General | Posted 8 years ago*barfs* So... I just caught a really bad cold. I woke up feeling ill Thursday, felt better yesterday, got worse today. See, when I woke up today, all I've been doing is coughing, blowing my nose, and trying to clear my throat of all that mucus. Ugh, why did I have to get THIS ill on the weekend?

I have noticed that my attitude towards my commissions have been getting more and more toxic lately, with me burning out almost instantly at the thought of them. So, I'm going to go on a month long break, till July. This is so I can hopefully distress and get my head into a better place. I will still be doing things, and streaming, just, don't talk to me about commissions, okay?

a REAL Hiatus
General | Posted 8 years agoOkay, I really need a break! like, legit break, not the failed one last month. June, i'm going to disappear until July, and see if that makes everything better in terms of my creative focus and output

A quick summary of the creator wars:
Our world and the world of our through a portal experiment accident, end up existing a few miles away from each other in the same reality. The planets' gravity would tear each other apart, if it hadn't been for the mysterious forces of the tribunal, a being made of three aspects, fire, water and earth. These beings summon forth artists, writers, programmers, and 3d modelers, and their respective fursonas to compete against each other to win 3 wishes that they could use as they will, either to save or destroy the worlds.
This was a massive co-ab project I started way back in my early years of FA. It require participants to do their own instalments of what was happening to them and their fursona during the world. That's right, fursona, uno. It was just you and your main against the world. The war was supposed to have 3 segments. First was the tasks and challenges, where the creator and creation would go through scenarios like video games, stories, and solve tasks, like fight off enemies, save a city, etc. It even be as simple as find your way out of a maze or plant a crystal.
part 2 was the rest period, a chance for some character development, and plot forwarding, such as introducing new enemies, and a few wrenches in the works.
the last act, the fighting, would had been artist and fursona going up against other artists and fursonas. Sadly, the wars never got past the rest stage.
This time will be different. This time, I can ANIMATE! ahem... and do renders. This will cut down on the creation time of panels for the creator wars by a lot... but i'll need help if I go full animation. Anyone want to help me with that? If not, we can do it as it was before, with everyone doing their own thing, only we'll have to coordinate better. I think that's why it fell apart last time. We got a little too creative and no one could quite match up with anyone else.
This time around, i'll make clear rules, and post deadline dates for segments. Also, if you feel like crossing over with another artist, GET TALKING with them first. plan it out!
But yeah, me, going to take a break in june, and the creator wars reboot. Also, if you have anyideas for the wars themselves, let me know! This is a group effort after all XD

mother's day and birthday

Just wanted that today is my birthday, as jt is dockyo and hornetv8's. No, we are not brothers, lol. Also, happy mother's day to all the mamas out there. At the moment i am in the eat in theater waiting to watch guardians of the galexy vol. 2. When i get home i will work on dockyo's ref, work on growshi, sova and val. There is also a chance that i may get some writting done. I want to try to finish those commissions if possible. Depending on my work scheual next week, i mAy try to.wrap up botw, though i really do not want to leave that hyrule. What it lacks in temples and gothic locals outside the temple.of time and hyrule castle, and that one fort, it makes up in life! It is easily the most alive game i have played yet. Movie should start soon, talk to you soon

why the stream stoped
General | Posted 8 years agoSo, at around a quarter after midnight, the stream cut out. This was due to the wifi failing. I did some investigating, and everything i can fix seems fibe, router has power, the dns has been flushed, and i cycled power. The only oddity is that the internet light on the router is orange instead of green. I assume this means that there might be an issue at the cable company, a theory supported by the phones being dead too.
On a side note, if i get a patreon, would having acess to my models library and mashups be a good thing to set as a tier?
