General | Posted 8 years agoAfter coming back to the hotel room after eating too much, and having a oreo cream pie for desert, I promptly started to feel very ill. Stomach cramps and the like. All the same, I booted up my laptop, and after restarting the pos, I made a quick run to the restroom. I was planning on streaming an hour earlier, but having diarreah and upchucking so much of that desert that I might as well have been vomiting, I ended up getting delayed by a bit. No worries! gestures now, followed by Justin's ref sheet. I may stay in the room tomorrow, so look forward to a pay what you want session. YAY! https://picarto.tv/DracoRex

first off, a face I bet none of you thought you'd see again,
followed up by tweaking simba,
with a dose of tweaking another model, something a bit more stormy
and then wrapping up with inspecting another model
tomorrow, I will work on the tpose ref for juilan's tpose ref so I can get started on his model, my first 3d model commission

General | Posted 9 years agoGreat fantastic news, I actually have bomba's animation file on the laptop's hard drive! YAY! I wasn't sure if it was here or on the flashdrive. This means I can work on him more while away. Though honestly, i'm getting a couple of other ideas of animations to do >;3
Bad news: still don't have all of my sound effects on hand, so I may need to recollect them. However, many of them were unique, as in I made them myself. Those were some of my better inflation/balloon sounds so they'll be missed

Dude, where's the comics?
General | Posted 9 years agoWhy are I not making comics anymore? Well here's the skivy. See, I tend to burn out the easiest on comics, as they take the most time to do. Doing a background for each frame, measuring for each character in each panel, being aware of panel restrictions for the word bubbles, thought bubbles or just to make sure there's enough space for everything is extremely taxing.
That's why when I have a long comic idea, I tend to make it an animation instead of a comic. Sure, animations can drag too, but they have several advantages. The first major one is that I don't have to constantly remeasure or make sure the character or background are still on model, as they ARE models. You have no idea how refreshing that is! Plus, there is little else better in this world than seeing your work come to live with the press of a button. Given, it's limited life until I sit down and learn how to get programing, but life al the same.
I will still do comics on occasion, but they're not going to be as high quality, or as long. That type of attention will go to my main commission and my animating. I hope you can all understand why I am doing this.

General | Posted 9 years agowhen I got home for work, I was tired so I took a nap. when I woke up, I was even more tired. So, I think today is a good day to just chill, and put everything off to tomorrow. I mean, if I feel ready to pass out, why fight it? I can get stuff done tomorrow at any rate.
