Someone got ahold of my bank account number. They only took out exactly $38, but I ain't waiting until they start taking out more. So I'm going to the bank to close out the account. Big pain in my ass. My brother got fast talked a few days ago into a scam and had to freeze his account. This has NEVER happened before in my home town. Like NEVER AT ALL. Do these guys come in waves and then run like the scared little rats they are? People like this piss me off. They take your money with a smile and enjoy watching you suffer.....*sighs* guess that's life for ya. It was bound to happen sometime. Anyways, if a transaction doesn't clear from me as a result of this, just wait abit and I'll sort this out. That is all. -_-

Ok so first off, I've removed the 20 page maximum on the story commission as I think it might have deterred some people. I know I haven't been very active, blame that mostly on my mother who seems to think that me not giving her regular updates on my life means I need more work. x3 The request slots will reopen as soon as I'm done with them, and the waiting list is for overflow just in case. That is all. :3

So uh yeah sorry about that last journal, it's just one of my pet peeves that I can't stand. Anyways job search has been..slow, and I'm still thinking about graduate school. Drawing wise I've decided to use coloring to help me learn different techniques, shapes, etc. I will have examples up soon. That is all. :3

Ok I have to say something about this cuze I can't stand it anymore. If I comment on someone's art, that does NOT mean I'm being a suck up hoping for free art. That is just low and I feel insulted that some people think that's what I am. If I comment on someone's art, it's because I actually LIKE it. Why is this such a hard concept for people to get? If I become friends with someone it's because I'm actually INTERESTED in the person. I'm impulsively honest sometimes to my disadvantage. I can't help it, if I say your art is good, I mean it. If I say I want to get to know you better and hang out with you, I mean it. Ok? We all clear now? Good. That is all. :3

Er I'm lowering the coloring starting price to $4 instead of $8. Eight seemed alittle excessive. That is all. :3

In addition to offering a story commission slot, I was thinking about coloring since that seems to be something that some people are interested in. I'm currently experimenting with it on my Kindle tablet which I just got the mobile version of Photoshop for. Now I'm not saying they'll be great, but hey sometimes you gotta go outside your comfort zone to discover new things. So if I did offer that, I'd probably start the prices around like say $8, or something I guess. I'll open a tentative slot for this just to see how it goes. If the demand increases, I might consider opening more. So if anyone wants to give it a shot, let me know. That is all. :3

Ok I'm gonna give this a shot. Here's the deal, I'm gonna offer $1 per page, max of 20 pages, and I will keep the person up to date on my progress regularly. I will still offer requests and trades. However, the commission slot will have preference, and will be significantly longer. I may consider a series of stories like chapters or something if offered. Payment will be accepted AFTER I complete the commission, not before. No exceptions. That is all. :3

In the last journal I laid out the reasons why I don't do commissions. But I've been thinking about it and maybe I'm just being too hard on myself. So I'd like to ask you guys if I did open some type of commission thing, would anyone take it?

A few people have have talked to me about that and I'd like to make it clear why I don't:
1. I do not see my writing as having any monetary value.
2. I do trades and requests so why do commissions? Duh x3
3. Money magically appearing in my bank account while I'm unemployed would be tough to explain.

Now having said all of this, if people REALLY want me to do commissions, I might consider it. But for now, trades and requests only. That is all. :3

This year it was low key, the way I like it. Mostly cash, a few shirts and a board game based on the works of horror author H. P. Lovecraft. Had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and my little brother even called me. (That's never happened before) So all and all a good day. Some people get upset when they don't get presents on their birthday. For me the love of my family and friends is enough, but presents are welcome. ^^ Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled program. That is all. :3

Good God I'm 24 today. o-o Where does the time go huh? Still alittle sick, but better than yesterday so I guess that's progress. I expect lots of gifts x3 Ok not really, but a shout out would be nice for a sick wolfie on his birthday. :) That is all. :3

I did not sleep last night at all. It was like someone just switched off my ability to sleep. Was spitting out mucus and blowing my nose till 4 am this morning. I finally got some rest thanks to my parents' help and now my body still can't tell if it's tired or not. As a result I'm stuck in the beach house with my grandmother (which I don't really mind). I tried sketching last night to make myself tired, only succeeded in a few concept sketches but it's something. Might do some more sketches if I get the time. Yup I'm opening all of the slots now. And...I'm hesitant to say this but, that includes drawings. Don't expect something top notch as I'm still improving but I could use the practice. So for the umpteenth time, I'm gonna try drawing again. But this time, I've got some idea of what I'm doing after watching a few streams. The main problem I had was I could not visualize the drawing process. So watching someone do it most of the way through definitely helped. And (I can't believe I'm doing this), if anyone wants to be the victim of my latest attempts to draw I'm allowing one of my slots, be it trade or request, to be used for this. More likely the request slot. That is all. :3
