General | Posted 9 years agoI am going to be running down to my grandfather's house today, to see the family and chat. I may not have the time to get any serious drawing done when I get back. Due to this, the pay what you want may be delayed until tomorrow afternoon, or Friday. Sorry.

the reason i had to suddenly fly down south:
General | Posted 9 years agoToday my grandfather died at the age of 87 years old. This is a very difficult time for my family. For the past two days he was asleep, and just never woke up. He had managed to beat his cancer back again, and he was breathing well again. In the end, it seems that he simply died of old age. The good news is that he went peacefully.
I... have no words. I want to type more, but i am starting to really cry. I just hope he is happy up in heaven or whatever awaits us in the afterlife. Some day, dad and i will join him, as all who live will pass on, so some day i will see him again.

General | Posted 9 years agoHello, everyone. I am writing this journal to let you know that the inflation game has ground to a halt of sorts. Our latest programmer has become consumed by his day job, so we'll need a new one to help us get the project rolling again.
In case you don't know what I'm talking about, the game project this time is based on the concept of bowser's balloon burst, only with more bigness, characters and environments. The 3d animations for the first character, the Drachoke, are essentially complete enough to create a working prototype. I even have a game over animation.
The game's controls are supposed to be simple, you inflate the character with the arrow keys in a ddrish fashion (wow, I just cant' get away from that formula, eh?)
If you are interested in lending a hand, paw, wing or claw, you can send me a note over fa and we can talk things through and i'll introduce you to the others on this project. Thank you!

goal 2 - make a box and prep the articuno vs pigeot animation - made a cardboard box and a texture for the ground, put the actors in place, and discovered that articuno's wings don't fold up the way they should. Neither do the pigeot's wings. I may need to do some posekeying to make things work the way they should. Also, still have to redo their eyes, or they'll just be staring off into the middle distance forever
