how long it took me, but rest assured I will still work on the art commissions nonetheless.

Anyway, just some life updates, you can skip this paragraph if you'd like to know about commissions stuff. So last year December 2018 I was able to go to Singapore with the help of my Dad, as well as my friends over there, I also collected enough funds to actually contribute to the accommodation. So I went there, had some fun with my mate and my friends over there, following the previous year's failure, I was really grateful to see them again and to spend some great time with them, and I thank them for making the year-end a blast, oh and even the start of this year 2019! My vacation in Singapore lasted from December 24, 2018 to January 1, 2019. I was there during the new year's eve, spending time with friends. Okay other updates, school is pretty much so-so and still the same thing as always. Oh and recently I visited a psychologist for a counseling session about some of my grueling problems such as envy/jealousy, anxiety, depression and so on. The guy gave me some key points to remember and try to integrate into my life, so far it's been working out okay, there are slight shifts here and there but it's considerably less daunting unlike before where each day almost feels like a great burden to me myself. I also faced the same counseling... ish when the school's counseling department called me to attention due to my recent answers on some "student needs analysis" survey where you tick boxes of problems you think you have. Another update, I am going to a local furry convention here in the Philippines titled "FurryPinas" and it's a beach-themed furry convention, apparently aceofheartsfox (or however it's typed) is coming, though I don't know much about this person, "Thanshuhai" on the other hand, OP digital painting furry artist that's all I can say, you may have seen his works circling around. And uh I think that's it for life updates.

Okay for commissions, I am to open 5 commission slots later on BUT first things first, I've been thinking of another price change because again my friends say the quality of my work isn't fitting for the price I put on it, but I will need your input or review to my proposed price change before I could put up the new price change and the commission slots.

Alright, so starting from 24th of December I will be off to Singapore, and it's gonna be real this time (Yeah I checked everything from passport to ticket, etc.) and not gonna be some utter failure like last year's dilemma. Anyway so I'll be there until 1st of January, so technically I'm spending my Christmas and New Year over there. I'll be there along with my loving mate, and definitely a couple of other friends I have over there. I really hope this would suffice in lieu of what happened last year, cause seriously, that thing has utterly changed me into some shet.

So, I'll be resuming commissions when I get back in January. Until then, may all of you folks have a great time in the holidays, spend it well with loved ones or friends, or heck treat yourself to it. Take care y'all!

Dear god I am FINALLY done with the college semester and I am soooo exhausted from it. The projects being given are just time consuming that I really do not have any time to work on commissions, or pretty much I'm just bad at time management, I really am and I can't really deny that ;w; But anyway, since I'm done I can finally get the time to work on these horrible due commissions I really feel so bad I had to go hiatus for such a long time as months even. But rest assured I have not forgotten the commissions and I will work on them. Again, thanks for understanding ;w;

I'm honestly having a hard time nowadays on working on commissions due to me being restless busy with school stuff, at such an early point throughout the semester. Which is really annoying for me cause yeah, I wanna work on commisisons but instead I'd end up doing school stuff for the whole week. I'm trying to do some compromises or such, I'm really sorry for this darn delay/inconvenience. But I will surely still work on commissions if ever I can find some free time to.
