Omg it feels soooo good to be a geek again. :3 I decided not to go in my coat cuze I didn't want to go in over my head if that makes sense. I was looking in from the outside last year but to actually BE there...oh man the geek in me went absolutely nuts. I snagged a few goodies from the stalls and looked in the art galleries. But the main attraction was really the costumes of the con-goers. Some of these people should be in the film industry, seriously. All in all, an awesome day. Definitely going next year. I'm back from Canada! To be honest, it wasn't the worst vacation I've ever been on, but it wasn't the best either. Mosquitoes, log cabins with electrical outlets but NO wifi and NO ac, next to a lake with a bunch of nature lovers. On the upside, I did manage to snag a piece for my Otakon outfit while there. So yah. OH! I'll be at Otakon tomorrow. Assassin's Creed coat, can't really miss it. x3 I'm kinda nervous as this is my very first convention and I don't normally do this sort of thing. But hey you only live once right? Might as well. And now I shall collapse in exhaustion from my 9 hour car ride from Ontario back to Maryland- *flops on bed* Zzzzzzzz That is all. :3

That's right, I'm taking a trip to Canada from this friday till about August 9th. I shall have VERY limited net access or time to check on things so if there's anything anyone needs to talk to me about, please do it asap or wait till next friday. That is all.:3

I finally separated my checking account into a private one so my mother doesn't snoop around in it. From now on, it's MY money. :D Downside is there's no safety net so I run out, I run out. No last minute deposits from my mom. Makes getting a job even more important, almost motivating in a way. However, while my finances are now my own, I'm not gonna spend like crazy. I don't have the cash for that. I will consider buying a commission or two from some people here, but using the Visa gift cards I got to save money. Cheap? Maybe. But money's money so... yah. Big milestone achieved. That is all. :3

Couldn't sleep due to not being able to breathe, then due to my lack of sleep my condition didn't improve so now I'm stuck at home. Can't think, can't write, can't stay up to be on messenger...it sucks. That is all. ACHOO! *sniffle*

Woke up at 5:00 am, was a frigging mess. Grinded the hell out of my car's gearbox, nearly had four accidents on the way there. Then got to the site...23 story high rise...25% done...no windows..no railings...I was terrified due to my extreme phobia of heights past 2 stories. Everyone spoke Spanish and I had no idea what I was supposed to do. And then the kicker: went to the 19th story which REALLY wasn't done...nearly hyperventilated. I don't care if the pay is 10 bucks an hour. NOT worth me being a nervous wreck by the end of the day, it's just not. Besides the archives job rocks..ok not making money from that...yet. So...back to square one...kinda...my brain's dead I'm gonna go lie down. That is all. @-@

Yeah I know I should be cheering right about now..but...it's a construction job...at 6:10 am. 7:00 am, I can do. 8;00 am, fine. 6:00 am...disaster. I speak from experience. Me at 6:00 am= shitty work. Don't know why, maybe it's because I don't drink coffee or something. But the pay's good, it's only part time, and I get to keep my volunteer job at the National Archives (which is where I ACTUALLY want to work). So I can't complain without looking like a stuck-up arrogant jerk so....yeah. That is all.-_-

Turns out I'm not needed this weekend so I'm staying home...by myself...o-o..that is all. :3

What a night. Saw some weird things like a shadow person that only appeared on the ground, and silhouettes of people ducking behind trees. And I'm one of the biggest skeptics in the group. I go over everything with a fine tooth comb. And some of the things that happened last night...I still can't explain. Hopefully I caught some good audio on my recorder. I caught a couple interesting photos that I couldn't debunk. So overall, I'm SO satisfied and so want to do that again. And now...I'm tired. *goes back to bed* That is all. :3

Yes I'm part of an official paranormal group did I forget to mention that? x3 Now regardless of people's views on the paranormal, it still happens. It's always intrigued me and I want to see if there's anything to it. So tonight is our first investigation. I'm not allowed to divulge where due to client confidentiality, but it's an early 19th century building so it should be fun. So yah wish me luck, me and the team are gonna need it. That is all. :3

Which is better when it comes to drawing? I seem to struggle with pencil drawings and was wondering if there was any benefits to the drawing tablet. I've seen them in stores and their prices are...abit out of my range at the moment. So I'm wondering if it would be a good investment for me. That is all. :3

Yup, it allows me to access MSN but not Skype. Msn, yes. Steam, yes. Skype (for some stupid reason), no. So if anyone was planning on chatting with me on Skype, gonna have to do it during the day until I can fix this. That is all. :3
