Closing Shop
Posted 7 years agoThe Furday Creations website will be officially closing May 7th. These past few years have been a blast and I will miss working with such a wonderful, energetic, and quirky fan base.
I have shifted my career interest and will no longer have the time to dedicate towards building suits. My sincerest apologies to everyone who had planned to commission Furday Creations for their suiting needs.
I want to thank everyone for the love and support I received the past few years. Stay safe and hydrated out there!
Best regards,
Drena

Coming up for some air..
Posted 9 years agoTo everyone who favs, watches, comments, and shouts - thank you! I apologize for not returning the love. I have a habit of getting fixated on a project and abandoning my social network accounts.
I've been busy trying to work through commissions before the holidays really hit. I'll be hopping on a ship and sailing away during a good chunk of December, so I'm trying to get as much done as I can before I leave. Unfortunately because of that, very little progress has been made on my web store =[.
Anyways this is me just popping in and saying I'm still active - albeit its more behind the scenes.
Thanks for reading ^-^

Web Store in Progress; FURst-Aid Kits are up!
Posted 9 years agoSo I'm still working on the store for my website. I've got a bit of code to write and some pictures to take, but I hope to have it up soon. I also hope to have a Facebook page up around the same time.
Currently I have the FURst-Aid Kits available for purchase on my home page (http://www.furdaycreations.com/). They are very handy and compact kits that are convenient for cons and meetups. You can check them out on my website or here on FA in my gallery.

Caught A Break
Posted 9 years agoWhew! So I managed to knock out quite a bit this past month. I get to take this nice day off before I get back into working on commissions.
I'd like to thank everyone who has been visiting my website and submitting quote and question forms. Your interest, business, and support means the world to me. I apologize to those of you who couldn't get a slot reserved. I am booked until March 2017, and then closed until June or July. If anyone is interested in reserving a slot, there is a form on my website where you can submit your email to receive an alert if a slot opens up.
Pretty soon I will be opening a shop section on my site. I'll be selling suit items such as: resin hand and feet claws, rubber feet paw pads, claw molds, and feet paw pad molds. I'll also be selling the customizable drawstring bags, and a new item called the FURst-Aid Kit.
The FURst-Aid Kit is a compact and convenient kit to have when going to meets, hangouts, or conventions. It includes a plastic zipper pouch that contains a small/basic sewing kit (needle, needle threader, thread, safety pins, and scissors) a comb, craft adhesive, purell wipes, and adhesive bandages. The kit also comes with a water bottle, lanyard/badge holder, and a drawstring bag to hold everything in. I'll try to get a picture of the kit on here soon.
Also, I'll be making a Facebook page for Furday Creations soon, and plan on doing a FURst-Aid Kit giveaway to kick it off. So if you're interested, be on the look out for the next journal I post. Hopefully by then I'll have had some time to get the page put together.
Oh! P.S. I appreciate the watches and favs! I don't have the time to go through and thank everyone for them, so if I miss you I'm very sorry!

What I've Been Up To + New Customizable Drawstring Bags
Posted 9 years agoSo once again I've been busy with commissions and projects and have neglected my social media accounts. I always happen to luck out and check them when I receive messages though ^-^
I want to thank everyone who has been to my website and commissioned me or submitted quotes or questions. Your general interest and support means a lot to me =]
I've been making drawstring bags with my company name on them, and have recently decided to start doing custom bags. I'm offering 13x17" (WxH) bags that will have an 8X8 image of whatever art is supplied. I can put badge art, fursona art, or even art unrelated to furry fandom. The bags can come in the following colors: black, blue, red, green, yellow, pink, or orange with matching drawstrings, and they start at $15.
I think having a drawstring bag with your own character or art on it would be cool. Its handy and personalized to your interests. I'll be posting pictures soon and the bag will be one of them.
Other pictures I'll be posting include a few feet paws, partial pieces, and a full partial named Nacho Dog. Just a few of the things that kept me busy these past months.
I've been considering making a Facebook and Twitter account for Furday Creations, but I'm not sure if I can keep up with them (considering how often I actually update FA and Deviantart -_-). What do you guys think? Should I start up those accounts and post wips everyday and what not?
Anyways, thanks for reading!

Aaaaaaaaaand I return!
Posted 9 years agoOkay! So I have been super busy with various commissions, projects, and other unrelated things. I really wish I would have kept up with this account throughout the last month or so, but I get a one track mind when I'm rushing about. For a bit I had to close up shop and move across the country (driving about 2,100 miles with two dogs and some sugar gliders -_-) and then settle down at my new place.
Between this and that I managed to get my website up. I recently decided to make a few changes though so its back under construction, but it should only be down for two or three weeks. I've got a cute cover page up in the mean time, check it out at www.furdaycreations.com ^-^
Really the only thing that I've been good at keeping up with is my furbuy account. I was hoping to have more up for Anthro but I had to go be an adult and meddle with responsibilities and what not.
And so that brings me here. I'm going to try my super best to be active on this site with updates and all of that. Hope someones out there rooting for me lol

Inactivity =/
Posted 9 years agoWent on hiatus for a bit, and just when I thought I'd come back to be active on this account I pick up another com project. Hopefully between the projects and commissions I'll be able to get my website up _-_
I usually don't like to take progress pictures because it can kill my momentum and take up time, but I'm thinking maybe I should start, at least then I'll be active on here lol.

New to Furaffinity
Posted 9 years agoHmm..
So I'm a newbie and still trying to figure things out, but so far I like the community. So far everyone seems really nice. I see a lot of good artwork and crafting on here. It really motivates me to keep learning and practicing so that I can improve and be awesome too (lol). I've been creating projects on my own and selling them on Furbuy. I recently got brave and started taking commissions. After finishing a few commissions I've come to realize that what I was once thought was hard or intimidating, is actually well within my abilities.
Sooooo,
I started a FA account so that I could get my name out (FurDay Creations). I'm a fursuit maker and would like the chance to bring others fursonas to life; I hope reaching out to this community will help me do just that. I'm not really sure how journals work ('^';) or who will actually read this, but I welcome all members to openly criticize my work. I'm a bit shy (yes even on the net (-_-)) but love talking to people, especially about fursuiting.
Looking forward to the community experience.
I'll probably find out a week from now that journals don't work like I think they do (_-_)
