I just got the news that FA's site owner https://www.furaffinity.net/user/dragoneer has passed away. I feel really terrible that I never even knew this site owner's username, nor did I even have the courtesy to follow him on here or any other social media platform. From all the other journals I've read on here since hearing the news, it's clear that he was a major influence on the furry fandom, and many of the people on this very site. It's real tragic that he had been going through such bad health issues. Sad how unfair life can be. I understand that people are afraid for FA's future with him gone, but as long as it still has a dedicated staff, and users still on it, this site and his memory will never be gone.

We'll miss you, Dragoneer.

Hope everyone's Halloween is as enjoyable this year now that we're actually allowed to go outside, unlike last year.

May 2021 be a year full of hope and change for the best!

Hard to believe it's almost been exactly a year since I posted a new journal here, but I just wanted to wish everyone on FA a happy and joyous holiday season. Even with how 2020 has been, it's still important to remember what really matters this time of this year.

Sorry I've been very quiet, but I just thought I'd type up a journal entry wishing everyone a merry Christmas. The reason for any lack of updates is because some things have been changing for me work wise. Nothing bad, but I'm not gonna go into full detail. Let's just say things will be going a lot smoother for me. Anyway, I hope everyone out there is enjoying the holidays keeping up traditions and spending time with family.

I'm sorry for the lack of anything on my page, but I thought I'd at least put a journal of something rather tragic that happened recently this weekend. Sunday afternoon my maternal grandfather or "Grampy" as we have always referred to him by had sadly passed away. It was a real loss not just for me but for my mother, aunt, uncles and many relatives and family friends alike. He had been battling many health issues and complications and was unfortunately unable to fight anymore. Even though he only had gone to school till he was 12, to me he always was one of the most wisest, smartest people I had ever known. His loss will always remind me to always cherish our lives and our youth as much as we can, because it could be gone in the blink of an eye.

Now in my last (and technically first) journal entry, I said I was gonna start posting stuff on FA. but there's been a problem. My printer/scanner is giving me trouble. nothing major but because it really hasn't been used, the ink cartridges had to be replaced. I thought the only one that had to be replaced was the black ink cartridge, but the only way it can actually work is if the rest of the colors can be replaced too. So the only thing I'm just gonna do is just replace the printer itself. I'll either get one brand new or used. Whichever comes first.

I know it seems strange how I’m actually submitting my very first journal entry eight years after joining FA, but things such as life, personal issues and even insecurities were what made me hesitant to submit anything whether it be artwork or even journals. So I thought I’d start by posting a journal saying that I’m going to be posting artwork just so I can share them on here. A fair warning, my art is hand drawn and not quite picture perfect, so any comments that involve hate and trolling will be blocked. Here’s hoping I get to submitting soon.
