Well Christmas is over and wow what a holiday. I got mostly stuff for my job for Christmas, but the big present for me this year was my new graphics tablet. ^^ Never thought I'd say that but wow wow WOW! It's incredible. It is a little awkward to use right now, especially as I have to look up at a screen to see what I'm drawing instead of what I'm actually drawing on. But I'm sure I'll get used to it. I have basic software that came with, but honestly I'm looking for a specific drawing program: simple, yet detailed; customizable, cheap, and doesn't eat up my poor laptop's memory. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. That is all. :3

Yup just been sooooo busy with the holidays coming up, my job, and recently bad luck. The past week, it was just one thing after another. I'd rather not go into details but it got really pricey really fast. Hopefully this week will be better. In terms of drawing progress, it's slow but definitely seeing some improvement. Mostly trying to nail down the basics since I was never trained in any other type of art except the only art I absolutely despise: still life. More like snore life. X3

Now I would like to bring something up: I am still writing, I still love to do it. I just wanted to get better at drawing as another form of storytelling and because it's just so damn fun. :D Writing just sort of comes to me naturally. Drawing is something I have to work for, which only compels me to pursue it more. Each new drawing I've made only made me want to try more ideas. Hopefully I can keep improving until my drawing becomes decent. X3 That is all. :3

Yup stuck in a room with strangers, not exactly what I want to do today. But it gives me time to do some drawing practice I suppose. At least they have wireless, thank God. That is all. :3

So um...I think I'm making progress. I do practice sketches during my lunch breaks at work and during slow time. I tried drawing Sonic characters since they're fairly simple. It turned out to be a great idea, and I'm starting to understand anatomy better. The problem is that I'm so worried about getting everything right, I lock up and get nothing done. It's been a problem since I was a kid in many things. So...does anyone have any advice regarding drawing bodies? That is all. :3

I want to apologize to those who I have requests from. I swear I will work on some of them this week when I get the chance. Getting used to work is taking longer than I expected. That is all. :3

So my job is going well, keeping me EXTREMELY busy. Seriously, it might take me awhile to get into a comfortable rhythm or schedule. Been practicing drawing as well...well doodling but still practice I suppose. It might be awhile before I start writing regularly again. But the job comes first. So stay tuned. That is all. :3

After nearly a YEAR of job hunting, I've landed a REAL job. It's a desk job, but it pays really well. I'm just....oh my God I'm so happy. Just have to go through a security check since it's a government job. But still, <3 Happy wolfie. That is all. :3

Had a great time with my dad and bro down in North Carolina. Though the traffic coming back home was a nightmare. Anyways, on the way back I decided that I should be more organized in terms of drawing and writing. So I'm setting up an organizational system to keep everything up to date and on track. Also praying that I get the job at the FDA, I could use the cash. But yah I'm home again. That is all. :3

I read something on Tumblr that made think about how I approach my writing and such. Some people say 'oh anything I draw is terrible, I hate myself' and so on. But in my case, I've just always assumed I was average or below average. Completely serious. I know that sounds a little arrogant, but it's true. I've always assumed I was behind everyone. It wasn't until recently that I realized that assumption was completely wrong. I wrote a story for someone and they practically praised me. As usual I said it wasn't that great, but then the person insisted and described exactly what they loved about the way I wrote. That was a big shock to me that others didn't write the way I do. I still think there are better writers than me, that's a given. But I'm a little more accepting of the idea that I'm not terrible. So that's progress. X3 That is all. :3

Er yeah still alive, but veeeeery busy. I've got this potentially good paying job in the works, they haven't said yes yet, but crossed fingers. x3 I'm really gonna try to start writing recreationaly again, my fingers hurt abit from typing up emails, letters and such for all this. So I'm taking a trip to Busch Gardens with my little bro this weekend, both of us need some time away from our parents, and they agree they need some time to themselves as well. It'll be my first ever all planned by me trip. :3 I'm excited, got the hotel, the park tickets. All we need now is the car. I want to take his Mini since it's better to drive and more comfortable then my old boring stiff Civic, but that remains to be seen if we can. So yah. That is all. :3
