Let's get serious here
General | Posted 9 years agoSince November I have been having a bit of a problem. It started during lunch at work, where I found myself spitting up some lettuce from my Caesar chicken wrap. This escalated over time to me spitting, then burping up larger chunks of the food, and doing it more often. At first, it was one wet burp and move on. Now, it's like five or so, and I've had everything from icecream to tortilla chips, tomato soup to pizza come back up. It used to happen the most during lunch, now it's happening when I shower after breakfast too, and sometimes after supper as well. At first, I thought it was just the wrap, then I thought I was over eating, then acid reflex, and now I think it might be gas. I honestly don't know what the hell is happening to me me.
It started roughly when I started working at my first job, at the local supermarket. I was having lunch there and BAM! into the toilet goes some food.
Now, what is very important to note here is that I don't always feel a burning sensation when the food comes up. Aka, the stomach acid doesn't always come up with said food. Sometime, things like icecream are still cold when they come up, while other times, like just now, the icecream transformed from the best vanilla ever to the worst crap I have ever tasted.
This isnt' to say the burning doesn't happen at all. It does. Sometimes it comes in waves of increasing pain up my throat, as if my digestive track had gone into reverse. Also, I feel like my body wants to vomit, hence why I just let it come out, either into a toilet, sink, or into a tissue. I mean, if my body wants it out, why should I fight it?
What's more, sometimes my neck gets sore, like in the beginning, I felt as if I had this hard, rubber donut trapped in my throat, and the only thing that seemed to help was drinking tea and gargling hot salt water. Back then, I assumed my allergies had reached an all new level of awfulness and I was starting to choke on mucus. This is no longer the case.
Lastly, I have always had a lot of gass in me, and I have started taking gas pills in hopes it would help sort things out. For the first few days, it seemed to be working, but not anymore. I will say this, I do feel like i'm burping when the food comes up, to some extent. It's like I feel the after effect of a burp, and when the food tries to come back up, and fails, I do belch a little.
Tbh, it feels like I have less and less room in my stomach every day...
I have to go now, but when I get back, writing stream!

[update] its getting even worse. It happened while I was doing squats tonight, and it has never happened while I was doing squats before. and it was mostly water, with a little of the pizza from supper, and now my stomach feels wrong...

General | Posted 9 years agoI am neglecting too many of my other interests as of late. I need to stop doing blender during nearly every second of my free time, so, it's back to my self-imposed schedule. Monday is blender day. Tuesday is writing, Wednesday is writing or art, Thursday is blender, Friday is blender or writing, Saturday is free day, Sunday is whatever I am farthest along in doing.
